Honestly, using the dripping wax look to cover the wire was probably the most brilliantly clever thing I’ve ever seen (edit: Hey Jedrek, it’s been 10 months and you haven’t liked my comment, I’m hurt:{)
The way you hid that led wire so well with the drip of the wax was so GENIUS!!! Every step I was like “Oh wow!” Then the next “Oh WOW! Then at the end I was like: “AHHHH ITS BEAUTIFUL”
I did not immediately understand how it turned out to capture a real fire. The idea is to hide the wires under the spilled wax, this is generally insane cool idea! I am delighted with your work and your ideas!

That went in a way better direction than I could have imagined. I love the way you incorporated the melted wax to hide the wires. My first thought was, "why are you not drilling through the candle?" But the way you did it will leave people in awe since it isn't what one would consider a "traditional" way to do it. there are some flickering fire simulated LEDs used to make real candle light fire effect. if you used that one, it will be even more amazing. still its an amazing looking project.
@J T well said. when i look at the flame part my eyes scan past it and i catch the yellow with red hue and i appreciate it a lot! A flickering light might be distracting from the artistry that goes into the piece
