1.when screen or back is cracked yo usually wanna cover it with tape so you get a better suction
2.in edge like phone the heat won't reach the edge as the phone is not laying flat

I remember getting a damaged s8 plus for $165 then paying $350 for SIM card tray, new screen, battery, and back glass for the phone. Wasted quite a bit of money.

I have an S9 that has a cracked screen and the display is flashing but when on lower than max brightness the screen will flash white. Is the S9 display hard to replace. I make RUclips content and was beginning to grow but after my screen broke it really slew down.

Hii when i restoring a s8 active i fried the display i accedently bend the conector on the mother board and the oled panel has shorted

For these samsung phones it is extremely important if you are transferring around parts, you must have the exact same variant on both (storage option can be different). Something like a Galaxy S4 or S5 has like half a dozen variants and mix and matching between them will give you anything from signal issues to just flat out not fitting right. This is ESPECIALLY important in the likes of US and China where there are a bunch of carrier specific variants!

bro help me, so i have a pixel xl and i dropped it in water the other day, when i took it out it was working fine but i turned it off right then because that is what came to my mind. after being in rice and outside for a whole day, i tried to turn it on but it wont turn on or even vibrate, it wont even charge when i put it on charging. could you at least tell me what the problem could be?

Hi Hugh, my dad smashed his back panel on the S8+ and the battery's health was ending, so we decided that we were gonna replace both, when we finally got into the phone, we peeled the the wireless charging half way off, we needed to remove some screws, w removed all but one, because whatever we did, the screw was not moving in any direction, we used all the screwdrivers we had but it didn't budge at all
Is there any way I could remove the screw

Hey Hugh i love what you do. i have an s7 edge with the volume and power buttons which needs to be replaced but i am really skeptical. i cant even purchase the tools you use because ifixit doesn't ship to Cameroon . it frustrates me
