It took me a while to get it. It’s supposed to look like a balloon exploding, like the moment frozen in time. I (and others) thought the video was going to be trapping an inflated balloon in resin, and then popping it while inside. Very nice art piece.
Very clever and well thought through 😊❤ Its always appreciated to watch someone who knows what they are doing, especially when they are making beautiful 3 dimensional artworks.👍
Thank you for this! So soothing for my soul to watch. (There are too many shouting people making resin art.) This was just superb. Well done and very clever. 🙂
Very clever. We see so many people creating tables and worktops 🙄, etc, with gallons of resin. So it's nice to see something we mere mortals can try and have fun with. The trick with the cotton wool was ingenious 😉👍🏼
@jedrek29t You're welcome. You are always so kind to thank me. I truly appreciate that. I loved this video!! Resin genius!! I mean it sincerely when I say your art is so inspiring. Tysm.
@@user-4504Daily That was cotton (plant based) not wool (animal based). It is used to A: catch air bubbles to B: simulate the moment of the explosion 💥. 🐾🐺🐾
No, not really. I am a woodworker and I do a lot of whittling down pieces. I know my blades, power and I have better control sometimes than to cut away.
That's the proper way to use a paring knife, and it's how I whittle with a small blade too. More control and it's actually safer. You're not really pulling the blade to yourself, but rather pushing the material into it.
@@TheaterGeek2007 That was NOT a "paring" knife...that was a razor edge UTILITY Knife 😮. Never heard of usin(nor seen one used) a Kitchen Parin knife for whittlin.
Awesome creation simply amazing it's like doing a science experiment or motion of force on a solid object. This creation makes an ideal gift for your science teacher or science professor in university. You can also use visual examples in your science report. Lots of love and blessings.
Hello. I made a spherical accessory with Epoxy Cufflinks (epoxy resin) where I embedded a gold element, but it turned out badly and I want to recover the gold. What can I use to dissolve the solidified resin? How?
Very interesting! Not what I expected but it certainly did represent an exploded balloon! I was very impressed with your process, which was genius. ♥️♥️♥️🇨🇦
Wow that’s so beautiful it’s like the slow mo guys popping a water balloon🎈in slow motion but in a resin art 🖼️ way I love it. And it’s blue as well I love the colour blue. Anyways that’s video was incredible and I love it I wonder what other resin art your going to be doing next video. Anyways keep up the great work you’re doing and see you next Friday because your awesome😁👍.

Your tree issue is more than likely due to the shape of the tree, not the mold. The shape makes it easy to create an air pocket. You need a thinner mold or much softer silicone (0A shore hardness instead of 10A) that you can squeeze the sides of to help the air pocket release. You also may have had some of your issues because you poured in the molds too early. Temperature and humidity play a big role in silicone curing just like it does in resin. But typically it is recommended that silicone sit for at least 24 hrs before you pour in it. Some brands will even say 48 hrs and others up to a week. But typically, most brands say 24hrs. And some (such as Smooth-On) recommend heating your silicone to a specific temperature (176f) for 2 hours and then allowing it to cool at room temperature before using.
What if you make an object into which you can insert a needle deeply to make a change. For example the needle could push a switch to turn a light or something.
Before i watch.. i doubt it can explode in already set resin. But video will be cool im sure. Reminds me of something a friemd and i pondered about. If you would strip a blade fuse from its housing and put fuse itself in resin and then short it if it still would blow. I told my friend it should still blow even when in resin. He wasnt sure cause of thoughts regarding oxygen etc. well i had resin extra and did it. And the fuse still blowed when shorted on battery. Now i sit with a blown 3 amp fuse incased in resin with 2 blue wires stickinh out😅😅
ha ha ha I just had a thought.. for every comment about the knot.. you could have lingered on camera shot of the knot... just playing with it... for an uncomfortable amount of time... ha ha ha ha! you were very kind not to do that.

Try nitro solvent

What do you do with all the things you make? Do you throw them away or are they all taking up space in the house?
I have all
Que coisa né kkkk A criatividade dessa gente é grande kkk
For the box you uses Acetate or acrylic ??
1 mm plexiglass from anti frame
Did the egg and perspex( ?) Need covering with a release spray or just straight in? So they don't stck to resin?
I don't use any splitters
I need to see the result of all this preparation. I'm left with an egg shape in a balloon in a resin cube. What is ir supposed to be?
I hate clickbait.

Does the resin ever heat up enough to cook the egg?
I never checked it
I think Ben's Worx did before. I can't remember how it turned out. He too has done several videos with food. But maybe you can check.
The egg looked hard boiled already.
