This magnificent table is a wonderful work of art. I can imagine it being used when having friends over for dinner and after one hour of non stop praise the host says "ive been cooking all afternoon and no one has mentioned the food yet"
You’ve brought in two of my favorite components…make that three…and used/combined them so beautifully. Wood, mechanical moving parts and metal. Beautiful epoxy colors. And the base design is amazing. Well done.
That looks like a lot of work but the results are absolutely amazing. I’d want to show that table off to everyone if it was mine. You’ve earned my subscription for this work of art.
I love the way you chamfered the bottom edge to clean that up. Good call taping to avoid the epoxy drip to the underside and a great way to solve for the taped area not having epoxy.
Wow, i am completely stunned 😮. I have seen all the other videos where they have hours over hours full of sanding and polishing and you put a final coat of epoxy on it and it's done. So i thank you for this information sir great work ❤
SO BEAUITIFUL!!!! And SUCH a GREAT Job on the EPOXY!! I can't say I've EVER seen someone just leave the surface un sanded and polished like that. I ALWAYS see them work for HOURS, if not DAYS sanding and polishing the surface if the table to make it looks PRISTINE... And when I first started watching epoxy table videos I wondered why they did this and just didn't leave after the final layer untouched. It (almost)ALWAYS looked (nearly)PERFECT and then they go and start sanding it... So I just figured it was a quirk with the epoxy and you HAD TO sand and polish it.. because EVERY ONE (and I mean EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON.) did it !! With ZERO EXCEPTIONS! Until you... and it looks IMMACULATE!!! NICE FRIGGIN WORK BRO!!!!!! - - BUT.. I do have some critique.... why did you make this into a table? RIGHT up until the moment you placed the base onto the top (nevermind out of NOWHERE, WITHOUT WARNING, cutting straight to welding steel, without ANY context or word lol) I was enjoying watching you make a nice big wall piece with a dope ass clock in the middle of it - NOT A DINING ROOM TABLE 😳 - That confused the H3LL OUT OF ME!!! lmao not that it's a bad table or anything, I just picture analog clocks being on the wall.. and if I had actually READ THE VIDEO'S TITLE it would have made more sense lol I'd rather have that hanging on the big empty space of my family room wall, but that's more of a personal preference than anything... so just ignore all that :P - And there is one more thing about the build that I would like to bring up. The 'legs' (I guess maybe I should call it the 'base' for this build) are VERY straight and angled whereas the table top and everything about it rounded and organic and I don't think they go together. Mind you, I LOVE both the base AND the TABLE-TOP ... but not together. The base is very 'architectural' with straight line, and hard angles. Made from square tube steel.. very hard, and cold, and immovable... tough..... and the pattern used to link the top and bottom has a flaring twist to it... almost like how a flower's petal pattern twists around (which I ABSOLUTLEY LOVE!!! - I would LOVE to see an entire piece with this as the influence ) but it just doesn't go with the organic, natural, round, randomized pattern of the wood AND even the gears of the clock... they seem almost random in the placing, until you see it move.... the clock and it's gear go SO WELL with the rings of the wood, and the larger horizontal pieces with the live edges remind me of the shape of the arms of the clock a bit... like I couldn't believe how good you matched the two types of pieces of wood with the clock.... my jaw was on the floor as I watched you pouring the epoxy. (LIKE A FRIGGIN PRO might I add!!!) Not everyone takes their time and does it right by waiting long enough for the first few small layers to get tacky enough to an another THIN layer (I was SOOO hoping you were gonna add some mica to that first clear layer, so the 'twinkle' would be deep down inside table and you would see it until the light hits it just right OR you're looking hard into the table) and you just knocked this project OUT OF THE PARK!!!! I am seriously IMPRESSED with how good this turned out!! I mean I'm just a nobody so my opinion doesn't hold any weight lol, But I ben watching a lot of epoxy videos this year and I've seen WAY TOO MANY "professionals" make such rookie mistakes. (ohhh maybe you were able to hide all your mistakes because it was time-lapsed.... ahhhhhhh THAT is the key8 to all the magic, huh? LMAO jk) Well now I'm gonna go browse through your other videos, but I wanna say that with this being the first vid of yours that I've seen, I pretty sure I'll be impressed with the rest of them too :)
This is my favorite wood & epoxy table I’ve ever seen, and I’ve watched endless hours of these types of builds on YT. (this is only the first video of yours I’ve watched.) I really like your video style as well. I appreciate that you show what equipment and products you use inset on screen so I can pause and screenshot if needed. Your added text is helpful without being distracting. You have a good balance of detail for my knowledge and interest level. It is incredible that you created such a unique and elegant table without a full shop of huge dedicated tools costing thousands of dollars each and taking up tons of space. (And of course the welding is an optional skill if one is only emboldened enough to grow as a woodworker by watching you create.) I really appreciate seeing such a high-end piece being created with a shop more people can hope to own. We don’t all have the talent for design and execution you have, but it’s cool to see what’s possible. Amazing work. I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of your work. Seriously, this table is gorgeous. This is what other epoxy/wood tables aspire to be.
@@donnavillanueva1995 I’ve spent literally hours watching them. (And I use the word “literally” in its older sense; not for hyperbole. lol) Most of them have amazing workshops with every tool imaginable, and a lot space to work in. I’ve seen plenty of gorgeous tables using exotic woods costing thousands of dollars. I’m not knocking them. They have access to so many resources. I have been blown away by some of them and shared the videos with friends and family who may or may not appreciate them, but because I am so enthused I need to show somebody. But this, with the gears in the clock and the disks of wood, and the overall aesthetic of it appeals to me most of all. Combine that with the simplicity of the tools and it’s even more appealing. It makes it feel attainable, even though it is not something I would ever be able to create. (I’ll stick to my miniatures) I’m not usually one to comment though. Something about this table grabs me.
This is soooo brilliant on soooo many levels. Conceptually it shouldn't work - slabs of tree floating around a clock - how 😒! But you've selected a clock with large moving parts to catch the eye and amuse. The timber is beautiful and well balanced. You've used a coppery coloured background layer of epoxy rather than the usual, wait for it, BLACK! The topcoats are perfect and you made it all look soooo easy. And for heaven's sake don't get me started on the base. It is perfect and takes a nice tabletop and turns it into a homogenous piece of art. This is a ten out of ten - Congratulations, you are very, very talented!
Simply amazing. I would love to make one like it, or have one built. This would be an awesome concept for a coffee table with the same style clock, LED backlit.
I really like this a lot it was very well thought out and considering the top wasn’t sanded and polished it still looks amazing ,I loved your little tips with the blue around the edge ( I normally tape my underside up and let it drip on that then remove the tape but you done it another way and the chamfering on the underside edge and then finish with a wipe of resin and even down to trimming up you still left enough epoxy on all the sides .when you flipped it over and I saw the router I thought oh no he’s gonna remove all the resin from the underneath which you didn’t as you know you want epoxy on both sides to prevent one side from ever bowing .yeah I was very impressed with this build and the design definitely original .a nice dim warm light around the clock edge would look lovely as well .top build love it keep it up my fellow RUclipsr top marks 🙌💯💪 oh and the base I almost forgot about ,was very sunning and well thought out also
Nice work and kind of inspiration for my massive real mechanic wall clocks I design and build. In the future I will connect between epoxy backgrounds and mechanical movements around 100cm diameter. ❤
Impressive result for an awesome creation. Hard and long work, total respect, bravo.. In my opinion, what i see is an impressive opposition betwin circle en rignt angle. Peharps it's volontary, i don't know, round of wood, round of gears, circle of the external hour system, all that is soft, calm, soothing.. In opposite there are all lines very straight, rude angle and tips, without chemfers. I find for the external lines that could be peharps more soft, an light chamfer peharps, or reduce angles.. It's just an idea..
Absolutely stunning, watching this you can see why they command a 5 figure sum but the clock face needs to be aligned properly with the 12 at the top not to the side...
Very nice and its good idea and design like that from slab of wood, amazing, now you can called expensive table that you can sell or received order to sell.
Огромное Вам спасибо!!! Вы приносите людям радость! Снимаю перед Вами шляпу!!!
One of the most beautiful epoxy tables I've seen on the Internet, amazingly done.
This magnificent table is a wonderful work of art.
I can imagine it being used when having friends over for dinner and after one hour of non stop praise the host says "ive been cooking all afternoon and no one has mentioned the food yet"
Just amazing. I love that the clock actually works and not just a center piece.
Очень достойный результат! Сочетание дерева с часами стимпанк... и очень интересное подстолье!
Hasil karya nya sangat luarbiasa👍🥰🥰cantik meja itu

DEFINITELY LOVING this one, that whole rustic steampunk vibe looks great !!! Many thanks for sharing
Wow. So many skills he has. It's beyond gorgeous.
Highly skillful, multitalented, we talking sheer class here, that's brilliant stuff from a genius!!!
I like the format of your video. The “picture-in-picture” showing the details and/or products is perfect. Subscribed!
I love the way you chamfered the bottom edge to clean that up. Good call taping to avoid the epoxy drip to the underside and a great way to solve for the taped area not having epoxy.
I eat way too fast to have the time to appreciate it, I would have to make it a work desk. Great job!
