I'm a 35+ yrs. exp. professional industrial & commercial painter. One thing that is an absolute must on any coating application involving many kits of paint/coating is to appoint ONE person in charge of ALL the product mixing. I also place each empty container to each and every kit back together so you absolutely know each and every kit was properly mixed showing no mistakes were made. It also helps to show exactly how much you used too.
Amazing work, am an architect student in France. I love to watch your vidéos. I just found out your RUclips page today, it has been 3 hours am watching vidéos ❤️
It looks amazing! I was cringing when he was sanding with the palm sander at an angle. That can dig in and leave a crescent shaped low spot really quick.
Once the epoxy base coat and highlights are poured and blended, the first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol; this creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop micro bubbles. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy.
Thanks for sharing. Great work! What was the spray you use? And what was it for ? Is there any final polishing? And what do you use for ongoing care of the finish?
I like the concept of this floor a great deal - but I think just one color highlight doesn’t achieve a very sophisticated effect - especially the way the highlight was created as separate pools rather than long streaks - and that they weren’t blended into one another for a more cohesive result. I’d have rather seen a more subtle shade added and blended a bit more - or even to have you added a 2nd highlight as a deeper color at maybe 1/3 to 1/4 the quantity of the first. There are areas that look lovely - feathered and natural - and then other parts that look very “painted.” I’m unsure whether the owner wanted a high-end look or an avant- guard, artsy look - if it was the latter then this turned out quite successful.
Amazing! The floor even looked cool just after the first coat that you put down. Then with each 'layer' it transformed into something even more amazing. Your crew does an excellent job with these epoxy resins! I'd love to see a floor done like a turquoise sea with waves off the sandy shoreline, if that's possible to do on a large area.
Looks great, BUT how can one ever replace this floor !? To work on floor heating or replace scratched part..?? Does your hair not get static when walking on this surface??
i wanna learn how to do this so bad, i do hardwood floors but this has so much more potential for me imo. Do i need to get certified to start applying epoxy? or is regular flooring license enough?
Great job guys.Question, when you applied top coat it was sprayed on any tips on that? And two I seen when spraying it you guys didn’t really paper or tape the walls or baseboards any reason why?(Besides you have experience)
Hi Leggari! Big fan of your product/video's! One question: It seems that in all of your video's you don't apply a leveling compound on the concrete before you pour the epoxy? Is this not necessary?
Really nice job guys ❤😊👏🫶 ..i am wondering it is ok to put water based gloss urethane in the end over solvent base epoxy…because solvent base stinks to much….what u say? …i also like to get glass effect without bubbles in the end with urethane but with roller i also have some challenges ;)) thanks for answering😊
Loved it much better before…I think the shiny look was more live and brought a vibrant feel to the room…however the finished product is what the customer wanted so there’s that…👍🏽👍🏽Outstanding piece overall gentlemen!!!
This is a business where people walk all day and all types of glossy shiny floors are prone to slipping and if there's the slightest bit of water then its like an ice rink..so the non slip flooring matte finish is important for work place health and safety so they don't get sueded when someone slips...ile be covering up stunning massive marble floors with a matte finish epoxy simply because it's where kids play and partys are held and it's near the pool..sometimes you have to have safety over fassion.
Great Well done It's an excellent job.. I am a Moroccan Dyer i follow you, i love the art of dyeing on walls and floors, although I have a master's degree in law, I love dyeing, I work in it and I also create many things.. I would have liked to have been with you to add your experience to mine and return to Morocco to building company. You are wonderful and I am watching your works, keep up the good work i proud of you ❤️ Thank you everyone Very nice 👍 Good luck
Yes, you want to add the highlights and get them blended as quickly as you can. The epoxy won't cure in a flash, but it is best to pour, roll and spray as quickly as time permits. You may notice that we don't apply the base coat over the entire floor before adding highlights. We do a section of base then add highlights and blend, another section of base and highlights and so on and so on. Check out other epoxy floor color options here! 👉 leggari.com/order-flooring/

Can anyone tell me what happens to the mixing buckets once used? Do they get cleaned and reused or discarded for new ones? If cleaned, what product is required to clean them?
Just out of curiosity (not criticizing), is the base trim not leveled because of the floor? If yes, could self leveling concrete made the floor even to avoid the gaps under the base trim?
Amazing work! Appreciate the skill and knowledge you share. You've got balls to do that when your a business. @ 26:20 You should try using a fine flour sieve whilst adding the grit so you get a better mix. It may sound stupid but it's the little details that make things better and easier. And their so cheap it's worth a go.

Eh… matte is susceptible to being scuffed itself, which produces glossy streaks. We have matte epoxy at work, and it’s been interesting. The building is only 2 years old and already multiple areas have had to be redone under warranty.
@@LeggariProducts Hello guys, I love to greet you children always. Please tell me, what kind of resin do you use for the floor and what do you put on the last one I saw that put shine on it?
this floor has been leveled already. Epoxy is a self leveling product anyway. It actually isn't necessary to level the floor. Unless you have big differences in hight. Self leveling does not mean it will level itself without any help of yours (worth of remembering). It will never be perfectly leveled so do not worry about such things. As long as everything is covered you are ok. One more thing - do not believe in those mirror like effects. They are not there. If you bring the camera closer you will see orange peel everywhere. The only way to make it mirrorlike is to sand it and polish it (would take around 4-5 weeks for 1 person on this floor from the video)

Hello, after spreading the resin, what do you spray on it?
So you’re adding the highlights while the Basecoat is still wet? I thought you had to wait for it to cure before?
Amazing work
The floor can out Beautiful, I would have liked a high shine on it...if it was for me but love the mixing of the color..
It very very well detailed I love that.

And here was I waiting for all the walls to be painted!
WOW, I would love to have my floor done next!
Great job.Looks stylish.👍

that matt finish took it to another level, high gloss can look a bit too bling, and the matt will mask the scuffing of shoes more long term
