    When I was little and would watch Bob Ross take a beautiful painting and start adding random brush strokes, I would shout "stop! you're ruining it" But then he would have a beautiful field of happy little trees. Watching Mike work and you would think he is ruining a beautiful counter top by adding more color but then it turns out beautiful. Mike, you sir are the Bob Ross of Epoxy.

      Perfect home for Stone Coat Epoxy, you can go right over your old tops with no demo. Sometimes removing the countertops in a modular home can lead to tons of rebuilding of the cabs. It's best to go right over old tops in a modular. Let me know if you have any questions along the way, I'd love to help get your tops renewed!

    Dear Stone Coat Countertops Recently, I was walking by the graveyard and saw with great sadness that some people do not have a headstone.
    In my opinion everyone is special and deserve their fame.
    This gave me an idea to make epoxy Stone Coat tombstones and engrave the name with a CNC and refill it with gold epoxy.
    To be able to donate a memorial to their deceased loved one at a cheap price.
    Can you research the possibilities of whether the epoxy is able to withstand elements of nature?

    • @mitchquist
      @mitchquist 2 года назад +1

      Great idea! I noticed the same thing the other day, my kids wanted to go through an old historic graveyard here in Southern Oregon. The problem you'd run into covering wood with epoxy then putting it outside would be the expansion and contraction of the wood with the elements.

    • @20kilovolt

      No idea if the epoxy wud last I'm guessing it wud, but concrete with epoxy wud work much better then the wood because of mother nature lol, but you have an amazing idea in general good job

      @20kilovolt 2 года назад +1

      @@travisdopheide6735 Thank you Travis, In the country where I live (Netherlands) you often have a rental grave for no more than 12 years.
      In my opinion a tombstone of natural stone is unnecessary and expensive, this may be a reason that the grave remains nameless.
      It would be nice if there would be a product for this purpose and otherwise for 5 years and if necessary we will make a new one for the remaining 5 years.

      I just shot a marble color sample with some of our Pink Metallic powder, it turned out fantastic. That video is still in production and will be dropping soon! I used White Metallic, White Dye, Pearl Metallic, Pink Metallic and a very small amount of Alloy Metallic in an exotic pour and it looked 🔥🔥

      @@mitchquist Thanks Mitch. I want to see all those new techniques applied to that old counter top. It was great seeing how much you guys have improved not only your custom countertop process but also seeing how much you guys improved in your video making process. I have watch them quite a bit for about two years without ever doing a project myself. 🙈

      @@StoneCoatCountertops no I haven't yet... but I manage my hair salon and I was thinking about doing the counters of the nail stations here. There's only 2 so it wouldn't be too big of a project. I'm wondering though how it would hold up to having acetone spilled on it and acrylic nail liquid... nail polish etc. Maybe put a piece of clear glass on top.

    I really need you guys to collect the dripped off stuff into a mold/form and give to your local woodturner, or turn it yourself. These bowls etc are amazing. I made myself a "mold" out of 2 cheap metallic bowls (from a set of different sizes). Love your videos, gonna try the same with some leftover e45 the next days. Might order from you depending on shipping costs to germany next time.

    Did my first pour of clear on a 2X4 laundry counter and it turned out great. A little soft after about 3 days but I know it will harden. I will definitely order the UTC soon for when I do my kitchen counters. Watching the amazing exotic pours inspires me to give it a try, although I'm going for marble for my kitchen. I might try an exotic for the bath vanity which now has a cheap, 1/2 inch fake stone, plastic top. It's an under-mount sink and I'm afraid it will still look cheap being so thin so maybe I rebuild it with MDF?! Oh yeah, the vanities you guys just did, I loved the blue veins as well as the fire orange colors...just awesome!
