I would personally love a video on transformative makeup. Like how to use one product several ways. I’m really trying to do that with my lip colors, so I don’t feel the need to keep buying lip products. Apparently, frosty nude, cool tone lips are in. Is there a way you can do that with the products you already have?

I only wish that she would show the actual amount of foundation she’s putting on the brush. I would really really appreciate that and also I have to say that you have the most gorgeous skin it’s unbelievable I can’t even find a word to describe that it’s like a porcelain tall but the same time it’s so smooth like milk literally and it’s so light but the same color evenly everywhere even on your arms in your hands. Girl, I don’t know where you live, but there must be no sun or something because it looks like you have buffered all over. lol just wow but yes. Please zoom out and show amounts used and do you wait for your toner to dry before doing everything or anything? Thank you so much for this video and again you have such perfect skin. I envy your skin so beautiful. lol 😂

You're a great teacher! I've forgotten some of these tips over the years, so I'm so thankful for the reminder. Seeing the application is so helpful, because we then get to mimic you as we try it ourselves. You're someone who got me back into makeup during the pandemic. Having started my 30's, my skin changed and became more dry, after being combo (but mostly oily) for more than 15 years,. You're videos inspired me, with the effortless looks you created, and your kindness and enthusiasm for makeup. Always keep creating!!

My question is: how long does your wing last if you use eyeshadow? Liquid winged eyeliners don’t budge but do powder wings fade quickly? Do they last all day?

    • @sylviaeneriz4808
      @sylviaeneriz4808 12 дней назад +4

P.s. I wish I could see you apply makeup in your 40’s, I’d be so curious how you’d apply concealer with fine lines and how you’d adapt your technique to more mature skin. Any chance you’d ever do a makeup video where you apply makeup to your mother or someone with mature skin? I’d LOVE to see that.

I've been doing my eyeliner with powder for 5 years now and it definitely doesn't last as long as a liquid eyeliner. Powder by itself: around 3 hours, powder with eyeshadow primer: up to 6 hours. Maybe it would last the whole day with primer underneath and setting spray on top

Here is how I have my face of peach fuzz. Run hot water and oil your face, I use olive oil or jojoba oil. Start shaving and use the hot water to rinse the razor with each stroke. This helps to protect your skin from cuts and moisturize your face. Towel dry gently and apply very gentle lightweight serums. Try not to apply heavy moisturizes.

A while ago, in a previous video, you mentioned blending out undereye concealer with a dry sponge and I've been doing it that way ever since 😊 I use the Real Techniques mini miracle complexion sponge, let the concealer sit for one minute and don't over blend. Agree with all these tips, allowing the concealer to set a little before blending it out is probably the biggest and took me into my 40’s to learn. I would always blend away most my coverage and it was beyond frustrating, and sent me on the right concealer formula when a lot of it was just allowing a little time for it to set so i could keep the coverage I was needing. It especially applies to concealers that are more hydrating and have a more fluid viscosity.
It’s also important to allow time between your color corrector and your foundation or concealer to set, before going in with your skin tone concealer or you are just going to be mixing them, and creating a color you were not after and doesn’t look natural because your concealer can’t apply properly over the color corrector like it’s meant to do. That was another huge learning curve for me.

I also figured out the gamechanging hack that is hypochlorous acid before and after face shaving in 2004. I think the serum formula would be next level because of adding that extra slip. My skin does get a bit irritated when i go in dry. Im going to try the serum next time! I also always clean my razor with an alcohol pad before and after the shave itself.
I know youve done videos before about concealer and hollows, but I'd love to see an updated take. I know you dont generally set with powder, but i have to because of my skin type. I'd love advice in that regard! Thats always a make-or-break part of my routine...which i get wrong more often than i get it right.
Lastly, i love the milky toner tip AFTER applying sunscreen. I always do the milky toner in my regular skincare (huge fan of the milky toners for years!), but it never occurred to me to do it over my set sunscreen before makeup. I'm definitely trying that one tomorrow! I hope my skin looks just as gorgeous as yours! The way the toner "mixes" with the foundation gave you such a stunning glow!
My skin is usually combo, but this winter, im really struggling with a combo of dry and flaking/pilling--especially around my eyes. I feel like my skin is just molting off my face whenever I'm doing my base lately. I cant tell you how many times I've ended up having to wash and start over trying to keep all the flakes and dryness fromtaking over because i turn into flakey-splotchy city. As a combo girl, the dry foakes are so foreign to me--its really done havoc to my routine!
These tips are great--and i considered myself to have fairly decent skills prior to my skin's new idenity crisis. You've goven me a lot of new tweaks to try out. Such a helpful video. I look forward to the concealer deep dive!
    Thanks, Amanda!!❤❤❤

Great tips, esp. love the eyeliner and the lipliner/lip gloss combos. You have a very believable quality to your videos and demonstrating each step is very helpful. 😊

Emily Noel has given that tip about where you first place your shadow- loaded brush is where you get the most intense color...at least 10 years ago! Love Emily! Good video!

Glad you figured all of these things out, what works for your skin, features, etc. Do you think that your younger self would have tried to follow these tricks?

I had to smile when you mentioned rubbing the remaining moisturizer on the back of your hand. I've unconsciously done that for years, and I swear, the back of my left hand looks 20 years younger than the other!☺️ first time seeing your channel; great, sensible info!

This is actually one of the best makeup tip videos I’ve come across… wish we had a similar skin type. I’m more oily, textured and have more mature skin but I subscribed anyway to show support. ❤
