- This video is an updated list of the top ten most powerful/ best long swords in #KingdomComeDeliverance. This list is a followup to viewer suggestions and comments on my previous video. Due to that input, this list is based solely of each weapons max damage output, and the weapons are ranked accordingly without any other variables. I first show each weapon, and visually critique them, and then i go through the stats of each weapon. #WarhorseStudios #KCD

Those "lines" in the blade are known as fullering. The advantage of fullering is that it reduces the weight of the blade without sacrificing cutting power.
Awesome, that is kind of what i had thought, but i wasn't sure if there were any secondary advantages, like how in a kitchen knife set, some of the knives have things on the blade that i assume are to help a knife cut meat. www.google.com/url?sa=i&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=2ahUKEwihw-qfjM3cAhUE_IMKHWjtC5cQjRx6BAgBEAU&url=http%3A%2F%2Fnymag.com%2Fstrategist%2F2016%2F10%2Fthe-best-kitchen-knives-according-to-chefs.html&psig=AOvVaw3WCcssffA51poQ7slwqNdx&ust=1533255492212682
Also fullers can affect the flexibility or rigidity of a blade similar to how corrugated iron or tin gains or loses structural integrity when ridged or flattened
Also the twisted "bulb" pommel mentioned is commonly called a scent stopper due to the similarity to perfume bottle lids.
The duellists pommel is usually called a Brazil nut pommel
it also helps the sword not get stuck if it's stabbed into someone so fullering helps give some air and not get stuck from suction
Herod’s sword looks kinda basic
St George should have more damage than Herod’s sword, because according to legend, the St George’s sword killed a dragon.
Yeah, one would think that a dragon slaying sword would be better than one owned by a king.
Man, he killed a dragon with spear, didn't he?
It's only does 3 less slash damage but does far more stabbing damage than Herod's sword so one could argue St Georges a better all round weapon. Especially if you stab a lot in your combos.
In high level hardcore play with all maluses enabled, I found stabbing WAY more useful than slashing, even with very high stats slashes and routine changes of direction the slashes got blocked, but stabs were usually successful. To the point that Stinger and other stab-centric blades were often better.
@@Dare_To_Game I'm sorry, but why would you put Herod's sword above St. George's swords when the latter has better stab damage, better defence, better charisma and better weight while dealing only slightly less slash damage and being slightly less durable. St George swords is far better in most stats and whenever it's stats are beaten out by Herod's sword, it does so very marginally.
You get the St. Michael sword after completing the Waldensians quest by sir Hanush
That is true, i recently did that mission again, this time by actually following the directions and not just stabbing the Vicar in the back, and i received it as a reward. Quite the pleasant surprise.
Ok. I was gonna steal Capon's sword but if I get one through Hanush's quests I will hold off I got ALOT of side missions and alot of training to do right now. It is the St. Michaels sword that he has right?
You can also get it in a tournament
lol I got that sword randomly in some grave very early in the game...i was about lvl 7 or 8 and now i m lvl 17 and still use that sword it is just awesome
In the forest upwards Ledečko (sorry idk how to write it in english i can only write it in Czech) you can find the Saint Georges sword
I have been watching your Kingdom Come videos for a while and never comment and haven't subscribed. I just feel like saying, I really appreciate the work you do with these videos.. and the time you take to format them.. If I'm looking for something particular I know where in the video to go. Great work and thank you for being so thorough yet direct, and not having a long drawn out intro. I really do appreciate your effort, you've earned a new fan, and I've subscribed
Bastard sword is any sword that couldn't be classified by modern historians into any specific category, an awl is a large thick and sharp needle used to punch holes through thick leather (e.g. adding a hole to a leather belt)
A bastard sword is similar to a longsword but the shorter hilt allows use with one hand with a shield or "hand-and-a-half" for extra power
Following the death of Jindřich III of Pirkštejn (Henry III of Pirkstein) in 1402, Hanuš of Lipá (in KCD Hanush of Leipa) became the guardian of the former's son, Jan Ptáček (in KCD Hans Capon) and thus the acting governor of the surrounding province. He completed the construction of Pirkstein and its fortifications and the local church of St. Matthew, which contains a shrine to his family.
When Sigismund of Luxembourg invaded and burned Skalice (Skalitz), the town's Burgrave, Racek (Radzig) Kobyla, and the survivors of the raid found refuge with Hanuš. Hanuš subsequently took action against scattered groups of brigands and Cumans.
His relationship with the king was peculiar to say the least, judging by often contradictory sources - it appears that in 1410 crown forces descended on the town of Rataje (Rattay) in Hanuš' domain, probably after he became a robber baron and rebel, who may also have participated in the siege of Jihlava in Moravia. Nevertheless, in 1414 he became a Provincial Marshal and dwelt together with his wife Markéta of Šternberk (Sternberg) at Špilberk in Brno.
herny i feel sorry they made you weak in the game haha.
There's a good Lad.
I am also fairly new to the game just started playing it this year really enjoying it know so far thanks for all the work on the videos very informative
I started playing recently and found how OP mounted combat is (at the cost of shitting yourself when you're caught off your horse) so Piercer has been the most ideal low cost sword for me.
High speed poking beats any number of foes.
For me, that never comes into my thinking much, since i don't use mounted combat very frequently, short of running people down with my howrse, and occasionally shooting my bow from horseback.
Stabs being a lot faster to follow up than slashes following a parry counter will give you a free shot pretty frequently as long as your defense is good. For this reason I used "The Piercer" for more than half of the game until I fou d St George's sword. Once I figured out that if you aim up on the melee aiming reticle during melee combat you can stab in the face instead of the body which is the default stab location. Most armored opponents, even late in the game, wear helmets that leave the face exposed making a high stab straight into the face super valuable since aiming for the head and slashing comes downward and will be negated by most helmets. A quick parry counter followed by a face stab can 1 or 2 hit even some of the strongest enemies in the game.
Every time I hear this super epic voice and then his Kermit voice makes me laugh all the time
I aim to please.
Kermit with a dash of Tina
St George's sword is most reliably found in a hard locked chest in a woodland garden located in northern forest area of ledetchko. It is the best sword damage stat wise.
It can also be looted from the chest containing Sir Hans Capon's CLothing during the next to godliness quest.
I accidentally sold it and have not a fucking clue who I sold it to. Lol
Dare To Game the glitch was patched
Dreams R Lies feelsbadman. I also feel so bad for you because of the Hard Lockpicking
lil memeio why feel bad? Year late so sorry about that 😂
Yes, the tusk is aesthetically identical to the merchant sword.
Yeah, it is.
Sounds like laziness?
@@Joe_FridayI call it role-playing oriented design (Henry uses that weapon in cutscenes and Merchant's Sword is shit)
Queen of sheba sword makes sense to be low durable, its reforged from pieces after all, for someone like me who always has blacksmith kits the durability of a weapon never was a concern.
Either that or its just a merchant's trick to sell at a higher price
@@tugalordMaybe it's a trick to make sure you keep coming back to him for repairs, jokes on him though, I can sharpen my swords myself for free in any grindstone 😂
@@forests.9597 plus, Sheba was à biblical queen from the Old Testament, yet her supposed sword is a longsword (which were made in the middle ages, even the design of the sword is something you would see in the 14-15th century, not the 9th century B.C.
What about the executioner's sword? If, immediately after the message appears that the quest is counted to pick it up from the chest of the executioner, then the quest will take place as usual
For those who dont know, the st Michael's sword isn't found in a chest. It's a quest reward from Sir Hanush.
The St. George's sword cannot be pilfered from Hans Capon anymore. In the latest version of the game he uses a Mercheant's sword. It is still available from a treasure chest near Sasau though.
I've been rocking the piercer for a LONG time, and it is definitely one of my personal favourites!
the piercer makes me lost from black peter or was that because of my low skills, as peter is a great fighter i guess...
Without your videos I wouldn’t even be able to play this game!
Lines are called Fuller's the purpose is to not only strengthen the sword but also lightens the weight.
Yes, i have since learned a lot more about swords. I find it very interesting how swords evolved from ancient times all the way up to the renaissance.
@@Dare_To_Game the channels shadiversity Metatron and skallagrim are good places to start.
@@Dare_To_Game plus I practice fencing and also competed in arms and armor for a while so I would be happy to answer any questions.
I don't mean to be an ass but I was absolutely deflated by Tusk. It looks sooo basic. How does that get 20 charisma over St. Michael's, St. George's and Herod's sword?! I just don't understand.. I really think they should have/should do a DLC for new arms and armour. I spend hours trying to build the perfect kit. There just isn't much end game loot in the form of arms and armour.
Yeah, i think it was a let down to have the one unique melee weapon added in this dlc look so generic. Especially when the inventory icon shows it having a red handle.
The gear, and the fairly trivial ease of access to most of it, is kind of a letdown, and by "kind of" I mean "REALLY", so I not only agree but must be an ass too. Lol
There was so much care put into the game AND the amount of loot available to find and wear, and I think that in and of itself is what makes the end game loot that's mostly obtainable near the start more than a sad letdown.
Yeah I was only level 3 or 4 when I first got full plate armor in Skalitz off of a bandit I literally still had Radzigs sword
@@youngmoney4693 that is quite literally impossible without mods you can't keep Radzigs sword you have to lose it
Nathan Perry I think he means in the prologue, but that still wouldn’t make sense as there are no armoured bandits present outside of runts men who I don’t think you can kill or loot at this stage anyways 🤔
When I saw the picture in the inventory for the Queen of Sheba’s sword I thought this was gonna be an amazing sword. Ornamented blade, fancy cross guard, the full package. I got some knockoff starter sword -_-
I really love the design of the merchant sword ,even though its not the best longsword.
I do think that the simplistic yet visually attractive style/design of the merchant's sword makes it very appealing.
St. George sword should be number since it has a really high stabbing damage.
A leather awl is what you make holes in leather with you can also sew with it.
You can get thr executioners sword also.. I think it's like 79 slashing damage.
The stone in sword 8 is moldivine based on the color and the rareness of the sword
What about Saving Grace? Was that added after this vid?
9:52 i think its on purpose because the sword was rebuilt and like that it lost all its durability. Its like if you break a table and fix it with duct tape.
It's also likely that it was just a shitty sword before being broken, and some merchant quadrupled his $ by saying it belonged to Sheba.
@@ChannelNotFound If you look closely you'll notice that it is aesthetically identical to the soul slicer. Maybe the pilgrim found a broken soul slicer and decided to sell the pieces claiming they were from the Queen of Sheba, which doesn't make sense either since longswords came around the 13th century.
@@ChannelNotFound true
@@Hadras7094 maybe it's all a huge lie
@@tugalord It most likely is.
I found a high damage sword called Longinius. The name is historical. Go back to Scalitz after the intro and I got it off a bandit who was fighting other bandits there...
It's a sword dropped by bandits just like the madgeburg sword, the skalitz skirmishes doesn't reward with a longinus sword every time you attack cumans and bandits, although it's pretty common i found 5 of them
st george swords aren't even that rare, they don't spawn you just need to find the few copies of the swords hidden in kcd, you can find up to three st george swords nowadays
You can also find that sword in a grave north east of Skalitz.
It’s right at the upper egde of the map between the tree line and a small hill (tumulus).
Trying to fight the bandits in Skalitz without plate armor and good weapons is basically suicide.
Skalitiz is a groschen mine for me. I get so rich every time I go there
@@vegetableman3911 how come? Treasures?
I use the St Michael's sword which is a good weapon, I like the look of the Magdeburg sword but I don't remember seeing it for sale.
Guys if you want the st Georges sword you get it at the end of the game when you meet capon,it's in a chest
I got St. Michael's Sword as a gift from Sir Hanush
What? How?
Why I have korean subtitles option in the video?😂
That is a good question, as far as i know, i have two South Korean subscribers, at least according to my analytics, so that does seem strange.
the German BMW line killed me xDDD
Do you (or anyone else) know if longswords are able to be one handed with a shield if your stats are high enough?
I'm going to test it out some when I play again soon but won't have to if I hear otherwise before then.
One other question... The slash and stab are the only two options for combat from what I can tell so, if weapons have blunt damage, how does that work? Is it on top of... or something that needs to be activated and I'm missing something?
the blunt damage is just the rating that the weapon does damage against plate armor, and blocking. The higher the blunt damage, the more strength it takes to block a blow. As for longswords and shields, i've done it, but it doesnt work very well in my opinion.
@@Dare_To_Game Thanks, dude. Now that you explained it, it makes so much sense as to the blunt damage, but I gotta admit I couldn't make heads nor tales of it "til you lit the bulb... Lol
glad i could help.
With longsword and shield you cant do combos so if you really are into sword shield take a short sword. Longsword is for duels or cutting down rebelious peasants. But for war you need mace or hammer.
I don't quite understand why the Herods sword is on 1st place and not St. Georges Sword.
Because this list is top 10 most powerful longswords, not top 10 overall best longswords. Saint George's Sword has a stab rating of 72 and slash rating of 72. Herod's Sword has a stab rating of 45 and a slash rating of 75, making it the most powerful. This list is based solely off of which weapon has the highest damage rating associated with it, Herods is 75, St. George's is 72... 75>72.
@@Dare_To_Game if slash rating is the main, then executioner sword is far better.
NOTE... real combat swords had no jewerly engraved..prob that green thing in magdebourg sword is tinted steel
Could be.
@@Dare_To_Game just think about how hard it to find a sigle emerald that big nowadays with the technology we have... imagine how hard it would be in xv century.
Weapons with jewels were ornamental and just for the looks, not for battle
@@miguelsargas why would you throw away the materials for a real sword making a useless sword? Also those jewels weren't so rare at that time.
Have you done a list for maces or axes?
yes
Yes, i have released a top five for maces and axes in the past, and i will also have a top ten for damage states for each (like this one) coming out in the near future.
I found the “Longinus sword” think that’s how it’s pronounced, it was carried by a random bandit on y free roam return to skallitz, it beats out pretty much every other sword for stab damage.. and I’m a stabber, so naturally Iv used nothing else since.
Well, there are higher damage stabing swords than Longinus sword. St George's sword and the Stinger I can recall. Queen of Sheba's is close too. The slashing is medium for a longsword. I find St George's and Queen of Sheba's to be overall better attackers than Longinus's, although I'd say it is one of the most beautiful and elegant desings.
@@Hadras7094 it also cuts through enemy AT fields like butter!
That's my favorite weapon. Decent stats with simple and elegant apperance. The decorations in St George sword really puts me off. Also, it kinda resembles sir radzig's sword due to the shape of the pommel.
@@rosaleslem great, this comment reminded of the game.. so now I must play 😂
But yes, it’s hands down the best sword.
You should have done slash and stab combined. Also stab>slash in this game so herods sword is not that good
I got st Micheal sword as a reward from sir Hanush after finishing a quest
Notice your speed changes depending on
St michael sword arw from chect and from waldenshia mission also.. u can get it when you complete the mission without killing the vikcar
Duelist is nice because you get to repair it and level your maintenance skill.
You can find the piercer during the first mission Miller peshek gives you. Knock out or kill the executioner and you can find it on him.
"DETERMINATOR GAMING" ?? When did you switch it to mean Dare To Game?
Not sure, about a year ago maybe, just figured it was easier to remember.
What about the Executioner sword?
I kept using the Magdeburg over the St. Michael's sword simply because of the higher durability and defense.
Queen of Shebas sword is just a wall hanger. Great list, You forgot Longinus' Sword though.
That is true about QOS sword, and yes, i realized the day after uploading this video that i had forgotten that sword when i was ambushed by a single well-armored bandit on my way to Skalitz, and when i looted his body i found it, and was imediately aware of my mistake.
@@Dare_To_Game what mistake?
That he didn't add Longinus's Sword to this list. I personally have never looted an enemy with it, but found it in a grave. Although I did recently pick up a 2nd one after a came across a mini battle between like 8 guys...I just watched them kill each other and looted all the bodies. Now I have 2
@@HurriShane00 Oh. I found the Longinus Sword in the chest too, so early in game that I thought that every item in the game is unlimited and I can get it back if I wanted to , so I sold it. Same for the Warhorse Armor, Capons bow and Henrys green Starting clothes. I was stoopid.
@@Zemar16 yeah Warhorse armor isn't even worth selling. It's not worth anything money wise. Alot if armor is unlimited that you find off dead guys. But certain things like the Longinus seird is more rare.
I wonder if you can find more than one sword on this list.
I got piercer right at the beginning of the game and used it all the way until epilogue
3 secs on Google late, an awl is a tool for poking holes in leather, also woman and footpads used this as a makeshift dagger 🤘
When these swords are at full durability and not bloody, they are the best looking swords out of every game in my opinion
Agreed. The weapons in KCD are better looking than any other medieval game i've ever played.
My duelist hasn't been been lower than 92 in all the fights I have been in carry a blacksmith tool kit and repair it after every fight. You should do that anyways always maintain your weapon.
Yeah, as long as you keep an eye on the duelist, its really good.
Lol the Pervert Sword....
Like that,do ya?
@@Dare_To_Game DAMN YEAH !! LOL
I disagree with your measure of damage. You should be balancing out Slash and Stab to get a mean damage for the overall performance of the blade.
Subscribed. Mainly due to you nearly calling the "Pricker", the "Pervert".
thats a quality reason for a subscribe
What's wrong with some of the textures?
That green gem in sword number 8 is a Moldavite I think. 😉 Thanks for the video.
I think this video was recorded on PS4
@@Dare_To_Game ah I see. Thanks for clarifying it.
St Michaels sword can also be acquired by repeating the rattay tourney
Yep, it sure can.
St george sword is balanced in stab and slash and powerful in both I think it deserves first place
I found a 75 stab and 75 slash damage sword at sasau, also I found a 90 slash and 56 stab damage Herod's sword at Rattay.
Are you sure those swords exist? The damage value on the info pop up shows the damage done at minimum level requirements, which means that at higher level, practically you'll always do more damage. This last value is displayed on your character's side of the screen. I can't say for sure but my executioner's sword deals 108 slash damage. That's taking the base damage + the additional levels of strength.
where can i get the herod's sword?
It can be bought/Stolen at The Rattay Sword Shop.
@@Dare_To_Game thank you
Best sword depends on your fighting style Stab, Slash, or Blunt also your build 👌🏼
Where is my favourite Longinus´ sword? Probably one of the top 3 swords in a whole game imo.
Do a horse armor video
I have, in fact done one, it is available on my channel. Hope that helps.
Where Is executioners sword with 79 Slash damage?
What about saving grace
I have 2.5k groschen what longsword do i get?
Anyone?
Are your graphics on lowest setting? They look awful.
This is on standard PS4, the graphics look bad because the gamma was set way too high.
Clearly your game settings are somewhere between a 1986 IBM and a calculator.
Its a narrow window.
The Dualist is one of the better longswords at 70 stab and slash dmg
The Duelist is an excellent weapon. My only gripe with it, is the low durability.
Duellist for the win
Bro y does everyone s**t on duelist it was my first longsword and to this day it’s lowkey still one of my favorites
Did anyone notice that he had 998k grocen? HOW
Not sure you should've ranked purely by their highest damage stat
I also have one that uses a multiple factor ranking system, but a lot of people had problems with it, so this one goes by highest damage.
Right now I use the duelest
But what about the exacutnior sword that you have to sabotage in money for old ropes I think the quest was called its a longsword it deals 97 slash and only 36 stab dmg for me
I want to use that sword so bad, but there is no audio when blocking hits for me, as well as no blood ever showing up on the blade. You can definitely tell we weren't supposed to acquire it lol.
@@xClintBeastwood There are a few inconsistencies with this sword. The sword gets bloody, but there's no texture for it so the blood never shows up, the programmers didn't think about it. The sword doesn't have a scabbard, it just hangs from your side, like every hunting sword or saber, but not like any other longsword. The mercy kill animation that usually plays with longswords doesn't make sense here, since the sword doesn't have a point. It also doesn't make sense how it deals 6 blunt damage while the proddler deals 11, with the executioner's being way thicker and bulkier. It only requires 7 strength to use, while Queen of Sheba's and St George's require more, while being obviously lighter. A sword like that was not thought for combat so using it would require more strength and dexterity.
But I think they actually wanted the sword to be useful. If they really wanted it to not be usable they would have just made it a unequipable quest item. If only had they implemented it better...
@@Hadras7094 Yea I totally agree. It is a super unique weapon. I wish they would spend more time on it because it looks very nice. Until then however, it will probably just sit in my storage chest gathering dust. I could live without the blood and scabbard, but the no audio for me is an issue. It makes it difficult to tell whether I actually got hit or not when going for perfect blocks/ regular blocks.
@@xClintBeastwood Strange. I have no issues with the audio. What platform do you play in?
@@Hadras7094 I have the game on Xbox One X and PC and have experienced the audio issue on both platforms about 2 years apart. I was playing vanilla on pc also.
Whenever you swing at an enemy and it hits their weapon, there is sound. But whenever they swing at me and I block, there is no sound whatsoever.
Where is the executioner sword?
Presumably still in the possession of the executioner. In this playthrough i had yet to do money for old rope, so i didn't think of that sword.
@@Dare_To_Game the executioner sword actually has the highest slash damage in the game, higher than Herod's
Btw St.George is better than Herod's sword. Also it's perfectly balanced.
As all things should be.
@@Elydir You're a man of culture as well?

Nothing that looks like a spatha, unless you use a mod, but there might be something that could pass for an ulfberth, i can't say for sure.
@@Dare_To_Game ok
Herod’s sword beheaded John the Baptist and that was cruel but St. George’s sword is a literal dragon slaying weapon
Waaaait... what about Sir Radzig's Sword? I know it's scripted for you to lose it, but if you use it in the game, technically it counts, right?
Duellist was my main for alot of the game, it is a great option in my opinion
If he can't tell the difference between haters and fans...He is the perfect youtuber
The Magdeburg sword is my fav ascetically for sure.
I have been using the Queen of Sheba sword. i went through hell to get it so I was gonna use it...Until i realize now that it only has a 10 durability...I never even noticed. I always look at the damage, not the durability..
Alittle surprised the Longinus' Sword isn't on this list. It's really great piece and is very obtainable VERY early on in the game...You just have to find it...lol
SPOILER...it's in a Grave North of Skalitz, Just west of the house near the top of the Map along the tree line near a HUGE mound in a field.
As far as the Magdeburg sword is concerned, i agree, i love the look of that sword. As far as Longinus' sword is concerned, i know, after i posted this video, i realized that i had forgotten longinus' sword almost immediately.
I wonder if they attached it to a necessary quest since I (think) I found that grave and spent over an hour trying in vain to dig it up, even reloading earlier saves and losing progress thinking it was glitched.
Dreams R Lies nope, it seems to spawn randomly around skallitz, mine came from the bandit fight that sometimes happens in skallitz 👍🏻
Wanderingwalker 1990 there’s some bandits in skalitz that have it but there’s also a grave north of skalitz and west of a roe hunting spot
i thought St George's sword was the best
Lol not sure if u said it but u can steal Herrod's sword from the blacksmith in the beginning in Rattay, im seriosly thinkin bout it though will get banned from the city for a good while i suppose, and oh well not sensible to steal till u get 10 strenght anyhootz.. 😄
I use a halberd starting with letter G.
The grooves set in a sword were to channel blood into them to provide better grip when half swording to peirce armor
For all of the legwork that you have to do to get access to and buy the Queen of Sheba sword it is a sadly plain looking blade. Not really worth it at all from an aesthetic point-of-view, but nice enough I suppose if you like the idea of Henry carrying around a "sleeper" weapon. Not to mention that if you're at all weak at swordplay it will practically shatter the first time you cross blades with someone on the road.
Wait where is Longinus’ Sword? It’s a direct upgrade to the Piercer, better stab and slash. I would remove Pricker and put Piercer there, and then Longinus’ in the #3 it is the best stab sword in the game. And also I would have fit in Fearnot in the #10 spot. For this damage were you adding together the slash, stab and blunt bonuses? Because then Herod’s sword goes down below St. George’s, Longinus’, and is nearly tied with St Michael’s. In combat you do both attacks but simply favor one or the other. I am sure most people’s damage averages to like a 60/40 depending on the slash/stab favor of the individual player. So for this list you should have added together all three bonuses since the blunt damage still hits on a slash attack.
Where is Longinus. It has 68 stab and 55 slash.
Executioner's sword 79
I did a special video comparing the Executioner's Sword.
Ive been using assassin forever very cheap good sword surprised doesnt make top 10
i use the duelist! is fine for me
Its a pretty good sword, only downside is durability.
Just David there’s one in rattay upper castle. go to the stairs to the dining hall but take a right to a hard locked door. there’s some sleeping guards in there so be stealthy and lock pick all the chests. i found a duelist in one of them. i think it was on the second floor
St George is better, it has a much better stab and only a little worse slash, it also has better defense and charisma.
You can barely stab a sausage with Herrod's sword...St Geoerge's all day long the no,1
0:20 i have to say this game nailed the realism, especially with textures.
Considering that melee combat is trash even when it works when intended, skills and perks are far more important then any particular weapon you are using.
Why there are no fucking Polearms in this game? :/
There are. You just can't store them, buy them, or sell them.
@@Dare_To_Game yes of course . but why we dont have a skilltree for them?
The highest damage is a shit method for judging the best sword. The Herod is high damage, but no the duelist is way better it does 62 slash and stab, while the Herod does like 75 slash and 40 some stab, which by the way is pretty shit.
It depends how much you slash or stab, if you only ever spam stabbing, then that would be the stat to aim for.
@@Dare_To_Game not really, with 62 slash and 62 stab, you have a pretty balanced weapon. The herod on the other hand is great at slashing with 75 damage, but when it comes to stabbing, at 45 damage, it's only good for distance management.
