THE SUBSTRATE
Prepping the surface of the countertops is easy. Most surfaces just need to be sanded (80-100 Grit) then wiped clean. Granite and Marble will need the sealer removed. Tile will need the grout lines filled with Bondo and sanded smooth before applying our Countertop Kits.

EPOXY PRIMER COAT
Priming the Countertops is simple and fast. Mix your pre-measured primer then dip and roll the pigmented primer across the surface until the countertop surface is completely covered. Wait 1 hr. (or until tacky and not coming off to the touch) and start applying the Base Coat.
METALLIC EPOXY COAT
There are so many different applications for our metallic epoxy coat. In this video, we show you the dirty pour technique. When you place your order you'll receive step by step tutorial videos that will show you how to apply this part depending on the look you're going for!
HIGH WEAR TOP COAT
We offer 2 different Performance Engineered Top Coats. Glaze Coat is our High Build Top Coat that lays out like glass and adds depth to the Countertop. The Urethane Top Coat comes with the option to have a High Gloss or Matte finish. It needs to be rolled out super thin and leaves a minor texture on the countertop. This is my favorite epoxy video I have seen so far, the other drawn on veins just look like a cheap art project, but this looks like real marble
This I believe, is one of your prettiest color combos! One of my favorites, thanks.
I totally like the dispersed effect with the iso propyl that is how I like it 👀😳😊I was watching the video of 05/11/2023 and it recommend to watch this video next so I’m here supporting the channel watching the entire video and giving like and comment and sharing with friends and family Saludos!!!👋👋😃👋
Absolutely beautiful!
Best looking countertop I’ve seen after watching tons of them great job guys
Absolutely beautiful
turned out amazing
Actually, what you covered up was absolutely beautiful. 👍🏼
im sure these are demos
I think that was epoxy too so they’re going over old demos
these are amazing, rock solid, nothing beats it
I've watched videos for 3 years...BEST EVER
Best video yet !
Awesome job
and when you make it look that easy... you know it's that hard
We've made the kits DIY friendly with step by step tutorial videos that show you how to install! And sample kits also so you can see how easy it is before purchasing a full kit.
Lmaooo wow i was so inspired and now your comment made me laugh out loud
@@cristalbencosme6821 I've attempted epoxy a few times. It's an art for sure. It's easy to do and also easy to screw up. BUT... I'm very picky so that's part of the issue as well.
They literally take the screwing up part out of it. Their kits are great. I have only done epoxy 1 time on roughly 80 sq ft of counter space and I followed their instructions 100% and it came out amazing.
@@stelthy3450 I would like to redo my sinks in the master bath. They need a color change and I can't just buy another sick because they are a unique shape and length that places just don't sell. I will give the smaller one a go and hope it's good and if it is... I can tackle the big one!
Both effects are good but the dispersing effect really brings home the 'natural' look.
I swear you guys make it look so easy..lol But results are beautiful. I like the less cell look for the counter top. But I do like the cells more on floors.
It's beautiful
Beautiful
Love it!! Will do that on my table ❤️
You should!
beautiful countertops thanks guys for the video
Thanks for watching!🔥
Check out this beautiful countertop we used a different technique on 👉ruclips.net/video/vSNsMQXdb6Q/видео.html
Very cool
This is beautiful! I sorta liked it before you sprayed it the first time but the cells are interesting. I'd be the one who would want a controlled spray with the Isopropyl alcohol in small areas. This might be a great option for us - hubby loves stone that leans brown and I love marble and stones that lean gray....
Awesome thanks for your input!
Sir your very nic work epoxy I like you and your work sir I am your very big fan,
That looks AMAZING ❤
Thank you! and Thanks for watching🔥
I need this in my kitchen!😍
Check out the kit for this countertop here!👇 It really is beautiful😍
leggari.com/product/leggari-stone-kit-12/
This counter style the best
Isn't it beautiful😍🔥
Love this look. If I wanted to do just a top of the table could I wait for the epoxy to cure a little more so that it does not drip but is not fully cured?
Good stuff 👍🏽
Thank you!
The one in the blue shirt is cute and creative.
Maganda sya super😍👍👍👍gusto ko ganito sa floring ng magiging bahay ko.😂
Pangarap lng nmn🙏🙏🙏
LOVE!!
🔥🔥
Kyle has got this down! Ive watched all your videos multiple times and this one ranks at the top. Those subtle veins can be tough to create sometimes and you guys nailed it! Really gorgeous result and this is the type of patterns/colors I get asked most for. I'd love to see more!
Thanks for putting out these tutorials for us.
This is nice! Do the counters start to yellow if exposed to the sun?
I like the affect with the isopropyl. Also, I'd like to see a combination of jet black, a tan (or camel), white, and grey or silver. One question, when are the new colors going to be added to the website color chart?
It’s all beautiful but I think I like the tighter vein.
That white coat just SCREAMS MY TEETH IS YELLOW ASF 🤣🤣💀 but I’m in love with this AMAZING 🔥🔥🔥💪🏽
Thank you!
Ok so tht technique u did in this video, can it be used with the floor? Or do u HAVE to add the color last?
Wow
Is your epoxy and top coat UV resistant to prevent ambering/yellowing?
What’s the adding total thickness to consider for this finish?
This is so awesome! Exactly the Top I would like to do! Problem is, that I live in Germany and I don’t know if I can get your sets here. So question would be, could I follow the same steps with materials I can get here?
Hi, nice video, i have a question, ig we turn the a/c off, will that give us more time to work with the epoxy?
Excelente cómo todos los demás, en sus trabajos no aplican calor con el soplador térmico?
¡Si, gracias!
🔥🔥🔥❤️
mantul 👍
Amazing work. One question: Is it durable if I do it on a countertop in Pizza shop. I mean daily use for dough etc... directly on the counter?
I must say the final look is very nice indeed. Will definetly consider this as I am going to paint my granite countertops.
Question: does it matter if my counterops have slightly rounded edges. on the
That's perfect you actually want rounded edges so that the epoxy can flow over and coat the faces of your countertop!
Woooow yo😢 viendo que el acabado de abajo estaba perfecto 👌
Did you use brown rather than grey? Do you use masking tape on edges rather than painters tape? Is it because it's stronger?
Hi , it looks gorgeous!!! I would like to know if that could be done over the black granite?
Yes it can!
What about if your counter goes up the backsplash a little bit?
what do you do to an existing Formica counter top with hard 90 degree edge? I am sanding the Formica surface and priming it as you do. Do I lightly sand the edge to round it a bit or use a small router edge or remove the formica edge completely? i was told it should be rounded slightly so epoxy can flow over edge easier. Looks great. Tks
I have the same question!
if you don't sell the white pigmented epoxy any longer, how do i mix the white legardi effects into the clear metallic epoxy, to make the base?
Cuánto tiempo dejan para dejar caer lo bordes
Can you do this technique on cabinet the doors?
what about a 4" back splash? I have a very small project to try on a 2x4 bath vanity.
Nice prep work. My dads a professional painter.
So he knows how it's done! Thank you!
It's a nice job, I want to start my own project, where can I buy epoxy materials in South Africa
هل يتحمل كل الاعراض الموجوده في المطبخ من حرارة ورطوبه هذا النوع من الطلاء ؟
Can I use this for the bathtub
Do you have to remove the sink? Or could you do it in place
Nice but l want know after finish whate spreading material over the epoxy surface
What is the best tape to use?
Do u have to sand down ever before priming ?
Perfect tutorial, guys! How much product will be required for a 9.5ft x 14ft room? I'd like to cover the ceramic tiles in my master closet. Ty in adv.
Hello! For the price and amount of product you will need, you can select a kit here leggari.com and input your square footage. We'll do the hard part of calculating how much product you need and ship it right to you 💯
Also, here is a video on how we coat over tile 👉 ruclips.net/video/_R0Y5kB-iCY/видео.html
I see most people hit this with a torch after to dissipate any bubbling, was this step needed for this??
When do you pull the tape for the sink and the backsplash area? Same time as the edges?
No! Not till the next day at the earliest!
Beautiful, do you come back with a topcoat? Why if I don’t want it shiny, if I want a mat finish?
Yes we always recommend one of are urethane topcoats. It comes in matte or gloss with or without out grit additive which gives a very slight sandpaper texture that helps with slip and scratch resistance, it also takes a bit of the shine off the gloss if you add the grit to the gloss!
@@LeggariProducts can i paint a metallic epoxy floor at night.?
MARRY MEEEE!!!!!!!
How do you know how much epoxy you will need for the color coat and the top coat
Do you have anything that i can apply to a late nineties cultured marble vanity top (with single sink) in my bathroom? It's that yellow-ish cultured marble that was popular back in the day. It's 55 inches wide (long) and 22 inches deep (wide) depending on how you look at it. It has a built in rear backsplash , and it has the optional left-side splash that is a separate piece. I have no idea which way to go on color but I'll probably do white-gray-ish pattern for some new VINYL Floor tile. So I'm looking for color ideas. The Vanity is the real maple wood (smooth) , so it's a very light stain brown color and very nice wood but I'll paint that whatever would go with the Top Epoxy coating color decision.
What kit # is this ..... I like it
Can you do this same technique over wood or laminate?
Would also like to know this..please!!
How much material do you use per square meter?
I'm torn between choosing silver or brown as the brown looks like a subtle gray to me. Help!
Can this be done over existing granite? What about the backsplash (6")?
I have this exact same question
What kit is this I want to order this exact one
You don’t need to take the shine of sander before the primer??
Absolutely stunning. Looks like $$$ Quartz that would cost a fortune in that thickness. This formula is a winner for clients looking for a contemporary white fish with subtle coloration.
Now, gloss or matte top coat? Would love to see it with matte.
was thinking the same thing. I"m going to to a coffee table the same way but with gold veins.
The finished product is beautiful, but I wish you would have addressed the problem of staining with epoxy. Even leaving a coffee cup that leaves a ring stains permanently, not to mention wine. Do you have a resolution for that? Also, it's handy to line the bottom of the counter edges with packing tape and that way you don't have to wait and continually walk around scraping the bottom.
yeah I thought there was supposed to be a top coat....
🤩🤩🤩
Where can I order this exact kit ?
My kitchen is about the same size as the example. Is there some kit providing everything I need to get this result.
Yes! You can view our countertop kits here 👉 leggari.com/order-countertops/#standard-epoxy-kits
Why did you mist it with denatured alcohol???
I love this effect but I was surprised you used brown for the veining and not black, is there a specific reason for that?
I want to do this at home and so would love to know please?
Liza 🤗
It's all personal preference! On our website you can see that we offer pre-made kits with set colors but offer a custom kit option as well. Check them out! 👉 leggari.com/order-countertops/#standard-epoxy-kits
What about the tape on the back splash? How do you pull it so it doesn't screw up your epoxy or the back wall
It's best to pull it before the resin is completely cured, that way no tape gets stuck in the hard resin against the wall. Also, we don't recommend a suuuper strong tape. Painter's tape does just fine👍
Can this method be used for a tile countertop. By the way job well done 👍🏾.
Yes it absolutely can be as long as the tile surface is prepped properly! Thank you!
What if I want someone to come do it and I pay.
Does your product yellow after a while, what do you use to prevent yellowing?
Yes all epoxy ambers, but you only really notice it in white and clear, but paired with our urethane topcoat that are UV stable you have an added layer of protection!
my countertops are about the same size. how many 3 gallon kits did this take?
1, 3 gallon kit coated this kitchen!
Wow, that's beautiful ! Any classes in Sarasota, Fla. area ?
Thank you! We no longer offer in person classes but we will be launching an online academy soon! 👉 leggariacademy.com
I am so glad I found your videos. I have done my countertop using Giani, but I don't like the result. I plan to redo it using the Stone Coat, but it requires so many tools specifically the torch. Before I purchase the Stone Coat, I saw your video. Looks like you made it so easy and the result looks so beautiful. I will look more videos before I purchase. Thank you.
We have hundreds of videos on our channel and are coming out with new videos weekly and check out our kits at Leggari.com that come with the most in-depth step by step tutorials way more in-depth then our RUclips videos! I cook all the time. Professional recipe developer. My kitchen gets a work out. How long does this last? How durable is it?
It is a very durable coating that will last for years to come, we have a very extensive durability test launching in the next week or so. So be on the look out it will answer all your questions!
You need to be careful with Your colors. If you are a Constant cooker I would stay away with white next to your stove Because it will take on a color Something between an Amber/ dark yellowish look... Of course it can be sanded and A top coat added again
But you can only do that a Once or twice before you're into your color coat.....
Came for the project, stayed for the guy 🤭🤣
What material is the surface of the kitchen cabinet made of so you can pour epoxy on it?
You can pour the epoxy on wood, formica, concrete, granite!

I just moved in my home with Epoxy countertops. I would keep them but they are black and brown swirls in a very dark kitchen. Can I Epoxy over them? If not, do you have another product that will work over them? Thank you!
Do they have any scratches or wrinkles? I want to do mine but I'm concerned
Also, no heat gun or blow torch??
marble counter or woooden?
Very Beautiful
Thank you!
