Love everything about you guys. If I had to add anything I would say next time show a clearer side-by-side comparison. I think the viewers would really dig the value in seeing the subtle differences right next to each other. Thank you for being awesome!!! YOU GOT THIS!!! ;)
Great suggestion! I'll let Chris know 👍
Love this color scheme! And the exotic pour is my favorite . . . although the hand-melded on the blue was my favorite.
Loved both before the alcohol. The colors are gorgeous!
Good call out! I show my customers a color recipe with and without the alcohol for this very reason, some love it and some don't. Thanks so much for watching!
You guys are bad ass!! The fact that you show it all from beginning to end, step by step is just letting me know that you're able to share the talent, the know how and the wealth if one chooses to start a business. I appreciate all the videos, and believe me...ALL the videos I've watched, and are a new learning experience each time. Love from Tehachapi, CA. Take care and DRIVE SAFE!!
Love this comment! Thanks so much for taking the time to drop that for me! Have you worked with the epoxy yet? I want to send you a free prize, you made my day with that kind comment!!! email me you shipping address and I'll get something bad ass headed your way! mitch@stonecoatcountertops.com
You guys make it look so easy! Thanks for all the tutorials
I am starting to like the exotic poor more and more. It seams to keep me out of the mud stage.❤
When you get muddy with the hand meld, add some more color blobs and barley meld then hit with isopropyl
I have a camper counter top requesting a new look. This has a wood trim edge which is just in my way. Would you try to stay with the wood edge? If so tips please. Or would I be better off to just let the epoxy run over the edge? Your thoughts please on this?
What do i ask for when ordering this with earth tones
The exotic poor is absolutely gorgeous
Thank you so much for your kind words! I completely agree, the exotic poor is truly stunning. It's one of my favorite things to showcase on my channel.
I like the exotic pour best. I thought the bronze would be overpowering, but it didn't. Perfect mix of colors.
The hand meld is my favorite. Both are beautiful.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the hand meld. It's definitely one of my favorite techniques too.
Oh!!! This is what I am looking for!!! “Petrified wood” look!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I’m loving 🥰 the exotic pour. Fabulous job!!! ❤
I love this color profile!
Thanks guy I like both tops.
Still trying to decide what colors I want for my kitchen. I have done the countertops in laundry room and my kitchen table. They are doing great😊
Love hearing stuff like this! Thanks for sharing your projects turned out great! You Got This!!! Let me know if you'd like me to demo some colors on a video for you! Thanks for subscribing
Just beautiful both of them. Thanks!!!
Exotic pour is beautiful!
Hand made design is my favorite
Me too, I like having a little more control. However, some of my best installs were Exotic Pours! Thanks for stopping by, have you worked with our epoxy yet?
Liked both of them
Opět nádherná práce. Gratuluji k tvému talentu 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the exotic pour colours are amazing.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you love the colors in the pour.
Exotic pour. Nice natural colors! Good tips. Thanks
That's what I chose too
Amazing finish as always
A pleasure as always
Thanks I plan on redoing all my counters in your product.
Email me at mitch@stonecoatcountertops.com if you any questions at all, and happy coating to you!
gorgeous! ❤❤❤
I like the exotic pour.
Looks awesome for both but I do favor the exotic pour!
That was my favorite too, thanks!
You guys are amazing
You are an Artist. Thanks for that video.
Wow, thank you! Thanks for subscribing as well!!!
Beautiful
Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate your support.
Not a brown gal per say but I LOVE this application! Rich, elegant, glam. Plus it looks like so much fun to be creative with so many effects. A bit of alcohol is good. When I do a large project like this I either save the tried skins or make smaller items like bookmarks, key chains, ornatments, notebook covers. Waste not want not ;) Thank you for sharing!
Hermoso trabajo se sobrepasa el talento Felicidades .....
¡Muchas gracias amigo por tomarte el tiempo de hacerme saber que te gusta mi trabajo! ¿Has trabajado con epoxi antes? Déjame saber si tienes alguna pregunta, ¡gracias por mirar y por el amable comentario! Hablaré contigo más tarde
it's simply wonderful! Congratulations from Brazil.
Muitobrigado!
I like the clean organic look of the exotic pour without the alcohol....btw, how do you clean your mixing paddles?
You guys are awesome!
Joe

Hey there, first time I have watched one of your vids/tutorials. Great job... learned a lot, and you are a great host... 🎉
Welcome aboard! Subscribe so you don't miss a show!
love both of them before and after you spray the alcohol. I am going to buy your kit to redo my kitchen table and coffee table.
Yes!!!! You Got This!!! Let me know if you have any questions!
@@StoneCoatCountertops thank you so much and yes I will reach out to you when my wife and decide what colors she want the table to be.
Awesome!
Thought I was going to like the hand-meld one better, but now I'm not sure. They both look great!!
hey guys now I see wait you are blessing.....thanks for your videos extra big hug
I couldn't choose my favorite...they are both amazing! Quick ?...can epoxy resin be used on a metal filing cabinet? I have an old one I was thinking about restoring and was waffeling between using acrylic paint with a dirty pour technique but you guys make me want to epoxy resin my whole house!!!
Both look great. I like the second one for floors. It's perfect, to blend in with walls, and furniture. Might be difficult to use fingers on a floor area.
Cool idea! What tool would replicate a finger?!?!?!
That's cool
I’ve had really enjoyed your videos. I have also noticed that you do either exotic, poor or hand meld. Curious if you ever do hand meld on an exotic pour?
Both ❤
Both methods are great, but if I really have to choose, I prefer without alcohol ❤
Thanks for stopping by!
Can I use denatured alcohol to pop the bubbles or do I have to use a torch?
Should I sand my cured pour before applying a clear coat of epoxy? How many ounces of clear coat should I use per sq ft?
I'd love to ask a question and i hope you can help.
I made a small epoxy table, but it's too thick.
Thick enough to turn it into 2 tables.
How could i go about cutting in in half on the 3" side?
looking great!
can i use 99% isopropyl?
Mitch, how would this look on a maple wood end table and coffee table set? 🤔 It is approximately from the 50s. I believe it is maple wood with varnish on top. The base is in fairly good condition with a single tongue and groove drawer. The tops have had hard use for a long time. I was just thinking of applying epoxy to the top because the base is fairly solid and in good condition for the age. That is a beautiful wood tone countertop marble!!
Nice , I would like to try that on the bathroom floor.
That's a great idea!!!
Can I exotic pour a large U shaped kitchen in one go? Or should I do in sections?
Is diamond dust a color? Can I add it to a copper for more sparkle? Will it change the color of my copper?
Good
did you put the alcohol on exotic pour? i did not see you doing that but i see the effect has the alcohol. am i right? can i order the package and how much do i need
Can't help but wonder if the gold dust in isopropyl would enhance the hand meld.... 🙏🔥⚒️🧙🏼♂️
PS I love the dirty pour in this particular pour
Bling overload incoming! ⚠😆🚨
You don’t need 91% iso always. I do it with 70% and does great as well
Epoxy hardens fast just after mixing with mica powders and metallic color and unable to work for a kitchen counter top for about 32 sft.?
Outside temp. was below 72F.
1:1 (0.5gal) : (0.5gal) mixed separately before mixing with colors separately in a small cups.
After researching it's noticed
exothermic reaction ...
*Timer
*Volume
*Temperature.
What is your advice to avoid the fast hardening when mixing with colors?
🙏
Can you use 91% denatured instead of torch?
What kind of wood would you use for the base
The wood we would use most often is 3/4" MDF, usually with an 1/8" round over on the edges, to help the epoxy flow; also two coats of our undercoat and sanding between coats for the very best result.
@@StoneCoatCountertops Do you have a step-by-step book. Video?
Do you have any affiliates in Nashville Tennessee that can do my countertops and floors?

Deep pour favorit
Thanks for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
1st job thats aswom mich
Looks good ...what do you use for the Clearcoat at the end of the process?
Another layer of clear epoxy and then UTC for a durable finish!
Beat me by a half hour 😆
@@michaeloliver6745 thank you for info
@StoneCoatCountertops you guys are awesome and do amazing work...making the impossible....possible.
I really like exotic pours. And dislike alcohol being added.
Chikilli.. you should have shown the complete cured board...
sir how are you i am from kashmir your video is excellent and very good please write the name of all these products if you have used them
We made a countertop with your kit. Part of the countertop is still tacky and it’s been almost a month any tips?
Thanks for reaching out. Tacky epoxy is caused from under mixing. You can lightly sand the hard epoxy with 220 and clean the dust and apply 3 ounces per square foot of clear epoxy mixed correctly, that should cure up the tacky epoxy below
@@StoneCoatCountertops thank you! We mixed for roughly 5 minutes before pouring the final coat
Influence I'm switching to the new business now but still in progress
Epoxy used in both projects are same or different?
Same epoxy both projects just a different technique used
Just answered my own ? Rock edge is the best.
Nice colors but I lean more towards "Less is more". Fewer colors and no white is my preference.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the white either! Thanks for stopping by
❤
супер 👌
I want to do this but so afraid I’m froze
U GOT THIS!!!!!!! How can I help you? U can do this!
Where's the other guy?
Mike has retired from Stone Coat, but still makes videos on his own channel
Alcohol makes everything better
Exotic poor
I love it before you use the alcohol. But I love the exotic piece.🧡🤎🖤🤍
Thanks!
Beautiful
