Love your ideas..I just got a bunch of 100% cotton tea towels at Dollar tree & made a couple plastic bag hangers, a mug wrap (quilted) and two mixing bowl covers. One was nautical for sis's yacht & the other was red, black & white kitchen themed with vibrant red pot for friend's BDay. They were fun, quick & so very useful. Love to watch you for inspiration.👍💗👍
Sherrill...will you tell me if the cotton trims on these towels need ironing after wash? Is there a way to avoid ironing? Maybe using a light pellon? Thanks as always!!
Hi Karen. Always prewash the towels and fabric before cutting and sewing. As far as having to iron every time the towels are wash, it depends on the quality of cotton fabric. Some will need ironing, and some will not. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
