I told my Dad "I love you" intentionally for over 10 years before he ever responded. Now, at 89 he's open and loving. Anything worth doing is worth investing the time and effort
My dad was the same way. Before he passed he finally gave in and started saying it back to my sister and I after decades of hammering him down. I think men of their generation were brainwashed by John Wayne movies and whatnot to just be stone-cold, and that hasn't played out very well throughout history. It's good that you made it a priority.
@@GroundbreakGames Way to go! Very cool of you to stay persistent. Yes, my Dad is an old Scottish man's man - a heart of gold, but he's a deep stoic and keeps his emotions super buttoned up.
@@JonathanLoganPDX You guys have inspired me he's 84 and hard as nails - I'll keep going!
Na, na .. If it's not a matter to him, I move on. Wasted effort, time, hope. If he wants to say it, then that's his deal. I can't stand when complicated people allow the good people in their lives to walk on egg shells. If they want to live the life of a narcissist! Let them be. None of my business or my job to fix them. I'm not giving or investing my mind, time and energy doing their personal work for them. Their not babies and their not worth the time or anguish. My Dad is not like that though, but I've invested 15 years of my life being there for a narcissist, but only because she was also abused, beaten and traumatized to below zero. If it wasn't for all the other unfortunate things that happened to her, I could care less about how a narcissist feels or when they find compassion at some long and winding road they can't come back from. They'll use you up until your last nerve has cracked. Father or not, I refuse to be their victim. The woman I was with became my friend eventually, and got married. I have been a successful outside perspective/marriage counselor for them, and with their willingness to listen constructively (I am 10 years older than they are) and mutual respect, they are doing great. I was with her for 2 years and then after, a friend/personal coach for 13 years, but I held her accountable to being a good friend, very high standards and she eventually saw it worthwhile to let me help her change for the better and her new husband recognizes me as trustworthy and in a strange way, family. I am a step-father to one of her kids. Today even my daughter appreciates ideas and the work on her personal growth. We've celebrated 14 Christmas's together, the next will be 15. I think my friend is a rare occasion of a narcissist becoming 70% less of a narcissist. I did it for her, but because she needed someone, but a normal and able narcissist, never. Nope, I already know my daughter is not a narcissist, sweet and unselfish, very mindful. I'm proud of her. At 15 years of age she has a lot of self-respect and self-awareness, honor and values, and behaves well. I taught her a lot about a lot, especially emotional intelligence, creativity and being present, having purpose and what it means to be grateful and how happiness is her right and choice to be. When she was very young people said I was spoiling her, but I have proven them wrong, she aims for and recognizes personal success at many levels, recognizes and values ideas for what their worth. Inspired by innovation, I kind of had something to do with that. Even though she is not a genius kid, she will be set for a better life than I had, I did my part daily and it was all worth it. Still going though.
David Anthony wow that was a lot! You might be a narcissist yourself! The act of forgiveness or releasing is for YOU not the other person
At 35:39, I had an epiphany. I learned my life is exactly where it is due to nothing other than my internal beliefs ("A belief is nothing more than a group of cells that have been connected and then reinforced."). My beliefs are the control center of my life, everything I do operates from my beliefs. So realizing this is extremely profound, and might've just very well saved me from ruining my life due to the wrong beliefs. Thank you so much for everything.

This is what I have been doing everyday. I am changing my paradigm and I am rewiring my mindset for success. I am destined for greatness and everyone watching this can change there reality aswell if you stay disciplined... break generational curses and lead the way and show the world how you can and should live your life!!!
Allah! La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and protects all that exists. Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth. Who is he that can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they will never compass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them. And He is the Most High, the Most Great. [This Verse 2:255 is called Ayatul-Kursi.]
[Surah al-Baqarah 2: 255]
Your commitment to changing your paradigm and rewiring your mindset for success is truly inspiring! By embracing discipline and determination, you're setting yourself on a path towards greatness and paving the way for positive change in your life. Your words carry immense power and serve as a reminder to others that they too have the ability to transform their reality through focused effort and determination.
Breaking generational curses and leading the way towards a better life is a noble endeavor, and your dedication to this cause is commendable. Keep shining your light and inspiring others to follow suit. With perseverance and a positive mindset, anything is possible. Here's to continued growth, success, and impact in your journey!

Investing in many sources of income that are independent of government paychecks is the prudent thing that everyone should be thinking about right now, especially given the global economic crisis. Stocks, forex, and digital currencies are still good investments at this time.
Sure, investing is essential for maintaining your financial stability, but making any kind of legitimate investment without the correct advice of a professional can result in a significant loss as well.
It's really not easy trading this market. I read a lot of books, tried to study, watch some tutorial videos, did a little demo before funding my account and I still lost a lot. The financial market could be very tricky

Love the message. Wealth is a state of mind. When I focus on gratitude and enjoying today, money finds it way to me much easier and more enjoyable. Everytime I play the game of adding another 0 to my net worth, it always starts with the inner work.
There are lots of mixed opinions about stocks and there projection in the next coming years, I aim for short term solid gains from market correction and I'd definitely jump on the boat if I knew a thing or two about day-trading, but then again what do I really know? For all his success, the real "human moment" that made me connect with this man and his message was at 8:30 when his emotion came through when speaking about his promise to his mentor. That moment shows what his journey has meant to him and how much keeping his promise to his mentor means to him. That was a genuinely authentic moment which built far more credibility in his message than any titles or success facts ever could.
Very true. However, I wish he would sell his program for a little cheaper 🙈😌🤷 One day I’ll be able to afford it 🙏🏽
i'm in my 20s right now. a month before i was really don't care about money becase, i really need some love. but two weeks before i had a really big money problem . i asked for help from my close ones, friends and people who i thought they love me the way i do. but, no one is even tried to help me accept my self. in that point i thought in this world money matters. you need no motivatrional videos , no motivational speaks situation will teach you everything. now i'm working for myself and my mind is under my control. i will make money more than anyone in my surrounding and i'll help people who are in the need of money. because, i was in the situation and i can understand the situation.

Divorce your story & marry the truth. ( short version)
Change your story, change your life. Divorce the story of limitation, and marry the story of truth and everything changes ...
Exactly!
This quote is so powerful!!!!!! I feel it in every part of me! I understand in this interview the point of his statement is that we can separate ourselves from what has happened to us/our experiences- to create whatever version of ourselves we want to. That we can become anything and re-write our story. Which is empowering, inspiring, motivating, and so true. And I think the other side of that is just as beautiful.... that we can be so grateful for who we are now ~because~ of our story. Our unique journey; our trials and hardships and successes and failures and joys and sorrows have all shaped us into the incredible human beings we each are. This is equally as important to recognize; to accept our past without regrets or wishing things were different; and ultimately realizing the importance of our story in shaping our lives into who we have become.
Beautiful you are awesome

A friend told me years ago that when the student is ready, the teachers will appear (show up)... How true that statement is for a lot of us .... Through the years I have struggled with the burden of a hellis childhood, alcoholic father who only once told me that he care about me ( in words) while in deeds he did show it immensely, and an abusive mother who never told me that she loved me, instead beat the innocence out of my life, while yelling that she should it left me in the garbage can where she found me crying like a cat ... I have never felt love for her... She made sure that love was never born in my heart for her.... Thanks for this amazing video... At 61 I need it like I did 50 years ago. Many blessings.

In awe and so happy for John’s success. This gives me more conviction and belief that new thought science really works. When you’ve lived with your filter and self limiting beliefs since childhood like me. Doing this takes more effort. It really does. The hardest part was believing and feeling. @Ghosts,UFOs,Meditation-Music & Crap When you don’t believe something, you don’t give your attention to it, so it becomes meaningless and eventually disappears from your life or you just ignore it automatically thus it’s as if it has disappeared.
If, for any reason, you keep focusing on what you don’t believe, you either going to create resistance and suffering for you and probably for other people too or you are going to saturate your mind so much with this stuff that you’ll eventually start to change your point of view and who knows you might believe (the thing you didn’t believe) at some point, or flirt with the idea of believing it.
There is no real misbehaving there is only behaving. The exception, at least for me, is to do to others what you don’t want to be done upon yourself. Yes that I can call it evil, misbehaving, narcissistic, bad, ill intention etc…
Same goes if you keep belittling your own self with self pity, self loathing etc. There is no reason to hate yourself if you truly want to live happily and be of service, in any way, to others and to yourself• mutual benefit.

"helped me without shaming me, embarrassing me and making me feel guilty" since I immersed myself in self-development I often try to "help" people, make them improve something, but my message often is shameful that they are bad because they do it differently. And it escapes my awerness often I am embarrassing them the way I speak to them so they become resistant.

Great stuff. Fifty years ago, as a young Navy flight instructor, I used Maltz's Psycho-Cybernetics with my students (and for myself as a flight student.) But I totally agree! It is amazing to think of a “belief” as nothing more than a collection of nerve cells that have interacted with each other long enough to become perceived as a single unit; an entity unto itself!
This is one of the best interviews. I’ve watched it a couple of times. It would be nice to have him back again. I’m sure there is still so much to learn, he is so wise.
John you are one of my favorite teachers. Thank you for being you.
Tom your are evidently cut for what you are doing, remember many of us u will never know how much u are helping change our lives with the People u interview, thank u💞💞
John im glad u succesvol in helping others as u promised!
Both of u, briljant, as we say it in Holland💞
Don't mind my english, my 1st language is ZULU, surely u can understand 🤣
✋🏼👊🏼😀❤️ “Failure is an opportunity to learn” Mindset for the win! Thank you John! Mentors and associations are so important. Be committed and be who you are destined to become.
Mindset and execution is a deadly combination
That is so correct, I wish people arrive to that all on their own like i did some days ago.
Brian Tobias nice one man.
Brian Tobias, especially by guillotine :0
I guess, but most people myself included simply do not have the ambition, it always amazes me when people say I want to have a big house or have lots of money, its never been my goal for some reason, does that make me content? mediocre? I don't know
@@thomasjust2663 That perspective makes you be more receptive to life's hidden treasures. Luckily you free your mind from pointless worries and get to focus on what really matters.
Thank-you John, for kindly helping others to fulfil their potential and not succumbing to the sadness from the past.
Thank you for interviewing John. I’ve never heard of him before and he is INCREDIBLE. He speaks in such a authentic, calm, and intentional way.
Gosh! This is definitely one of the most inspiring and heart warming talks that I've heard. Will save and listen to it over and over again for sure. Thank you so much for this interview Tom
Haan ji
This is one of or dare I say THE most amazing interview in this series. John is so generous with sharing things that worked for him, esp about how to move from thought to action.
I love the fact that I have been listening to podcast and motivation speeches for a year now and I totally understand everythig he says,It all makes so much sense,Im 17 and I am fucking motivated to achieve what I want, thank you Tom
Stay empowered!
Yes, be excited! Good for you. The power of awareness and choice! But remember, learn to love your neighbors, your brothers from another mother. Hate is self defeating. Be humble, be open minded and never feel like you know enough. Be fit man, workout your biceps and chest, feel the power, what it feels like to be a man. I am older now, but what I realize today, I should have worked out more and experienced the physical side of being a man more than I did. Enjoy it, it will boost your ambition and give you a healthy sense of being your true self. People will hear it in your voice, the confidence and solid personality. Just don't let the testosterone make you crazy and get into trouble you don't need. Be wise man. Yes! Feelings are just signals. We should learn to read them. An awareness and proper way of reading them can take us so far. It's such an important skill.
Feelings point us in new directions. Let's continue to get better at navigating those feelings.

What an amazing and inspiring human being. I can relate to John’s story and biggest takeaway is the two things asked: Are you interested or committed? Wow, that is my break through. Thank you and God bless you for creating this video for so many people.
I cried when you said that your father said he loved you for the first time John. What a beautiful story. You have inspired me in a huge way.. I mean, I was already inspired, but your ideas are good and true.

Best interview on this channel so far. I admire this so much.
This interview brought tears to my eyes as you can feel how much he really wants to help people have a better journey because of his own pain and the how to was extraordinary. i have to say this was the best interview too because you came away with tools you could use. Just when i think you can't top it, you come out with another extraordinary one which just shows how many people are doing extaordinary things....
