    I've been watching so many videos on epoxy marble countertops & you broke this down & also showed that the most expensive kits are not necessary! Your countertops look amazing & I'm very thankful for you explaining everything so perfectly & not making it hard to understand or overwhelming! You definitely have a gift, thank you again for such a helpful video!! I have dark/black granite countertops so seeing actual granite countertops was very helpful also! I love watching other busy Mom's taking on these DIY projects. I feel like we can be more honest about the difficulty & how to handle taking on the task as you explained truthfully about having to stop to take care of your child along with the time importance of the curing process and having someone help with the children if possible!
    Thanks again for such a wonderful & helpful video! Looking forward to watching more of your videos!!

    You’re so darned talented!!!!! Thank you for your generous and thorough tutorial, it really is the very best out there and all in one video! As an artist, I feel I want to scream this tip to any DIYers out there trying to do what you’ve accomplished…talking about epoxy types/brands, it’s important to pay that extra bit of money for artist grade epoxy so it doesn’t oxidize over time and turn yellow. Imagine how bummed you’d be to see all your hard work slowly turn yellow. Just like kitchen cabinets that have been painted white with oil based paints, epoxy will also turn yellow from UV exposure if not using the right type. “You get what you pay for” also holds true for epoxy. Cheers to you, I’m going to check out all your RUclips amazingness now!

    • @LifeWithQueenii
      @LifeWithQueenii  2 года назад +2

      @@LifeWithQueenii you’re clearly a very smart and pragmatic, analytical detective! I absolutely love, how you explained everything the way you do! I love this video so much. I am in the middle of redoing the exact same counter tops. I did my master bath first. I watched another of you videos, which was a huge help with my painting. I hate cutting in. Lol I did do my master counter tops with the kit you get online. I will never do that again. Doesn't hold up. Ugh. Which means now I'm going to have to redo it AGAIN. I have been frustrated with the kitchen for ever. I found your video. AND.... NOW!
    I HAVE A TON OF IDEAS!
    So glad, I didn't get frustrated and hire someone who wasn't going to have my vision. They always say, "oh you shouldn't do that" that way you caught up in a remodel that is overpriced!
    Sorry, I just threw all my business out there.
    I am seriously grateful for your videos. You rock! You are totally empowering for women like me. I know, it can be done. Now! I know how!

    So glad I found you...I'm in the research phase in preparation for redoing my kitchen. Was planning to paint cabinets, walls, and add a tile backsplash and just wait until I could get new countertops.... but now that I see this I think I can tackle the countertops too.I saw a video by another company but it seems a bit overwhelming...your video and how to was very DIY friendly. Thank you!

      Agree and I’m most definitely tackling this project! I too am in the middle of completely remodeling my kitchen! My cabinets are painted and I only need to seal them after they dry(kitchen cabinets I know for fact is the hardest part of a complete remodel and especially if you don’t end up liking a color, such as myself, and I started all over after the cabinets were almost done lol!), my walls are almost completely done as well. I have all the trim to paint yet and the backsplash to do. I want to do something to my ceiling as well and have yet to decide on flooring. I may just wait on flooring until countertops are done and I’ll more than likely hire the floor job out. Good luck to you with your remodel!

    I have seen a lots of people do faux marbling on the internet but honest to God this is the very best I have ever seen, and the detail you go into is so so so informative.such a fantastic job I would challenge anybody to look at that and say that it's actually not real marble. I have some small parlor antique Victoriantables that the marble has been lost broken or whatever I would love to be able to duplicate what you do. But my talent is so limited 😭

    This video was exceptional! Also, I love the fact that I’m watching a woman do this job! My question is, once the job is finished will my granite feel like granite? Or does the epoxy have its own feel? Thank you so much!

    First step in creating veins is exactly what I did in the second step, again there is nothing I can do to get lost /dropped footage/clips. I’m my own camera woman and I had to care for my baby/kids while I filmed and worked on the countertops and had the move and reposition the camera multiple times . Again first step is exactly what I did in second step. Add color blend… add second color blend… make it your own. Have fun and good luck!

      Good afternoon my darling Queen! I love your work in your kitchen and the entire end results. It came out amazing gorgeous and inspiring. I have been researching different products, companies and prices for over two years. You are giving me the strength and the inspiration to do my kitchen my own way and without over spending. Thank you 😊.

      Good beautiful Queen. Blessings to you and your family! My apologies for taking time away from your family with my silly questions. My kitchen is the same size and layout as your, with the exception that I have a breakfast area in the same Granite as well. How many gallons of epoxy did you used in your kitchen? Fore to have an idea of how much products to order. Best wishes to you and your family 👪❤

      @@ubiebee2303 I used two gallons but had 1/2 gallon left over so two gallons should be enough for your entire kitchen. Remember it’s not a thick layer of epoxy when you spread it out. You’ll do fine with 2 gallons but make sure to prepare the kitchen and remember you have about 30-45 minutes to work with the wood before it starts to get thick and set. Let me know if you need anything else and I also appreciate you for acknowledging my family time. 💕

      @@LifeWithQueenii Good afternoon to you and your loved ones ❤💕. I am in bed rest due to a foot surgery, and all I do is to watch videos, take notes and become more informed about the process, but no matter what video or website I watch ; I go back to your channel again and again. I have watched all bathroom and kitchen videos more than ten times. I love ♥ that you take you time to explain the processes, like you are speaking to a frind. Your conversation is sodding and confident. When I clicked on your epoxy link it bring to the same brand as yours but I cannot see what color is the epoxy. I have been looking for same color epoxy that you used, but they have many options and their epoxy is non-returnable. If it is not too much to ask you, I could provide you my email addres for you to send me additional information privately to avoid advertising them. My apologies for taking time away from your beautiful family 👪. Have a blessing day!

    Queeni - this is absolutely stunning. I would like to know exactly what primer and white paint you used. Then also what spray paint were used. Can you please give the pics for that or links? I know you gave the link to the epoxy but can you please show the picture of that as well. I want to ensure I get the right ones.
