OMG.. ALL THIS IS, IS HER OPINION- JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER VIDEOS.. SO WHO SAYS SHE'S RIGHT??? SHE ACTUALLY CONTEIDICTED SOME THINGS I JUST WATCHED ON A VIDEO EARLIER AND THE OTHER ONE MADE MORE SENSE THAN THIS ONE!!!!!
Honestly both sides looks good. You should of done the demonstration on a mature face like your moms to see the actual difference. Your skin is flawless without makeup so however you do your makeup it still looks good. I would love to see a part 2 on a mature face. Thank you. Great video
Watch my video coming out Tuesday am. I mix a couple foundations for the perfect skinlike finish but with that flawless appearance I think you may love :)
It’s just trends-neither side is wrong and you’re beautiful in both. I like tutorials that show how to accomplish different things and let us decide what we prefer for our unique faces and lifestyle. No need to call it right/wrong. Makeup is fun-do what you like!
You're so right. I leaned into the eye catching title for views and never really clarified in the video that I believe makeup is an art and I want to help motivate creativity. However there are ways to really amplify natural features. That was really what I wanted it to be about.
I think the ‘right/wrong way is incredibly helpful for those of us who like our makeup to enhance our natural features va distract from them. The right side looks a bit more eccentric, and strong which is a perfectly fine way to do makeup because makeup is an art form. But I also feel like the kind of people who like their makeup to look well, like makeup wouldn’t be the type to click on the video on the first place, because they do whatever makeup they want. It’s the same for fashion advice. A lot of fashion and makeup advice is based on ratios and proportions of what looks most flattering or natural to the eye rather than clash with your natural features, but if someone doesn’t care about looking natural then the advice isn’t really for people like them, it’s for people like us who love a natural look but don’t know how to achieve it.
I really freaking love how you agreed with her comment and kinda called yourself out for creating an eye catching title but, then clarifying that you want everyone to be creative and happy with whatever makeup trend they do or don't do. Really shows your values in my opinion. I just wanted to tell you that i appreciate the honesty in your comment. and I appreciate your want for everyone to just enjoy themselves and how they look in their makeup. Thank you. ❤@@abbyneff
I strongly prefer the professional approach to makeup. From a real makeup artist or a professional real model. Not that instagram nonsense, it’s all makeup want to be’s or fake models teaching people how to wear too much makeup, looking like clowns in the end.
I recently turned 29 and have realized my makeup has done everything you mentioned on the wrong side. The wrinkles, the caking, the dryness and everything in between. I’ve been so upset thinking it’s just part of the aging process and beating myself up thinking I’m going to age quickly and not as gracefully as others. While that may be the case, you just gave me so much hope and inspired me to try a new makeup routine. I’m still so mind blown at everything you showed in this video. Thank you!!!!
I agree with absolutely everything except the mascara placement thing. When a person has a longer midface (which you don’t), a bit of mascara on the lower lashline can help to create the illusion of a more balanced face. I used to skip this step, but now a bit of lower lash mascara is a must for me. Great video. ❤
Yes I agree! With my eye/faceshape, having a lower lash gives me more balance and achieves facial harmony. I totally get why some people would skip, it totally depends on your face.
I just finished watching it and I make every single one of the mistakes on the wrong side (except putting my blush up to my eyes lol) I’ve been watching tutorials on YT for 10 years like everyone else and I only just now feel like I understand makeup after watching this lol. I feel like I’ve been brainwashed to treat makeup as a mask instead of enhancing our natural state like these tips do. Brilliant ✨ thanks so much
Same! Everything on the wrong side I was 🙋♀️ yep it’s me. And I wonder why my makeup doesn’t last all day nor does it look refreshing! Thank you so much for this informative video!!!❤
1. Primer - primer or base cream to moisturise - prevents dryness. 2. Foundation/SPF tint - Do not swipe it on, it causes streaking/patching. Use a bouncy damp sponge, dabbing the product that is on the back of the hand onto your face. 3. Concealer - light to medium coverage. Put a bit of concealer in the corner, below eye divot but not close to the under eye area. Use dry q tips to get rid of excess concealer under the lash line area to prevent creasing. 4. Powder - baking technique creates thick layers of cakiness - very unflattering. Use a (press) powder and rub off onto hand before putting some under the eye and nose crease area. 5. Contour - dab contour on hand, then swirl your brush into it. Disperse product by bouncing brush along contour lines (angled dense brush) in a controlled manner. 6. Blush - put blush on the back of hand, dab brush into it, smile and put above cheekbone extending slightly to the hairline. You can use some on eyelids for a cohesive look. 7. Brows - Beware of the laminated look, use a light hand brushing hair up and out so it's stiff but natural. Filling in eyebrows slowly with hairstrokes in sparse spots. 8. Lashes - ensure they are curled and then use a brown/black mascara (depending on eye colour) and make sure to get rid of clumps. 9. Lip liner - lip balm, sharpen lip liner and trace lip shape and top off with lip gloss/stick. 10. Highlight - put on back of hand, use fingers and put on high points.
I don’t like how people say “everything you’re doing is wrong.” To each their own. We all have different faces. That being said- you’re beautiful with nothing on!
Normally, I watch these types of videos with a grain of salt, but I love the tip about warming up the cream bronzer and blush products first with the back of your hand then applying with a brush. Great tip! 😁
Hi Abby! Just wanted to thank you for this video. It literally changed the game so much for me and I now receive compliments on my makeup almost every day, it's crazy! I wanted to request a glowy natural bridal look if you don't already have one :) im getting married in june and would love to follow a tutorial from you!
You’re young and beautiful so anything looks great on you! Have to say what spoils the right side for me is the contour, it’s giving me the 80’s stripe of blusher look, where is the wrong side looks far more subtle. Also, it’s a different look, but the black mascara looks just as good as the brown. Oh and btw, I wish I had your wrinkles😂
hahaha! I know... they will only get worse too sadly. But trying to view age with grace and beauty but its so hard when they start to pop up ughh. Thank you for saying your opinion! Love to see what you guys think too :) Appreciate you!
This was so helpful, but can we take a moment to appreciate that highlighter she recommended… that was absolutely my favorite highlighter I’ve ever seen!!
I watched the video of you and your mom and just had to subscribe. What GORGEOUS skin you both have. I immediately purchased the milk moisturizer and ilia serum. I am 61 and skincare has always been of the utmost importance to me!
As a woman in her early 60s, I’d love to see someone more my age use your technique. I agree with all of it, but your skin is so lovely and maybe that’s your audience, but is it possible to get your Mom on camera who you mention in the beginning? That I’d love to see. Thank you for your video. It’s a good one!

I created an account to let you know I am 44 and have watched so many how to videos in hopes of someone helping me and I finally found yours! It was informative, extremely thorough with a bit of cheeky humor...I have never commented because frankly there hasn't been anything to comment on so thank you for seeing what I NEED and not only the latest trend.
This is the first time that I've watched a makeup tutorial/tips video where I actually felt like I understood everything that you were saying, and it would actually be achievable for me to try! I appreciate that so much! Thank you! I also really love your calm and measured delivery ❤ I wonder if you could do a video on more dramatic makeup - like a red lipstick or a winged eyeliner? Like a christmas party or a festive look? I can also imagine you have wonderful tips on skincare and hair too, which would be fabulous to watch 😊
Very, very well done. So helpful. Perfect tempo/speed of the tutorial, too. Enough detail to follow along, but not so long-winded that I lost interest waiting for the next step. Subscribed!!!
You did a great job but I have oily skin so I don't think a lot of cream products work for me & i don't want to be shiny but I don't want it to crease or be patchy either so it's the technique and what works for everyone individually for your skin... it's a lot of trial & error imo... That's why I've never followed trends at all...i just find what works & looks best on my face & body & just have my own path/lane of style...Thank you though i enjoyed... Jeffrey Star has been talking about the Bobby Brown face base for over 10 years... It's too expensive for me & im not dry anywhere on my face...
Totally hear you! Glad you listen to what works for you! Its very true that skin is individual just like everything. I do my best to share what i know about oily skin but its hard because i don't deal with it myself.
Hello❤ I’m 57 and I have the Typology tinted serum and was actually very impressed with it. Bought it on a whim, not expecting much from it and was quite shocked at the result! It feels so light and beautiful on my skin, with more coverage than I expected for a serum foundation ❤ I actually use my fingers to apply it (just like a moisturizer).
Same. I’m digging how some mu artists and influencers are starting to age and starting to offer subtler looks and tricks for aging skin. You can’t do glitter and glam forever, ladies! You will need to learn the basic “natural” looks eventually. 😅
I’m so glad I watched this before doing my wedding make up myself. It’s the most useful make up video I’ve ever seen and it’s going to change how I do my make up from now on. Thank you!
Wow - I've just discovered your channel and it is so refreshing to see a naturally beautiful face and a calming relaxed style of delivery. This is what we want to see on RUclips.
This video was so helpful because I have been into trying new makeup and I feel like I look like a clown. It’s just not sitting right. And your tips are exactly where I was going wrong. ❤thanks!
I think this video helped me because, although I have more texture and a different skin type to you (I'm oily), the mixing of products and keeping things on the back of your hand, and just controlling the process in really small ways is actually very helpful, keeping things lively and using less is a great idea to not just look better but save product.
My goodness I don’t think you can look bad with any kind of “bad” make up. You are so pretty. Thank you for the tips. I’m 49 and have never really known how to put on makeup. Love this video
I love everything you did on the right side except the mascara and lip method. I like the left’s lip and mascara x otherwise loveeeeeeeeee the tip you gave on foundation and bronzer/blush
As a person with extremely oily skin, I have tried all types of moisturizers and primers. Every single one has caused my makeup to shift throughout the day. There ARE a large number of moisturizing products I CAN'T use due to the fragrances. This is a huge issue with the beauty community, because the vast majority of the products that are suggested contain perfumes. That leaves people like myself, who get migraines, or people with very sensitive skin, at a major disadvantage. I have had excellent luck with NARS light reflecting foundation. It goes on directly without shifting, and although it has a slightly dewy look, it doesn't ever look oily or cakey. Also, as a person with extremely oily skin, I do not ever use powder! It causes makeup to crack, especially around the eyes and forehead. I use NARS foundation, Clinique chubby stick cream blush, and recently discovered that Wet 'n Wild has a line of gel lip liners that stay all day (seriously, even when eating and drinking). There are sadly only a few colors, but the name is Perfect Pout. Now, if anyone has a suggestion for eyeliner that stays all day on super hooded eyes and very, very oily skin, I would love to hear about it. The only place I wear primer is on my eyelids, but it doesn't help a whole lot. All liquids crust off within an hour, and pencils smear and have to be fixed throughout the day!
I’ve had to fight to get diy eyeliners made with the inglot duraline off even using oil based makeup removers. My eye area is also really oily. I don’t know if that would help you though. It’s what i use for all my eyeliner now since everything else would just disintegrate with the oil around my eyes.
Hi! Try using Dim vitamins to help the oiliness from within . Dr. Berg talks about this on his RUclips channel. I also have extremely oily skin . That helped!
@@abbyneff Thank you Abby! I would really appreciate this! I always thought I was decent at make-up until I started seeing myself in my RUclips videos. Keep up the good work!
So young so poised and so eloquent. Such an amazing and informative video. Your mother raised an incredible daughter. She must be very proud. I watch a lot of makeup videos even though I do not wear a lot of makeup but this was such a great video on showing me how to apply makeup to look natural. I don’t like the heavy makeup look and honestly my husband hates it lol. It wreaks havoc on my skin. This is probably one of the best videos of have ever watched, better then top makeup artist like Bobbi Brown herself. Thank you for being so informative and not overly chatty with info I did not require. Off topic your gorgeous.
Aw you're so sweet! Yes my mom is truly amazing :) @tamilovesvintage So glad this all resonates. Some people REALLY disagree but I guess to each their own style. Appreciate the comment!
Stunning! Honestly both sides are beautiful to me, but I can definitely see subtle differences and it’s so helpful to have the side by side comparison. I struggle with creating a dewy skin look cuz it just always turns out too oily. I will try these tips though and will hopefully find the right balance. Thank you!!
Thank you so much for this video. I swear my phone can read my mind. I literally was just thinking the other day, man I wish someone out there would teach the legit natural makeup tips that muas do on their professional models.. When I saw your thumbnail pop up randomly on my feed, I immediately thought, YeS! THis girl Knows what she’s talking about, that natural look side is eXactly what I was looking for. God Bless! -Saving this video and watching it on repeat.
Putting on the balm before the liner might be a good hack that I'm going to try. Also I agree about black mascara and not putting it on the bottom. I think it looks better when you don't. Also would love to see eyeshadow tutorials or do you just only do the blush on the lids?
I love that I’ve been doing a lot of these tricks for years through trial and error. Def need to bring back the cream highlighter. This was the best I’ve seen in so long. Thanks. Subscribed.
I just subscribed after watching this video. You explained everything so well and I appreciate that. Could you please consider creating a tutorial on how to choose red lipstick shades based on skin tone ? Thank you .
I recently got back into dramatic spider lashes because of Charlotte Tilbury's "exaggereyes" black mascara. I was wearing Pillow Talk in dream pop (an auburn/burgundy)- it's the perfect mix between drama for a blonde without the harshness of a black. I'm obsessed so I wanted to share!
You are the best make up artist I've ever seen, most of the other artists just make an artificial unnatural face and teach it to others, your make up is pretty natural, fresh and beautiful
Finally a video for a fresh clean look that is just elevated. Love the dewy look on u. I always wondered ab all those video's of people " baking" i was like what does all that powder look like in person!? Lol Its great for video and photos with people trying to achieve a look. But in person all that stuff on ur face will just age u
I'm 54 and have been obsessed with makeup since my teens. As I've aged I've had to adapt my makeup and techniques. Great video but for more impact I agree with other comments that you should do a video applying to someone over 50.
Stunning, seriously on the “correct” side. The glow is beautiful!!! Huda powder looks gorgeous when applied lightly with a small fluffy brush . Not a fan of baking and I know ppl usually use it for that but it looks wonderful used with other techniques
Great tutorial! Totally get you. I liked how you nonjudgementally explained what one could do better. I actually knew most of the steps but could still benefit from some of your tips! One other tip that I learned in Asia is taking a brow shade that is one shade lighter than your actual brow hair. It softens your face imo ☺️ Always nice to listen to pros 😌🥰
Im a model for 10 years and i do my make up sane way as you, just taking notes on the products and the brushes you use. Really thank god for the MU artists 💌
I'm a Pro MUA, and I think you're beautiful and skilled. I also think that using concealer on eyelids causes the shadow to crease, so I use an eye primer, like Sigma. Your look is lovely for everyday wear, but watching this is making me want to go do the most loud, maximalist, editorial look, because I'm a loud and proud gay man, who loves color and intensity. I can do a nice everyday look, but I like to experiment with makeup. Also, I'm super oily, so dewy anything ends up looking like the bottom of a frying pan on me.
@@jamesnylan aw thank you for the comment :) happy a pro can support what I’m saying! And yes I agree with the creasing. Taking it off the crease with the q tip is the only thing I’ve found. I have kind of dry lids and can generally see primers. I’ll check that one out! And don’t get me wrong I LOVE full glam. I’m more of a natural girlie and think skin is so important to any makeup look so starting my followers off with the basics 💕
@@abbyneff You are stunningly beautiful, and I think it would be fun to see you in full glam, but no hassle, no pressure. I don't wear a full beat on the daily, and most of my clients don't, either. Yes, skin prep is majorly important! Thank you for responding!
So what about when the person has deeper set eyes or more purpley eyelids? Because that’s the reason I use concealer, to help get a brighter base. Would i then need to get an eye primer that’s pigmented to combat that?
Excellent! This is by far the best and most practical makeup tutorial I have ever seen. Your being gorgeous doesn't hurt, but truly...this tutorial is perfection. 👏💖
This is such a lovely, easy to follow demonstration! For someone (like me) who isn't super into make and doesn't have or make tons of time to do their makeup this will be very helpful! Thank you!!
I kinda like the "dont" side better. Lol. I just like the blush higher because im old and i have a very round face. The other side gives you a fuller cheek look and im trying to elongate.
I love this 👏🏼 especially that you use products of all varieties and most are reasonably priced! Hate when influencers or models show use makeup look with💰🤑 products. I’m fine with a few high end products because I do think some are worth the money and I myself own a lot haha but I think most of us are trying to save money these days! It is kind of frustrating watching you because your skin is just so beautiful and mine is not 😅 so everything looks good on you lol.
I am going to try not to write too much. I freelance and do not mean this as harsh criticism, but I do want to point out something. The correct and incorrect sides may have been done better with the same products. For example, when you used powder, if you show how one of the powders worked on both sides, it would be a better way of showing different techniques. To bake on a side that wasn’t moisturized, where we would expect it to be caked on and heavy, while the other side was lightly powdered on moisturized skin. Then you blame the product rather than the technique. I do own both powders and use them on different clients for different purposes. Basically, the purpose of the video was to be focused on techniques. Although I do not use baking technique every time, I think there’s a time and place for it.
Thank you!! That’s what I was thinking! She also let the contour dry on the “wrong” side while she did the “right” side but if she had blended right away, it wouldn’t have been as hard to blend or patchy/dry
it’s purposeful misuse of products to sway opinion in the favor of her style. every time i see one of these videos on my recommended tab its the same content every time lol.
Love the fresh, dewy look. So pretty. Thank you for sharing these makeup tips! I especially love the under eye concealer/powder steps. I am going to try the brown mascara as well.
I’m not sure anyone would do all what you called “wrong”. Using a foundation brush is not wrong, you just have to know how to use it and no you can tap the brush. I’m with you about using products like contour or liquid blush directly on the face. But honestly does anyone use the brush the way you did on the wrong side? I doubt about that. Also the black mascara and how you think looks on you is absolutely personal and depends on the person’s complexion and preference. Frankly calling it wrong is wrong. People have different skin types and discoloration with dark under eyes. Less is always better. Who bakes these days I wonder. Setting powder is always better than pressed for under eyes…. What’s important is how much and the method you use to apply. Anyway appreciate your opinion.
If I did not already know you were the same person upon seeing each profile, it would have been easy to convince me that each side was a different person’s face just because of the way the different techniques slightly changed your facial structure. My makeup skills aren’t all that great currently, but I’m trying to get better, so this was EXTREMELY helpful! I appreciate you so much for taking the time to share these tips c: I will be following for more!!
Great tips! I will be trying some of them to see if they help my makeup stay put a little longer while filming! Also, you are beautiful! Love your glowy look.
Brown mascara, yes! Black looks harsh on so many people. Like foundation, it’s nicer to hear someone complement your eyes or skin rather than your foundation or mascara. Great to see blending of different foundations too. Even after finding a good match it’s sometimes easier to adjust it a bit another shade or different brand. A custom blend. I’m almost 57 and still love new tips; the lip liner looks perfect.

This is perfect! I literally just did the entire "wrong" routine this morning, thought "why do I always look so much older when I apply my makeup?" and then found your video. I'm going to give the "right" routine a try this week!
Aw YAY!!! I really hope this helps :) I came up with all of this based off how my mom and sister do their makeup and thought hmm.. If youre doing it maybe everyone else is too!
Did anyone see any difference she was talking about with the skin and under eye pwder/concealer etc?? So hard to see if there’s an actual difference there or not as both sides mainly look exactly the same
Its hard to see. I totally agree. The thing is, its hard to tell while you're filming it unless you go WAY overboard on making the bad look horrible. That wasn't the point to over dramatize it because I wanted it to feel real. Like real mistakes vs over the top.
Thank you ❤ I haven't been putting make up on for a while but I watch some videos sometimes.. I actually just got a foundation last night and I've been overwhelmed with how to apply things correctly and in the right order of products 😅 your make up looks so elegant and classy and soft which is exactly what I like ❤
I honestly love thick and dramatic lashes. I think it’s because I have absolutely no lashes, so if you have them I wouldn’t play them down haha. I wish I had glamorous lashes. But everyone has different preferences. You always want what you can’t have lol.
I find that doing makeup that looks good in person looks "meh" on camera & going too overboard & fake for in-person looks excellent on camera. It's very common. Same reason why people go downright clownish for stage makeup in theater. I bet the "right side" looks WAY better than the "wrong side" in person.
This video was great to watch, high quality, everything explained so good and also showing the products! You are so pretty and your skin is perfect so honestly both sides look good. The correct one is obvi better, but I'm not sure about cream contour. Although I like the correct side more, I feel like it's such a waste of product applying it first on your hand
I agree with a lot of things but hard disagree on the Huda Beauty powder. For a natural makeup baking makes no sense. Just put some of the powder on the back of the hand, dab the puff in, buff some powder into the hand to get excess powder off, and then gently buff it into the skin. I guess you can put it only under the eyes and nose, but if you work all day it’s more efficient to lightly set the entire face. You control how much powder you use cause you can just tap powder into the back of your hand before going in on your face.. Unless you have oily skin you really only need a little. It gives you a natural filtered effect and lasts all day, without breaking the bank. So far this is the only powder I found that ticks all these boxes.
I've tried it in so many different ways and it makes my skin look the opposite of flawless. Looks so heavy and shows the makeup under it/ the texture of my skin AND makes my wrinkles appear in places they aren't even really there :/ I wish it worked for me! I did a few videos on my tiktok where i tested it different ways and you could really see how it doesn't work. (Personally)
Love this! Hope I’m not repeating questions but there were too many for me to look through completely lol - as I’m adding everything to my cart, 1) could you comment on whether these colors (especially blush) work on cool toned skin? I am super fair skinned with a pink undertone but you seem warm toned in the video, so worried this won’t work for me or the lip might be too dark 2) have you made videos for covering a blemish? I know powder helps with texture so I generally layer powder products (yellow-ish powder to cover red, powder contour by Mario, and powder blush by Kosas since it has shimmer with no additional highlighter) 3) if these are too specific, do you do one-on-one tips? 😂❤ Can’t wait for more tips from someone in the industry with so much experience!
Hi!! So as far as cool tones, I recommend this Saie dew blush in rosy! Or happy by rare beauty. And for blemishes, kosas concealer and a little powder ideally :)
Yep. I love the tip about mixing foundations. I have older skin (60) and like a dewy look. However my fave is the 'wrong side' - while I think it would benefit from a little more dewiness, I think it looks more natural. I feel the other side is beaming a bit too much for me and has too much of an oily sheen. Its just my opinion tho. ❤ Thanks for a great video.
This was so helpful! I’d love to see an in-depth tutorial on bronzer. Whenever I apply bronzer, regardless of whether it’s a cream or a powder, I feel like it just looks so disjointed. Regardless of what colour I go with, I can’t seem to figure out how to make my bronzer look natural.
Everyone has their own routines but honestly, when it comes to westman atelier, there is no need to waste product by warming it up as it melts beautifully as soon as it touches skin. I use a Rae Morris shader and cheekbones brush and it blends like a dream. And WA's brush for the super loaded I use to blend everything I use on my cheek flawlessly. They are so easy to use. The takeaway here is that baking is finally over and to not hide but enhance our natural beauty. The brown mascara really does work so well with your natural coloring. Very pretty.
To be honest, It’s almost difficult to see the right and wrong side of your face. You are young and beautiful, so it’s almost impossible to make wrong make up mistakes ON YOUR FACE. You might want to try to present the techniques on different age groups too. We would love to see that! Thank you 😊
I really appreciate how you didn’t over-exaggerate the wrong side

Thank you. ❤@@abbyneff
@@SamsSwatchSociety aw babe thank you for seeing me 🥹 and taking the time to read and comment. Means a lot 💕
Great feedback. Finding people prefer the wrong side of mascara 50/50. Interesting! Thank you for the feedback :)
100%
Aging causes the face to get longer so this is a great tip. Use mascara on lower lashes lightly.
Thank you for the tip

They aren’t mistakes girly. It’s a preference 🩷
Thank you for this!!!
Hate seeing a line around the lips
Many thanks! ❤
I don’t like how people say “everything you’re doing is wrong.” To each their own. We all have different faces. That being said- you’re beautiful with nothing on!
Thank you for saying this! It's mainly a teaser.. click bait if you know what I mean
When it comes to your eyes, I like the way the „incorrect” side looks. It makes your eye pop more and the eye looks more open.
Normally, I watch these types of videos with a grain of salt, but I love the tip about warming up the cream bronzer and blush products first with the back of your hand then applying with a brush. Great tip! 😁
Do the same with your concealer too. It helps. :)
Thank you for the feedback :)

I think this video helped me because, although I have more texture and a different skin type to you (I'm oily), the mixing of products and keeping things on the back of your hand, and just controlling the process in really small ways is actually very helpful, keeping things lively and using less is a great idea to not just look better but save product.

Very good tips! Less is often more and dabbing in the contour makes a huge difference - thank you!

$110 for a moisturizer? I’m on the wrong channel right off the bat 🥲
I’m sure there is something comparable that’s not that much! However we spend tons of money on make up. Our skin is our biggest personal investment
For real, now how much was that highlighter damn
Guys I know :( I'll do more videos with more budget friendly products that are actually good! Stay tuned!

Of course!! Thank you for the feedback :)
100% agree. I wish I could go back and change the way I said that!
Totally agree - it’s more of a personal preference. 👌
If I did not already know you were the same person upon seeing each profile, it would have been easy to convince me that each side was a different person’s face just because of the way the different techniques slightly changed your facial structure.

Its hard to see. I totally agree. The thing is, its hard to tell while you're filming it unless you go WAY overboard on making the bad look horrible. That wasn't the point to over dramatize it because I wanted it to feel real. Like real mistakes vs over the top.

I honestly love thick and dramatic lashes. I think it’s because I have absolutely no lashes, so if you have them I wouldn’t play them down haha. I wish I had glamorous lashes. But everyone has different preferences. You always want what you can’t have lol.
100%! You can also try and go get a lash lift and tint! Something I’ve been wanting to do recently but haven’t found time to
I think first of all you’re a gorgeous lady and you look good with no make up at all. This is great advice for all
Aw thank you love
Why do I like the “wrong” side better? 🙃😂
You’re not the only one!
It could be that you're used to it? Or you just prefer the vibe? It's still very pretty.
🤪
I do too. That streak on the right side looks pretty
ɓad.
Looks so heavy and shows the makeup under it/ the texture of my skin AND makes my wrinkles appear in places they aren't even really there :/
I wish it worked for me! I did a few videos on my tiktok where i tested it different ways and you could really see how it doesn't work. (Personally)
Great video!! We LOOOOVE Keeping EVERYTHING UP CLOSE...ZOOOOM PLEASE! ❤
Aw thank you!!! And yes will do going forward :)
I like the one on the right. I also tell myself what to do and what not to do.
Love this! Hope I’m not repeating questions but there were too many for me to look through completely lol - as I’m adding everything to my cart,
1) could you comment on whether these colors (especially blush) work on cool toned skin? I am super fair skinned with a pink undertone but you seem warm toned in the video, so worried this won’t work for me or the lip might be too dark
2) have you made videos for covering a blemish? I know powder helps with texture so I generally layer powder products (yellow-ish powder to cover red, powder contour by Mario, and powder blush by Kosas since it has shimmer with no additional highlighter)
3) if these are too specific, do you do one-on-one tips? 😂❤
Can’t wait for more tips from someone in the industry with so much experience!
Thanks for a great video.
You're right. The lighting did make it look a bit much. IRL it doesn't though. Appreciate your opinion!
Thank you! I was in the process of purchasing a three-stick set that recommended brushing them all on together. This tutorial was very helpful!
Of course!
@@maryag213 you got it! :) great video idea
@@abbyneffcan’t wait!!
Thank you for your feedback :)
To be honest,
It’s almost difficult to see the right and wrong side of your face.
You are young and beautiful, so it’s almost impossible to make wrong make up mistakes ON YOUR FACE.
You might want to try to present the techniques on different age groups too.
We would love to see that!
Thank you 😊
Totally!! I have done it with my mom actually :) Those videos are on my Tiktok! www.tiktok.com/t/ZTFBdf5aa/
