Absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't add any other color . Is there a top coat after this ? Thankyou for step by step video , very well explained . Looks amazing.
It works better on counter tops than floors. I did a dirty pour floor with Leggari epoxy and tried using a brief fine mist spray with denatured alcohol but I could only spray it when I could still walk on it with spikes. After spraying it then more bubbles appeared later but I had no access at that point to spray again and there were a lot of bubbles in some areas. Also, despite trying hard to spray as frugally as possible the denatured alcohol substantially altered the appearance of the color pattern. After sanding the bubbles off flush I used crystal clear gorilla glue in a plastic squeeze Bottle with an 18-gauge needle type applicator to fill the bubble holes (then re-sand the top) before applying a top coat.
I would replace the black with a dark chocolate or espresso. The island countertop looks like a combination of butterscotch and caramel over vanilla ice cream. YUM.
I used these very product I had to clean up over 25 individual bubbles on my floors. Just did a 12 inch x 60inch window ledge and still had 2 bubbles. You don't see the bubbles forming until well over 3 hours later. By then you've already left the project. Upon return, there they are staring you in the face. Easier to just torch them in my opinion.
I do resin art and I use a heat gun to help peel off tape, it works really well, I don’t know if yours might be too thick but it can’t hurt to try if you only heat the bits your trying to pull off, hope this helps x
If you tape it at the right hight about 1/8 inch high it will pull really easy the next day, you might have to cut it a little bit if the tape gets stuck in the epoxy or sits more than a day or two!
It looks best when you remove the sink then coat and caulk but you can coat the counter with the sink there. Backsplash-either remove it and coat it separately, coat it while it's attached(the epoxy will have a very vertical dripping design not everyone loves), or just remove the backsplash and install a traditional tile backsplash. You can tape the backsplash-1/8" high and coat up to it as well.
Good afternoon, it is 2:16 pm here in Jamaica. I bought some products here in Jamaica to do my counter top, but I am so afraid of work men here I don't get a good job from them. Can you help me I want to do it myself. Can you tell me what to do Sept by Sept please. I love the counter top you are doing the color is awesome.

Carrrrr Mel., so 2. Gorgeous. I'm definitely going with this. I need to watch you a little more to get the process down, but I'm going with your products. I do have a question: when you were putting the spray canned colors in the medium pots, were you adding the epoxy colors you mixed also? I'm a diy beginner? I'm really trying to get this down so it will look like yours.
Thank you for watching! For this project, we mixed up the epoxy, making different colored batches. We then added the liquid spray paint for extra depth and added it as we saw fit. Know that with every product purchased from Leggari, in-depth tutorials are included showing how to install our products. Although it may be an intimidating process, our goal is to simplify the process so anyone can do it. Best of luck to you!! And also with just this one coat is the countertop durable like scratch resistant heat resistance without needing a flood coat? Or would you still recommend a flood coat
I'm in the UK and we pronounce it carra-mel Even thought it's spelled caramel,to hear Americans say it it sounds like you're saying Corra-mel. Doesn't matter either way,I love the American accent more than my own🤣great video.
Very nice blend of colors and this is not just an installation, it is an art work as well. How is the scratch resistanCe of your urethane top coat compared to the quartz (simulated stone). I plan to do this for my kitchen but I worry more about the durability and scratch resistance than the aestic part. Thank you.
Most other resin companies recommend torching their projects to remove air bubbles. We do not because our resin is engineered to push bubbles to the surface and torching can become hazardous. The first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol; this creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop remaining micro bubbles. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy. As a rule of thumb, which resin you are installing determines your process. For countertop kit options, check this out! 👉leggari.com/order-countertops/ Best of luck!
Bought the large kit and colors already from you huys with the intention of starting with a dark grey or black base then adding an overlay of coffee, and sandalwood then grey to mellow things out Hoping to use the grey to give a smokey look over the rest, any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated
Love your products, how long do you wait to get the foam window seal out from the counter? and if we are using painter's tape how log do we need to wait to take it off? Thank you
When priming the counter tops will it cause a texture problem if the existing counter tops have some texture? The counter tops I’m looking to epoxy aren’t completely smooth they aren’t defects or gouges just the natural texture.
Is all denatured alcohol the same? I see several different kinds in the stores with fuel, glass cleaner, etc behind the words denatured alcohol. Which one is the right one?
Yes! You will want to take into consideration applying extra epoxy to the top and pulling the tape/weather stripping while the epoxy is more fluid so it fully flows over the edge. Contact our customer service for assistance! 1-844-LEGGARI (534-4274) customerservice@leggari.com

It was glass smooth but then applying included gloss top coat added a texture to it. It’s not glass smooth anymore. Is that how gloss topcoat is or did I not do it right? Mine has white so couldn’t do a epoxy flood top coat according to support.

How long should I wait before I mist with denatured?
Give the isopropyl time to evaporate then mist the denatured. You don't want to be flooding the design with too much liquid.

Don't want it to fully cure, but not when it's wet. I take my tape off with in a day. Depends on how fast your epoxy cures.
How is the scratch resistance on the final result?
With our urethane topcoat the epoxy system is very scratch resistant!
Do you have to take counters outside cause of smell...or can you use it inside...
I would love to see a river table made with a dirty pour stone look instead of a typical solid color.

I've noticed you hardly use Red guard on top and bottom of the countertop before you begin. Any reason why?
