Corey started off in the power washing industry, and it was talking to those customers that made him decide to open an epoxy flooring business. He took time off from his business to master the process and complex science of concrete coatings, bringing that knowledge back to his team to ensure consistent quality with every floor they install. That time spent learning paid off, and many of Northwest Concrete Coatings’ new business today is referred from satisfied customers who love their new garage floors.
Along with his knowledge of the craft, Corey’s marketing expertise and emphasis on business systems have helped him grow Northwest Concrete Coatings quickly. He shares how he systematized his operations to create a seamless, smooth workflow for his teams, and why it’s crucial for a business to have replicable, measurable systems. We’ll also find out what tools he uses to run and market his business and how he’s created an exceptional customer experience.

Yes, absolutely agree!
Great content per usual. Especially learning about the pipeline of a good experience, is just brilliant!

he dropped good knowledge good episode bro
That floor cleaning material did the job a very noticeable improvement 👌 👍😊.
That's for sure! We're you intrigued about this industry? Perhaps want to venture on this biz?
There's a reason there's not much competition in this space. I called 5 concrete grinding companies in my area before finding one that would grind the concrete in my business. 4 of 5 said they no longer offered the service, and two of the people told me directly that they got cancer from grinding concrete. Be careful out there, everyone. It's REALLY dangerous.
The company that did come came in a hazmat suit with a large grinder like the one in the video that had two 5-foot-tall vacuums attached to the back of it.
"You got weak lungs, Paul."
Exactly. To bad most people only think about capitalism and bit consequences to people's health. "you have weak lungs paul", "you don't wanna do the work yourself and kill yourself, that's why you need employees". I can't believe this guys mentality. Wonder what his environmental standards are as well
There's a ton of competition actually. I can't imagine you forming a correct opinion on an entire multi billion dollar worldwide industry based on the conversation with 5 people
@@pacificnorthwestprowash7689 That's very true. The work definitely has to get done, and certainly makes for great business. Just adding my experience with the topic. Before contacting companies, I rented a small and large grinder. I tested out the handheld one, got dust all in my face and called the companies. And as I've said, most declined to grind my floors. It certainly can be a very dangerous job without adequate protection. Just because there's a demand for a service doesn't mean it's not dangerous or potentially hazardous to your health. I'm not making any assumptions about your company or insinuating that you haven't taken all possible precautions to keep you and your workers healthy.
All love to other entrepreneurs. Congratulations on all of your business success! Comment not personal or made in an inflammatory way.
And as far as Paul goes I give him as much crap as possible lol, I know him on and off the big screen! So giving him crap gives me pure joy lol
Man just look around. EVERYTHING makes you sick now days. Pretty much everything you pick up says “known to the state of California to cause cancer”. I’m a floor installer by trade, 15 years now and literally every product I work with has chemicals that can make you sick. Even natural products have warnings. I understand what you’re saying but just getting out of bed in the morning is dangerous lol
Great video.

Who is a good supplier for the epoxy and flakes?
My biggest question is how do we gain access to the training manual? Whatever you might charge would certainly be worth it. I would very much like to enter my third year in coatings with a better way to train.
These are literally shot by iPhone but put together in a strategic manner along with safety, installer, office, sales manuals for the office. I will probably eventually start to sell them, I need to get in and highlight all the things you may need to change to adapt to your company. It would probably be in the $5-$10k range along with a few months of coaching you through everything

I am always amazed about the prices and margines for goods and services in the USA which are mentioned in such videos.
In Germany it would be extremly difficult to find costumers for such products, especially for such a price.
Doing business in the USA is a paradise. The people are apperently much more willing to spend money and much less price sensitive.
Yep, same here🤣i dont see opportunity for this business in indonesia. Even me thinking "nahh i wont spend that much. ill leave my concrete like this. I dont need the looks, the basic function s the same"
But i keep watching to learn how this man run businesses
Remember JD you are not your ideal customer!!! I remind myself of that daily, just because you sell something you wouldn’t or could afford doesn’t mean others won’t! Have faith and be confident in what you do even if you yourself wouldn’t buy it! It’s valuable to someone!
Having an entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic can definitely be e rewarding in the US. If you come here with idea and it catches on, customers will come to you. There are many many examples of this. Literally, the land of of opportunity. But, there are others things that be come with it, so it's not for everyone.
This guy same thing. They went out and got the clients and sold contracts and then they worried about material and tools. Lots of smart business owners ceos will do this and the deposits they collect cover the upfront costs. It’s almost like kickstarter but you do it yourself. This is how everyone should start . Get the job first then worry about how to get it done. The battle is getting clients . Business is getting clients nothing else. The job needs to turn out nice yes but the only battle is customer acquisition that’s pretty much what business is.
It's not risky to buy assets for your business. It's risky to spend all the business budget at mcdonalds on milkshakes.
This is super weird…I literally just said last night that I was going to look on your page and see if you covered an epoxy guy and here it is the next day 🤯🤣
