I would never get a Neverfull. The lack of a zip is a no-go living in a city. It feels like every one has one, too. I once got to the airport extra early, so I had to sit around and wait for my flight. In two hours, I saw *8* Neverfulls of various prints walk by me.
i just went looking through the comments in hopes to find something to this effect. I traveled over the summer and counted about 13 in 3 hours at the airport LOL!
Everyone swears they are the best travel bag but I cannot stand the open top!!! Instead I have a large supple leather understated FURLA Luce tote with a zipper, feet, long strap drop, that functions for work and travel. I’d recc that 100%! I do have a DE speedy B and it’s a great dump bag, secure, can wear in the rain without stress!

I inherited a lot of my late mother's classic LV's, so they hold a special place in my heart. Could you do a review/opinion piece on lesser known, high-end brands such as Boyy, Acne Studios, etc.? You have such great taste and would greatly value your opinion. Keep up the good work.
Agree: Versace, Chloe, Bulgari, Gucci Marmont. Neither or: Valentino and new Celine bags. I still like some of the rock stud bags, they not so obliviously branded. Some of the new Celine bags are ok, good for those looking for something a bit different, but would not buy myself. Disagree: Louis Vuitton. If you are not into the canvas bags, the epi leather is a very good option, the quality is very good! Although many people think the entry level LV bags are very “basic”, however in Norway you also see a lot of tacky ladies wearing for example Chanel and Celine bags. I think it’s a matter of how you carry the bag yourself.

I agree on everything with an exception of Valentino. I have only one bag from this brand. It's a Rockstud clutch in metallic and this bag getting more compliments than any other bag from my collection. Even more than my favorite Lady Dior... But there is a time and place for this bag. I wearing it on my nights out , to casino, clubs etc...And I should say that quality is not bad at all.
My first and only luxury bag purchase (Nov 2019) was a LV Neonoe. I liked the idea of buying into the history of luxury that this brand represents. (I also bought the book 100 Legendary Trunks which I highly recommend for an exceptional coffee table book that provides the most interesting anecdotal history of the brand plus amazing pictures.) I decided against the tote and speedy for the reasons you mention. Great video!
Apart from a couple of luggage-y type items, I think I'm done with LV for several reasons. I am LOVING Saint Laurent at the moment, but I really find Céline & Chloé styles to be a bit... dull, but that might be the reason they're a good wardrobe staple? As you say, it's a case of personal taste & preference. Please keep sharing yours with us, I find your videos enlightening and give me pause for thought! 👍🏼😘
I actually loooove Valentino Garavani handbags. I have three, two with lambskin and one with calfskin. The lambskin on Valentino is so much more durable than Chanel's. My Valentino beltbag (from Spike Stud collection) has been used a lot last year for festivals and it still looks new.
Preach about the Neverfulls and Speedys! Living in LA everyone has one so I went for the Croisette. Also 100% agree about the new Celine...on principle it's hard to like any of it. Would LOVE a full Old Celine collection video from you of items you either had and sold, or still have and wear! I've been wanting to get some Celine bags but I fear they're going to go up even more on resale now that Phoebe Philo is rumored to have a new sustainable brand in the works!
Chloe is actually my favorite house, but I do tend to like the older styles that have more of the boho style...Marcie line, Hayley, Drew. I haven't been so much into the newer styles especially the C logo styles.
I just bought my first designer bag and it was a Louis Vuitton. It was a discipline saving for it and a happy accomplishment when I could purchase. It is true what you say, we all have our particular tastes and goals for what we purchase.

💯 agree - never been into Chloe or Versace, just not my aesthetic. I made an impulsive Valentino purchase last year (velvet rockstud bag) and I’m still quite conflicted about it. 🤔 Gucci marmont - no thank you. I bought the super mini Gucci marmont bag but the quality was poor and I quickly realized the marmont Collection is not for me so I returned right away. Now I’m much more discerning about what I buy. I do love Louis Vuitton but will never get the Neverfull! The only LV bag I have and enjoy is my Pochette Métis!! 😊 And Celine 💕 from Phoebe Philo days. 😘 I see the Bvlgari snakehead bag everywhere now - it must be the latest IT bag. It is not Gucci’s fault that the Marmont is over saturated. That just speaks to Gucci being able to create a design that spoke to the majority despite the high end price. Also goes for LV. I was a distant admirer of them but thought too much hype for the price until after 8 years of a friend having the bag and wore it to death and STILL looked nice and held up with no major visible wear and tear is when I became a first time buyer and believer in the brand. Tell me another bag in the entry level price range as a speedy that will hold up as good and is iconic? Seriously. If it exists, please share.
Totally agree. I have bags from a few designers like LV, Chanel, YSL... the Louis Vuitton bags are the most durable ones BY FAR. I have a Speedy as my work bag... and I'm not really careful with it. Even after all these years of nearly daily use, it looks almost new. No major wear and tear
Comment about Porsche bag was so on point but I need to admit that Serpenti looks so classy and luxurious, I think its a great mixture of jewelry, art and practicality. I wouldn't buy but I need to admit they did great job and created beautiful style! LV Speedy is one of my favorites, so retro and travel inspired, I always feel super special carring it but I understand its everywhere so people can mind it. I also find Chanel in crazy colors so tacky and cheap looking, sorry for saying it, Chanel looks classy only in neutrals in my opinion. Great video, its always nice to hear your point of view!
Thanks for this video, you have reminded me to listen to my intuition; basically I don’t like the Valentino and Celine logos, I’m over the marmont too, yet on a design basis, Chanel, I’m not tired to looking at it, so that must means the gg marmont design just wasn’t timeless enough. I love their soho disco though, still looks good.
I love my Soho disco, too! When I bought it they've just started releasing marmont line and I remember they sales associate was trying to convince me to buy the marmont. Glad I didn't fall for the trend, Soho line is more classic.
I couldn’t agree with you more with Chloé I own the Faye Small Bracelet Bag in Motty Gray and I really like it. Not only because of the price is not as high as getting a real bag. This one is more like a clutch though, it only holds a few things but that’s my style. Also it has a mix of metals gold and silver and it’s versatile. I wear it casual during day or as a clutch at night. Versace I have nothing to say I just would never spend my money on anything from them because it’s not me. Valentino I feel the same way, I’d get YSL instead. Gucci, sadly is over done ugh! LV... I got myself Tom Ford tote and I love it. Better then having the logo print all over the bag. YSL tote is great option too! Your Céline tote is beautiful by the way. I love the Celine Cabas tote and got it for my bday lash year in black!:).. I also have neverfull which I love, but then Celine is so elegant and classic and more “if you know you know” kinda of bag... it’s nice to hear someone mention it:) Also agree about Valentino...And also for me Balenciaga... just to I dunno 🤷🏼♀️ lol ... great video💕
My two Celine bags have worn well - I dont wear them all the time - as i have many to rotate and have been trying to be better at that lol - the leather smells great still and is looking good - i think all how u care for it - it’s a beautiful bag I’m not afraid to use it but I also don’t over use it- if that makes sense lol - hope this was helpful - my friend has a few to tbey all look good :)

Completely agree with all your points in this video except for Bulgari. Here's my point: I wholeheartedly agree with your overall point about brands going into fields they don't know nothing about just to expand their portfolio and make money off the name, however, this particular Serpenti bag is the exception for me. Don't know if they do other style bags, don't care to be honest, but this one is a classic already, when you see it - it's unmistakable, it stands on its own, is not overly done, they have added the jewelry aspect so well in the snake head and chains not to lose their heritage, it constantly evolves with new colors and patterns. If chosen correctly, it looks like a piece of art. In my mind it is an exceptional evening or special occasion bag, which is actually hard to find; would not buy it for throw-all-my-crap-in-run-errands daytime. And Saint Laurent bags are amazing for that price range, especially the ones with minimal logo like Bellechasse, totes, Carre etc. The quality is up there for sure. Great video, would love to see one about shoes as well.
I own a bulgari serpenti bag, and it is the highest quality bag I own. The hardware is so impeccable, you can tell someone with a jeweler’s eye designed it.
Leather bags are too heavy and LV canvas bags are easy to use and despite some styles have been so popular, they are popular for a reason and LV is pushing more leather bags as they carry much steeper price points
Totally agree with your analysis of the luxury brand handbags. I would never buy LV bags, in US- too many women and girls wear them ( they are just not luxurious appearing at all). I do own some of the older Salvatore Ferragamo handbags and love them.
Great video Evelyn but I'm a bit confused as to your stance on new Celine. Is it basically that you would never buy from Slimane Celine out of moral principle, even if a design really appealed to you? Would you consider going back to Celine under a new creative director? Basically, is it more the aesthetic direction that Celine has taken that is throwing you off, or Slimane himself and the drama surrounding his takeover?

I believe that`s why Bottega Veneta is so popular right now - kind of an anti trend movement. However, I do like the Bulgari Serpenti. It is quite elegant and not so over exposed on social media. Great Video! I agree with opinions! I really have a dislike for Valentino & Versace bag (for myself) they just don’t do it for me. Chloe bags are a tad boring (maybe more boho style I’m not sure) I own a Gucci Marmont top handle which I love because it’s so easy. But I do admit it’s not exactly anything amazing. I do think the marmont was a good avenue to take verses their old GG monogram everywhere. Louis Vuitton has some great pieces (Capucines wow 🤩)but they aren’t the mainstream or monogram bags either. Those bags aren’t terrible. Just a different fashion sense.

I felt that it is so trendy and their newer designs is not pretty. The marmont logo and bag with the quilting looks so much like a Northface down jacket! Just my personal opinion. My speedy is perfect everyday bag, however I don’t wear it for evening events. I like the look of the LV canvas. I wouldn’t buy anything else from LV, because the quality is not there. Some brands you only buy coated canvas, while others offer great quality leather bags. I say, buy what fits your taste. I will never buy anything fake! Every major handbag from Coach to Hermes all have dupes. I know mine is real, so I don’t care how another person is carrying theirs.
I agreed with you on almost every single point :) I did buy the Bulgari serpenti bag recently. This is just me (and I don't mind anyone feeling differently). I fell in love the moment I tried it on, but I was almost completely turned off by all the influencer marketing spam. It was way overdone, and I think it cheapened the bag as if it wasn't good enough to stand on its own. However, have you ever tried on a bag just feels effortless, like it just fits as an extension of you rather than something you have to lug around? That's how I felt on the slim serpenti bag. I have to stand up for Gucci and Chloe. I have several accessories for each of these brands and their quality is always surprisingly high, even when compared with other designer brands. And although like you, I am disturbed by the fact that everyone is wearing the Gucci belt, I wear it on very often, because it is just very comfortable in everyday wear (and it looks great all the time, the leather condition has not changed from the date of purchase). And Chloe bags? I don't like them all (especially from the years 2019-20), but they are very well designed in terms of practicality. They are great to wear every day.
Oh and I wanted to say to You, Eveline, that when I saw You, thought: what a beautiful silk, it must be Theory blouse. I bougtht one (cream colour) about a month ago and now I know that the quality is there!

Fashiophiile has some of them but they are still expensive. What do you think about Balenciaga everyday tote in small? I like the one that is more horizontal then vertical. It has logo on the top or middle I am kinda obsessed with adding white bag to my collection and it would be amazing bag for the summer.

I totally agree with all of your opinions. The only exception is the gucci marmont. I have a belt bag in this style. I don't wear it very often but I kinda like the look. Although you're totally right that it is completely overhyped. I would personally never buy a chanel handbag. For me its an overpriced grandmother bag:-) I love, love, love my small and medium Loewe puzzle bags. These are the most practical, stylish and unique bags. I so agree with you Evelyn! The more I watch your videos the more I want to be more selective when purchasing my luxury items. As I matter of fact I ended up selling my LV Favorite PM on Vestiaire for a pretty good price, and I don't miss it at all for as strange as it may seems, being that for the longest time it has been one of my favorite bags. But you are so right, some brands are just everywhere, and you see everybody wearing a LV or a Gucci bag and a lot of them are fake. Now I am on the hunt for a new bag. Agree with you. I love new versace bags as a holiday to warm/latin country but not sure i'd wear in uk...currently vert much into mulberry. Not going for LV as think not as attractive bags as under marc Jacob while canvas are ocerpriced. Love chanel boy but also think chanel is far too overpriced

Let's be honest here. We wear our designer bags for other people. Louis Vuitton, especially their monogram bags, are the most recognized bags in the world. Celine, no matter how beautiful, is only known by people who are really, really into bags and, because Celine constantly changes their designs, not even by them. Most people have never heard of Celine. So, given all that, I would rather have a "common, entry level" bag from Louis Vuitton, than a Celine bag any day.

Als ich dann allerdings im Laden stand, fiel mein Blick auf die On My Side in grün und beige und ich konnte meinen Blick nicht mehr abwenden. Hab sie dann gekauft. Für mich die schönste Tasche, die es gibt.
i loved Valentino when Sg. Valentino designed himself & still have bags from that era, the quality is amazing especially the embellished bags. On contrary i don't like Maria Grazia's designs, so i stopped buying Valentino for a while & same goes for Dior.. I agree with Gucci, Versace, LV, Celine & BVLGARI, new Burberry should be added to that list as well! What happened to Burberry is a disaster..i used to buy a lot of their classics, now their designs look like Off White.. I must admit i own big LV collection, but i got most of those pieces in the early-mid 2000s. Looking at LV prices today & becoming sort of "mass product" i can't believe people are buying it, if you could buy more original, full leather & better quality bags from other brands.. In my opinion people should really be looking into smaller, more exclusive or younger brands.
Never liked LV. Chanel and Dior will always be my favorites. My first designer handbag was the city bag, the second was the chloe marcie. On the fence about a valentino spike bag. Otherwise agree w all of these. But I cant just buy Chanel and Dior forever!
I agree with every point said! LV Speedy and Neverfull are so into your face basically everywhere that it doesn’t have the vibe of “luxury” any more. There is not a day passed without seeing someone to carry one of those bags. As for Valentino, I’m sincerely surprised why some ppl still buy their rockstud bags... It’s such a boring design (not a classic by any means) that had its time 5-6 years ago... Celine... yes, a big big disappointment. There is nothing innovative and and appealing in the current collections. Old ideas with poor execution and a lack of creativity. Such a shame to lose a great brand...
Ppl buy Valentino Rockstuds because: 1) They are great bags ( especially the metallic ones) for certain occasions - nights out, clubbing etc... 2) Ppl find them beautiful... 3) They already became a classic to the brand.. 4) You don't see them on every corner like LVs... JMO
If a thousand dollars bag makes you happy, it worth it. As long as you afford it without struggling with your budget. I did not like LV and even thought it's stupid to buy one. Now I own 2, and I know why people like it. It's very light weight, much lighter than any of my other leather bags. Leather is nice but heavy. The brand name logos make people feel good to carry and own. But, always a BUT, most people who own Logo are not supposed to have them, and because of these people, the brands degraded, for many reasons.
I still love my Gucci Marmont belts and bags but honestly, seeing everyone carrying them have ruined it for me. It is a shame. I have considered selling them but I can't seem to let them go. Maybe I will use them again in a few years when we stop seeing them everywhere we look haha.
I do love my Gucci marmont bag as well and I really don't get, why a black handbag with golden GG will at one point go out of style but a black handbag with golden CC never will. I also really like the quality.
I have many Gucci belts. One with big logo and it's a large width belt and a dinosaurus belt that not much seen and s huge bee belt, jewelry belt. If you choose something unusual then yo Will avoid that problem. Dress up different than other people, style in different way then you will look unique, trust me look at how the models dress up. Be daring, copy what you see in their runway or when you buy, see how the models put things together. That's why designers do runway every seasons to advertise their products. Don't waste your precious stuffs in the closet and don't feel bad. I use my stuffs and stylings, feeling so do so good. I wonder why people spend lots of money for logo and wearing them with sweet pants and hoody jackets and flip flops. Models don't dress like that or the brand would go bankrupt. Who wants to buy? Use it my Dear, the way model do, not the regular ordinary people dress. Make yourself special with your special expensive Logo brand and you will be very special and happy with lots compliments every time. ❤️
I have never liked the LV monogram. I think they look like an old mans toiletry bag. They are in a faul shade of brown...canvas that does not hold the shape of the bag. It gets dents very easily. And everyone have one, or even 10 bags in the same monogram and color in different styles...WHY?
I have one Valentino Glam-lock bag and I love it but I agree with you on the new designs and the Chloé and Gucci bags (trendy and not classics in my opinion). Also, I personally dont like the Bulgari bags (a bit tacky for my taste) and the LV monogram. Loved the video ♥️

I feel the same way about Burberry as you do about Céline. I cannot stand the new creative director for Burberry. I think in the effort of modernizing, and updating a classic and iconic brand, they complete trashed the name of Burberry. I use to love everything they did, from the coats to the bags to their shoes, now when I go to make my list, I hate practically everything I see. It’s not practical, it doesn’t work for the brand and I hate it. I want my old Burberry back.

I do not care for the huge logo trend. Screaming logos degrade the bag and the wearer of it. How sad quality has been declining with cheap production.

My first and only luxury bag purchase (Nov 2019) was a LV Neonoe. I liked the idea of buying into the history of luxury that this brand represents. (I also bought the book 100 Legendary Trunks which I highly recommend for an exceptional coffee table book that provides the most interesting anecdotal history of the brand plus amazing pictures.) I decided against the tote and speedy for the reasons you mention. Great video!

Apart from a couple of luggage-y type items, I think I'm done with LV for several reasons. I am LOVING Saint Laurent at the moment, but I really find Céline & Chloé styles to be a bit... dull, but that might be the reason they're a good wardrobe staple? As you say, it's a case of personal taste & preference. Please keep sharing yours with us, I find your videos enlightening and give me pause for thought! 👍🏼😘
I actually loooove Valentino Garavani handbags. I have three, two with lambskin and one with calfskin. The lambskin on Valentino is so much more durable than Chanel's. My Valentino beltbag (from Spike Stud collection) has been used a lot last year for festivals and it still looks new.

Chloe is actually my favorite house, but I do tend to like the older styles that have more of the boho style...Marcie line, Hayley, Drew. I haven't been so much into the newer styles especially the C logo styles.

💯 agree - never been into Chloe or Versace, just not my aesthetic. I made an impulsive Valentino purchase last year (velvet rockstud bag) and I’m still quite conflicted about it. 🤔 Gucci marmont - no thank you. I bought the super mini Gucci marmont bag but the quality was poor and I quickly realized the marmont Collection is not for me so I returned right away. Now I’m much more discerning about what I buy. I do love Louis Vuitton but will never get the Neverfull! The only LV bag I have and enjoy is my Pochette Métis!! 😊 And Celine 💕 from Phoebe Philo days. 😘 I see the Bvlgari snakehead bag everywhere now - it must be the latest IT bag. As I get older, I feel I gravitate away from trends and stick to classics that work for me. Thanks for another great video!! 👍

It is not Gucci’s fault that the Marmont is over saturated. That just speaks to Gucci being able to create a design that spoke to the majority despite the high end price. Also goes for LV. I was a distant admirer of them but thought too much hype for the price until after 8 years of a friend having the bag and wore it to death and STILL looked nice and held up with no major visible wear and tear is when I became a first time buyer and believer in the brand. Tell me another bag in the entry level price range as a speedy that will hold up as good and is iconic? Seriously. If it exists, please share.
Totally agree. I have bags from a few designers like LV, Chanel, YSL... the Louis Vuitton bags are the most durable ones BY FAR. I have a Speedy as my work bag... and I'm not really careful with it. Even after all these years of nearly daily use, it looks almost new. No major wear and tear

Comment about Porsche bag was so on point but I need to admit that Serpenti looks so classy and luxurious, I think its a great mixture of jewelry, art and practicality. I wouldn't buy but I need to admit they did great job and created beautiful style! LV Speedy is one of my favorites, so retro and travel inspired, I always feel super special carring it but I understand its everywhere so people can mind it. I also find Chanel in crazy colors so tacky and cheap looking, sorry for saying it, Chanel looks classy only in neutrals in my opinion. Great video, its always nice to hear your point of view!
Thanks for this video, you have reminded me to listen to my intuition; basically I don’t like the Valentino and Celine logos, I’m over the marmont too, yet on a design basis, Chanel, I’m not tired to looking at it, so that must means the gg marmont design just wasn’t timeless enough. I love their soho disco though, still looks good.
I love my Soho disco, too! When I bought it they've just started releasing marmont line and I remember they sales associate was trying to convince me to buy the marmont. Glad I didn't fall for the trend, Soho line is more classic.
I purchased my neverfull for around 700 in 2012. I sold it later that year. It’s just not luxurious to me.

I own the Faye Small Bracelet Bag in Motty Gray and I really like it. Not only because of the price is not as high as getting a real bag. This one is more like a clutch though, it only holds a few things but that’s my style. Also it has a mix of metals gold and silver and it’s versatile. I wear it casual during day or as a clutch at night. Versace I have nothing to say I just would never spend my money on anything from them because it’s not me. Valentino I feel the same way, I’d get YSL instead. Gucci, sadly is over done ugh! LV... I got myself Tom Ford tote and I love it. Better then having the logo print all over the bag. YSL tote is great option too! Your Céline tote is beautiful by the way. Bvlgari...it’s funny I have the exact same bag that you posted 😂 and Cartier yes yes even Tiffany & Co. are making bags 🙄

My two Celine bags have worn well - I dont wear them all the time - as i have many to rotate and have been trying to be better at that lol - the leather smells great still and is looking good - i think all how u care for it - it’s a beautiful bag I’m not afraid to use it but I also don’t over use it- if that makes sense lol - hope this was helpful - my friend has a few to tbey all look good :)

Completely agree with all your points in this video except for Bulgari. Here's my point: I wholeheartedly agree with your overall point about brands going into fields they don't know nothing about just to expand their portfolio and make money off the name, however, this particular Serpenti bag is the exception for me. Don't know if they do other style bags, don't care to be honest, but this one is a classic already, when you see it - it's unmistakable, it stands on its own, is not overly done, they have added the jewelry aspect so well in the snake head and chains not to lose their heritage, it constantly evolves with new colors and patterns. If chosen correctly, it looks like a piece of art. In my mind it is an exceptional evening or special occasion bag, which is actually hard to find; would not buy it for throw-all-my-crap-in-run-errands daytime.
And Saint Laurent bags are amazing for that price range, especially the ones with minimal logo like Bellechasse, totes, Carre etc. The quality is up there for sure.

I own a bulgari serpenti bag, and it is the highest quality bag I own. The hardware is so impeccable, you can tell someone with a jeweler’s eye designed it.

Leather bags are too heavy and LV canvas bags are easy to use and despite some styles have been so popular, they are popular for a reason and LV is pushing more leather bags as they carry much steeper price points

Totally agree with your analysis of the luxury brand handbags. I would never buy LV bags, in US- too many women and girls wear them ( they are just not luxurious appearing at all). I do own some of the older Salvatore Ferragamo handbags and love them.

Is it basically that you would never buy from Slimane Celine out of moral principle, even if a design really appealed to you? Would you consider going back to Celine under a new creative director? I agree with opinions! I really have a dislike for Valentino & Versace bag (for myself) they just don’t do it for me. Chloe bags are a tad boring (maybe more boho style I’m not sure)
I own a Gucci Marmont top handle which I love because it’s so easy. But I do admit it’s not exactly anything amazing. I do think the marmont was a good avenue to take verses their old GG monogram everywhere.
Louis Vuitton has some great pieces (Capucines wow 🤩)but they aren’t the mainstream or monogram bags either.
Those bags aren’t terrible. Just a different fashion sense.

My speedy is perfect everyday bag, however I don’t wear it for evening events. I like the look of the LV canvas. I wouldn’t buy anything else from LV, because the quality is not there. Some brands you only buy coated canvas, while others offer great quality leather bags. I say, buy what fits your taste. I will never buy anything fake! Every major handbag from Coach to Hermes all have dupes. I know mine is real, so I don’t care how another person is carrying theirs.
I agreed with you on almost every single point :) I did buy the Bulgari serpenti bag recently. This is just me (and I don't mind anyone feeling differently). I fell in love the moment I tried it on, but I was almost completely turned off by all the influencer marketing spam. It was way overdone, and I think it cheapened the bag as if it wasn't good enough to stand on its own. However, have you ever tried on a bag just feels effortless, like it just fits as an extension of you rather than something you have to lug around? That's how I felt on the slim serpenti bag. I have to stand up for Gucci and Chloe. I have several accessories for each of these brands and their quality is always surprisingly high, even when compared with other designer brands. And although like you, I am disturbed by the fact that everyone is wearing the Gucci belt, I wear it on very often, because it is just very comfortable in everyday wear (and it looks great all the time, the leather condition has not changed from the date of purchase). And Chloe bags? I don't like them all (especially from the years 2019-20), but they are very well designed in terms of practicality. They are great to wear every day.
Oh and I wanted to say to You, Eveline, that when I saw You, thought: what a beautiful silk, it must be Theory blouse. I bougtht one (cream colour) about a month ago and now I know that the quality is there!

Fashiophiile has some of them but they are still expensive. What do you think about Balenciaga everyday tote in small? I like the one that is more horizontal then vertical. It has logo on the top or middle I am kinda obsessed with adding white bag to my collection and it would be amazing bag for the summer.

I totally agree with all of your opinions. The only exception is the gucci marmont. I have a belt bag in this style. I don't wear it very often but I kinda like the look. Although you're totally right that it is completely overhyped. I would personally never buy a chanel handbag. For me its an overpriced grandmother bag:-) I love, love, love my small and medium Loewe puzzle bags. These are the most practical, stylish and unique bags. I wear it for many years and love it every day.

I so agree with you Evelyn! The more I watch your videos the more I want to be more selective when purchasing my luxury items. As I matter of fact I ended up selling my LV Favorite PM on Vestiaire for a pretty good price, and I don't miss it at all for as strange as it may seems, being that for the longest time it has been one of my favorite bags. But you are so right, some brands are just everywhere, and you see everybody wearing a LV or a Gucci bag and a lot of them are fake. Now I am on the hunt for a new bag. I really like the Celine cabas tote but I guess the old model can only be found on the preloved market. Anyways, I love this video! Agree with you. I love new versace bags as a holiday to warm/latin country but not sure i'd wear in uk...currently vert much into mulberry. Not going for LV as think not as attractive bags as under marc Jacob while canvas are ocerpriced. Love chanel boy but also think chanel is far too overpriced

Let's be honest here. We wear our designer bags for other people. Louis Vuitton, especially their monogram bags, are the most recognized bags in the world. Celine, no matter how beautiful, is only known by people who are really, really into bags and, because Celine constantly changes their designs, not even by them. Most people have never heard of Celine. So, given all that, I would rather have a "common, entry level" bag from Louis Vuitton, than a Celine bag any day.
I feel the same about LV! Starting my deep dive into luxury research, it seemed like something I was supposed to be into - but I’m just not 😆

i loved Valentino when Sg. Valentino designed himself & still have bags from that era, the quality is amazing especially the embellished bags. On contrary i don't like Maria Grazia's designs, so i stopped buying Valentino for a while & same goes for Dior..
I agree with Gucci, Versace, LV, Celine & BVLGARI, new Burberry should be added to that list as well! What happened to Burberry is a disaster..i used to buy a lot of their classics, now their designs look like Off White..
I must admit i own big LV collection, but i got most of those pieces in the early-mid 2000s. Looking at LV prices today & becoming sort of "mass product" i can't believe people are buying it, if you could buy more original, full leather & better quality bags from other brands.. In my opinion people should really be looking into smaller, more exclusive or younger brands.

I agree with every point said! LV Speedy and Neverfull are so into your face basically everywhere that it doesn’t have the vibe of “luxury” any more. There is not a day passed without seeing someone to carry one of those bags. As for Valentino, I’m sincerely surprised why some ppl still buy their rockstud bags... It’s such a boring design (not a classic by any means) that had its time 5-6 years ago... Celine... yes, a big big disappointment. There is nothing innovative and and appealing in the current collections. Old ideas with poor execution and a lack of creativity. Such a shame to lose a great brand...
Ppl buy Valentino Rockstuds because: 1) They are great bags ( especially the metallic ones) for certain occasions - nights out, clubbing etc... 2) Ppl find them beautiful... 3) They already became a classic to the brand.. 4) You don't see them on every corner like LVs... JMO

If a thousand dollars bag makes you happy, it worth it. As long as you afford it without struggling with your budget. I did not like LV and even thought it's stupid to buy one. Now I own 2, and I know why people like it. It's very light weight, much lighter than any of my other leather bags. Leather is nice but heavy. The brand name logos make people feel good to carry and own. But, always a BUT, most people who own Logo are not supposed to have them, and because of these people, the brands degraded, for many reasons.
I also think vegan leather is a scam, it’s just plastic, with leather price and non breathable
I still love my Gucci Marmont belts and bags but honestly, seeing everyone carrying them have ruined it for me. It is a shame. I have considered selling them but I can't seem to let them go. Maybe I will use them again in a few years when we stop seeing them everywhere we look haha.
I do love my Gucci marmont bag as well and I really don't get, why a black handbag with golden GG will at one point go out of style but a black handbag with golden CC never will. I also really like the quality.
I have many Gucci belts. One with big logo and it's a large width belt and a dinosaurus belt that not much seen and s huge bee belt, jewelry belt. If you choose something unusual then yo Will avoid that problem. Dress up different than other people, style in different way then you will look unique, trust me look at how the models dress up. Be daring, copy what you see in their runway or when you buy, see how the models put things together. That's why designers do runway every seasons to advertise their products. Don't waste your precious stuffs in the closet and don't feel bad. I use my stuffs and stylings, feeling so do so good. I wonder why people spend lots of money for logo and wearing them with sweet pants and hoody jackets and flip flops. Models don't dress like that or the brand would go bankrupt. Who wants to buy? Use it my Dear, the way model do, not the regular ordinary people dress. Make yourself special with your special expensive Logo brand and you will be very special and happy with lots compliments every time. ❤️
I have never liked the LV monogram. I think they look like an old mans toiletry bag. They are in a faul shade of brown...canvas that does not hold the shape of the bag. It gets dents very easily. And everyone have one, or even 10 bags in the same monogram and color in different styles...WHY?
I have one Valentino Glam-lock bag and I love it but I agree with you on the new designs and the Chloé and Gucci bags (trendy and not classics in my opinion). Also, I personally dont like the Bulgari bags (a bit tacky for my taste) and the LV monogram. Loved the video ♥️

the effort of modernizing, and updating a classic and iconic brand, they complete trashed the name of Burberry. I use to love everything they did, from the coats to the bags to their shoes, now when I go to make my list, I hate practically everything I see. It’s not practical, it doesn’t work for the brand and I hate it. I want my old Burberry back.
