    It works better on counter tops than floors. I did a dirty pour floor with Leggari epoxy and tried using a brief fine mist spray with denatured alcohol but I could only spray it when I could still walk on it with spikes. After spraying it then more bubbles appeared later but I had no access at that point to spray again and there were a lot of bubbles in some areas. Also, despite trying hard to spray as frugally as possible the denatured alcohol substantially altered the appearance of the color pattern. After sanding the bubbles off flush I used crystal clear gorilla glue in a plastic squeeze Bottle with an 18-gauge needle type applicator to fill the bubble holes (then re-sand the top) before applying a top coat.

      Thank you for watching! For this project, we mixed up the epoxy, making different colored batches. We then added the liquid spray paint for extra depth and added it as we saw fit. Know that with every product purchased from Leggari, in-depth tutorials are included showing how to install our products. Although it may be an intimidating process, our goal is to simplify the process so anyone can do it. Best of luck to you!! Feel free to contact our customer service with any questions. 👇

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  3 месяца назад

      It looks best when you remove the sink then coat and caulk but you can coat the counter with the sink there. Backsplash-either remove it and coat it separately, coat it while it's attached(the epoxy will have a very vertical dripping design not everyone loves), or just remove the backsplash and install a traditional tile backsplash. You can tape the backsplash-1/8" high and coat up to it as well.

    I used these very product I had to clean up over 25 individual bubbles on my floors. Just did a 12 inch x 60inch window ledge and still had 2 bubbles. You don't see the bubbles forming until well over 3 hours later. By then you've already left the project. Upon return, there they are staring you in the face. Easier to just torch them in my opinion.

    Can you torch than denatured alcohol just to make sure no bubbles. As a rule of thumb for any resin?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  11 месяцев назад

      Most other resin companies recommend torching their projects to remove air bubbles. We do not because our resin is engineered to push bubbles to the surface and torching can become hazardous. The first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol; this creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop remaining micro bubbles. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy. As a rule of thumb, which resin you are installing determines your process. For countertop kit options, check this out! 👉leggari.com/order-countertops/
      Best of luck!

    Hello team, first of all, I wanted to say thank you for this awesome video. Also, I am planning to cover approx. 15 sqft of countertop space at my own kitchen, I found out about that if I buy ALL the materials separately (for the surface area I need to cover) I will be in $296 plus S&H. If I were to charge someone else for this project, at the price that you mentioned vs. granite or other type of material, I would be around $100 under the water (15 x $13 = $195), am I missing something from this math? Labor charges perhaps? is there any resource (calculator) that you might point me to, to roughly figure out how to charge for this type of work? I understand it also has to do with my market area. I am local to Miami, FL. I appreciate in advance for any help/recommendations.

      @@LeggariProducts Please tell me that was a joke! Over 100 tutorial videos going back 7 years? Yeah, I watched many of them and it DID NOT HELP! Just a suggestion.. How about creating a single FULL instructional video? Send that one video to buyers. When you make updates, remove the old video and upload a new full instructional. Cover things like when to remove backsplash tape, when to spray, how to fix accidental bumps in the dry process, when a roller should or should not be used, specifically what the roller label should say, when and why to make a edge tape wall. Don't skip ANY step in the edit like EVERY single video does.

      @ThreeDigitIQ // I have to agree. We need a tutorial from start to finish even if you have to make a part 1, part 2, etc., something missed can mess it all up like you said.

    So you mist it before taking off the tape or stripping?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, the first thing we spray is 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol; this creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop micro bubbles. Once the surface levels out and begins to set, that is when we remove tape/weather stripping and help the epoxy cover edges👍💯

    What alcohol is that ????

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  3 месяца назад

      The first thing we spray is 99% or higher isopropyl alcohol. This creates cells in the design and disperses the epoxy. Once that evaporates, we spray denatured alcohol to pop any micro bubbles that might be in the epoxy from mixing. This allows us to avoid torching the epoxy and the risks associated with that.
