I am going to try this, I can see the start of a new company. I have several rental homes I can practice on. Several years ago I opened a Bar with a friend I still laugh when I remember the to of us sealing the bar top with resin when we had trouble with air bubbles. We called the manufacturer for help and was told to heat it with a torch. We were so nervous expecting the epoxy to burst into flames. It was so nice when we were done.
Very cool! Resin is such a cool product work with 😍 In the future, if you would like to avoid the torching process, our self-leveling epoxy only requires a fine mist of denatured alcohol to pop micro bubbles. Check out our website to see what kits and products we offer! 👉 leggari.com
Even though my laminate counter tops (refurbished by previous owners) are less than 7 yrs old, they're a speckled white/grey/beige and tend to discolour and scratch easily. Real marble, granite or terrazzo is simply way out of my budget range but the sheer beauty and DIY option you've shown here has given me renewed hope that I probably can upgrade my kitchen one day. Thanks for sharing all the tips n tricks with us in your demo. It was extremely entertaining for a DIY video 👍😊

You won’t regret it! I did my kitchen floor myself. Cost me about $3500 (I messed up a little section the first time, so it was a little more costly). I also did our guest bathroom floor with epoxy and the pennies I’ve collected since I was a kid. I just ordered this stone kit from them and plan to do my kitchen counters!
Very very impressive. Great demo. Beautiful results. Immaculately executed. Very clear precise instructions. I’m confident after watching this again and following all you instructions I can do this. Preparation at each step is key. Testing with samples will give me more confidence to use this wonderful product. 👍🏻
Absolutely love this resin pour. The kit seems perfect for New Diy people also. Your full explanation from start to finish, and showing each step was excellent. I love this color combo, and definately would try this. The diamond effect in the isenprophel alcohol is amazing. One of my next projects.
When I was a kid, a little more than 50 years ago, I got a job pouring gunk into molds, making sinks. I thought the swirly patterns we got were pretty neat. Boy, how things have improved!
I really like the way you are applying the epoxy little by little. It's very creative artistic and hypnotic. I can watch this video for hours and hours. You're so dedicated to this process, it's commendable . 👍❣️❣️❣️

I love this , I've only tried this a couple of times , but gave up. But watching your video, I now know I was doing it all wrong ! I'm so excited to try this again. I was wondering what they were going to do with the edges, then he started to rub along them and I was thinking 'well that's just screwed that up' but like magic the design came through again. Amazing.

@@joeb.8625 No, you have to putty and sand all of the joints and nail holes! If you don't it will show up. It is only about a 1/4 inch thick, if that. It did look pretty good when I was finished but one of the joints didn't get sanded as well as it should and you can see it. I will say that it was in a rental and they were not the cleanest people but it appears unmarred. So it does appear to be durable, so far. I feel like they just way underplay the prep work.

Honestly, dying over the fact that you covered an already beautiful counter top. (I mean yes the result is amazing but I would be so happy to have the before)
@Aloha Akahai Yes, I agree. But I still am really fond of marble and granite in their original forms, unless they are awfully deteriorated. I would use this technique to mend and restore... But... it is an incredible countertop. And beautiful. Congratulations on doing it for many of us would make a terrible mess just trying! LOL
Yes, i did! My home is only 4 yrs old. I do lots of epoxy, its always good to find what other kinds are available. That's why I watched the entire video..
When I saw that the video was almost an hour-long, I thought that I would be skipping to the next. I've used epoxy in the past but not in this way. I must say I'm very impressed! It looks easy to do and the effects could be endless. They did a beautiful job on those countertops. The only thing I would be concerned with is the waste. All of the stuff running and dripping down the sides. I'm sure the product is pricey. I can't wait to try it out!
It is a trick. They have left a bunch of things out that are required!! They are utterly dishonest. I know, they got to me and I (unfortunately) purchased one of their kits. A YUGE mistake.
That would add value to any home up for sale 👍🏻👍🏻 this is a real high end finish , stunning . And the option to have any colour combos you want . Impressive to say the least ♥️
Great technique! Stunningly beautiful! Can this tolerate heat from the bottom of a pan coming off the stove? Can it tolerate knife cuts? How about acid from eggs or lemon juice? How should this be maintained? What did doing this kitchen cost?
Even though it broke my heart to see you paint over that beautiful marble design this turned out really cool. You should call that kit “Northern Lights”.
Absolutely IMPRESSIVE and beautiful job!!! as an artist myself, I applaud your creativity and final result. I truly hope that I'll be able to find a professional team to lay epoxy on our new construction in TN

Wow,I’m impressed,so professionally done,I enjoyed how you explained everything in details, you made it seemed so easy to do, one just have to have patience and passion to do it.My Papa created a similar effect on our dining table back in the 80s,he painted white and then he covered it with lacquer varnish and the final outcome was awesome, like the one you did! Thanks so much!🤓
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. I just began renovate my old kitchen in my even older home and I definitely going to make some amazing designed counter top with your kind help.
WOW!!! That was absolutely amazing. I just got done remodeling my kitchen and i would have loved to have a showpiece counter like this. I don't think i would be brave enough to try this on my own though. I loved watching the video from start to finish. I am so impressed!!
Beautiful!!!!! An hour well spent! My question is will this work on any countertop? You did it on marble it seems but can you do it on wood, laminates, etc? And how costly is it? The finished product is absolutely gorgeous!!
I have been wanting to watch a video where it is done on marble or granite, otherwise all the about 2 dozen videos that I saw were on glass and wood. So dediNitely it can be done on other surfaces. Infact I saw one on mdf board and one one foam too.
I’m very proud of you. You did a beautiful job. I don’t mind one day trying to I used to do marble painting in the wall when I was much younger it’s a good idea. Thank you sharing this with us. I love to learn. God bless you have a blessing life continue do more beautiful work love it try doing white I love white white marble.
Nice video , great job , looks very cool ...... love the "no torching" !!!!! ..... How well does epoxy hold up to heat and scratches etc etc , and how much does a gallon cost apprx ??? THOSE are my two biggest questions
Amazing job that's done by your free hands, I had saw so many projects but it is another level, love you so much to upload this video, wards are not enough to appreciate you I pray for you, may ALLAH give you more talent, thank you once more.
How do you address backsplashes? Eliminating them altogether will lead to water damage problems down the road. For comparison purposes, what was the cost of materials for this project? Also, how long should one plan to be without a working kitchen?
That is beautiful. Not sure that I could do that. Question.... My friend is wondering if you can do this over um an old mobile home countertop. We think it is some kind of laminate over a wooden frame. Could send a picture.??????
I stumbled onto this video through Facebook and glad I did. Purchased an older home with what seems to be made of resin. Wife and I have been discussing replacing the countertops throughout to get the colors that complement our interior paint scheme. Watched a lot of your videos - this is my new favorite. You mentioned a denatured alcohol mist - first I've seen that. Was it really denatured alcohol and not isopropyl alcohol? Did you clean off residue before topcoat (unlike isopropyl, denatured leaves a little residue after evaporating). I'm about to put down one of your kits on a garage floor (arriving today!) and love how the denatured alcohol made the finish so smooth, just want to make sure it won't mess up the bonding of the top coat. Maybe a light soapy water rinse to remove any denatured alcohol residue before topcoat, or maybe just a light dry wipe with paper towels???
At 5:34 for me.. I find it fascinating. Being from a manufacturing family and history of our own. My dad taught Plastics at LA Trade Tech. In the '70's.. I also was quality control, but after having 17 years experience before that.. This is Art. In another case .fascinating..
Awesome video I’m pretty much sold !!! I will be doing my own concrete countertops very soon , my only question and concern is how does your product hold up to a accidental lay down of a hot pan or splattered grease from cooking on the stove ??? Hope this isn’t a stupid question but Is there a extra hardener that can be added if your product is vulnerable to heat or hot grease or do you have another product that is resistant if that’s the case ??
Hi. I'm not sure if you have been awnsered yet. And it is a good question. I'm not sure myself, although I do know that the surface is durable enough to heat up to +-150°C. For example you can compare it to hospital flooring are usually done with more or less the same stuff. I'll try think of another example and add it. Please correct me if I am wrong about this. 😎🤷
No intention to do process but it’s so unique I had to see it through. My daughter does home Reno’s and this is right up her alley. Going to recommend she watch it too. Very thorough explanation.
AMAZING so interesting. I was hooked within the first few seconds. I would LOVE to do this. Massive well done guys and thank you for sharing your skills.
It was a lie. The actual application videos show that a ton more work is required than they portray here!! When I complained to them about this their response was "yeah, those videos are to promote our product not show actual installation"!!! They are the scum of the Earth.
Epoxy can be used on fiberglass, Kevlar, wood, cloth, and even on cockroaches for an ironically hygienic restaurant, it's usually very brittle so thick layering is advised
Thank You Very Much. Got many ideas on how to use your products, not for countertops, but for a miniature garden of tini plants and a river across ..for my gkids.. Awesome your Countertop .
Gorgeous 😍 Looks like fun just to imagine what it will look like after. Beautiful job and you make it look so easy too..Very entertaining to watch. Thank you
Oh wow, this can be used to repair the old and cracked body of the old guitars and basses. People throw-away those to the dumpster. But with an epoxy product like this, it can be revived.
Careful, they are lying about the preparation! It is much more extensive than they claim and you might not even be able to make it stick. They are truly scum.
My absolutely favorite colors. So IMO That is NOT RUST. That is COPPER. That is NOT AQUA-GREEN. That is TEAL. OK so the black is Black or Midnight Pearl. Beautiful effect and grreat video.

@@tarascreativeflow2763 yes that was my conclusion. He said, they're in a big warehouse, they're not covering up stone.
LOL
Agree
Yes, i did! My home is only 4 yrs old. I do lots of epoxy, its always good to find what other kinds are available. That's why I watched the entire video..
Absolutely beautiful work! From the very start of the video I was wondering how you'll do the edges, *never* expected them to form by themselves =)
It is fantastic

TYLER YOU DID A AWESOME JOB, I WAS SO AMAZED, I LOVE THE COLORS YOU USED, THIS IS SO SO BEAUTIFUL, I LOVED WATCHING YOU. !
That would add value to any home up for sale 👍🏻👍🏻 this is a real high end finish , stunning . And the option to have any colour combos you want . Impressive to say the least ♥️
Beautiful job! Thanks for sharing your secrets to making an amazing design.
🤩 wow amazing, I can’t find the words to describe my feeling , I am inlove with it. Great job guys
I love it beautiful guys i would like to have mine done also
Great technique!
I've seen northern lights. They look nothing like this. Not to say this doesn't look very nice.
Very interesting at the end. I would have never thought to pull the tape while still wet in order to match the edges! Love this.
Absolutely IMPRESSIVE and beautiful job!!! as an artist myself, I applaud your creativity and final result.
I truly hope that I'll be able to find a professional team to lay epoxy on our new construction in TN
It will require professionals. This kit is about as DIY as brain surgery. They are lying scum.
@@Marshallgill Eh, how was that not simple, it looked easy as
@@MrOrangeonion just start with a small piece first. Like an end table. It’s not hard. Just have to follow instructions and practice. That other guy is mean
After watching many, many "how to" videoes on epoxy uses, this one is, beyond a doubt, the best and most informative of all! The guys doing the counter top explained in detain how to get your desired effect! I'm anxiously awating more of their videos!

Thanks so much!🤓
Definitely 👍 👍.
Two thumbs up!!!

U need an experienced guy to do this. And lots of patience. Got tired watching. Not yr average diy.
You can do anything!

Amazing…Liquid diamonds totally pulled everything together. I would never do my countertops, but hire someone❤️
I'm the same way. But I think it would be fun to try out on a coffee table, to get a feel for it
Beautiful!!!!!
That finished product was absolutely stunning. Well done!
Exquisite!!

This is the most beautiful countertop I have ever seen that wasn't real stone. So unique!
What a wonderful demo with a beautiful finish, True art work
Nice video , great job , looks very cool ...... love the "no torching" !!!!! ..... How well does epoxy hold up to heat and scratches etc etc , and how much does a gallon cost apprx ??? THOSE are my two biggest questions
The best instructor I have ever listened to. Thanks
Thanks! We appreciate your support💯
Great video! Question: is there any concern for scratches from the finished product?
That is beautiful. Not sure that I could do that. Question.... My friend is wondering if you can do this over um an old mobile home countertop. We think it is some kind of laminate over a wooden frame. Could send a picture.??????
@@christinedrum7211 you can even use plywood
I stumbled onto this video through Facebook and glad I did. Purchased an older home with what seems to be made of resin. Wife and I have been discussing replacing the countertops throughout to get the colors that complement our interior paint scheme. Looks like this product will save us on installing granite or marble countertops.

Absolutely gorgeous. Slate, marble, granite, quartz, have never impressed me enough to spend the money...too bad I'm not good at DIY or I would order!
With our step by step tutorials, you too can do this!
Granite is all I had in my home, good granite is beautiful. This gives it a run for its money. I’m wondering how tough is it, chip resistant?
I am picturing that counter with a hand hammered copper farm sink and copper faucets 😍❤️🇨🇦
In another case
.fascinating..
Thank you! Your feedback is appreciated!
I dont know how I got here but I am entertained! That was very cool! 👍🏽
I would love to see test kits, that can be tested on sample pieces of wood prior to working on your counter tops
Yes! We have sample kits available also if you'd like to test out the epoxy. Here's the link to those: leggari.com/store/#sample-kits
I loved it ! It’s just art for the kitchen !!!! Amazing !!!
This demo was awesome. I wasn't committed to looking at this for its entirety but I was awe struck. Cool. Can epoxy be used on canvas, boards or wood.
Such a fun idea! Be sure to send us photos of your finalized product. We love to see what customers use our products for!
Can this be used on laminate countertops? Loving your videos so far 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️

One of the most beautiful kitchen counters I've ever seen 🖤🧡💙
I am from Me'xico, and can say, that is a beautiful job. Thanks you by to teach me.
im building my house i can apply that amazing technique. thank you so much. great works!
Very informative, not too long either, you guys did a great job keeping it moving and interesting, well done.
That is just so amazing. Friend has worked with Epoxy for a long time and even he was impressed. Amazing.
