❤❤❤ I got this kit about 3-4 weeks ago I’ve been too scared to try anything, but I finally did it yesterday just a small piece of board. I added just a little blue, OMG I love it. So I’m going to really get set up and start pouring 😁 I did the hand meld and now I want to do a dirty pour. My goal is to do my counter tops. I’ve got this!!!!! ❤❤❤
Good Luck, And your doing it right, Keep doing research and take notes. Don't skip any steps, and you'll be fine. ✌️
You got this!!!!
You Got This! Lemme know if you have any questions 👍
You do GOT This! Let me know if you have any questions
@@StoneCoatCountertopshow long do you use the torch for to remove bubbles?
You did a great job! 👍🏾 It's mind blowing how many different designs you can make with epoxy.
Big hello from Ireland 🇮🇪👋. I love your vids, can't wait to try this for counters and showers. I will be ordering the Epoxy at the start of next month.
I love the One that you did with the yellow gold, I guess you could call that color in it yellow gold. I love the dark and gold stricken through it. You do beautiful jobs, that’s all I could say just beautiful. I have been buying the product and I’m going to try it myself. The first thing I’m going to tackle is the coasters. I need some new coasters anyway, ha ha ha. Thank you so much for posting this!! Hey people I have seen several of his videos. And I have seen other videos of other people doing this type of technique. This man is a pro he is the best I have seen yet. I like his videos because he let you know what you should or shouldn’t do, and he also gives me the feeling that he’s not perfect either, that mistakes can be made. But if you notice he tells you what to do to correct that mistake by adding more light color. He’s great!!! 🥰👍👍
U Got This! Lemme know if I can help ❤
I LOVE this black marble look with dirty pour!!!
It's like a box of chocolates! You never know what you're gonna get, but you know it'll be great!
Thanks!
I love that dirty pour. It just comes out more natural looking to my eye. That and my artist side cringes at the fact I know if I did it by hand, it would some how turn out anything but nice looking😅
Right! It's the easiest technique for beginners, only down side is the more epoxy needed but worth it in the end!
Perfect way to start my Saturday!
Hi , sister . My hearing was being bad . I have been watching him a lot . It is wonderful techniques and i want to do myself for my kitchen counter top too . Please , tell me exactly what and where I can buy those stuffers to do so . Thanhks 🎉.
Great job Mitch!! Love the way your doing 2 at once to show how versatile the colors are!!
Thanks! Should I keep this style of video up?
Thanks, great feedback 👍
Gorgeous 👍🙏💕
oh man, both of those are friggin amazing. I wouldn't have thought those dark colors would have looked great but you made them go well together. The white accent helps too. And I love that coaster mold thing you showed at the end. I will definitely take advantage of that.
Ordered my kit last night
Both are amazing!!! Love the versatility of the product! 👏👏👏👍
Thanks for watching! ❤
U Got This!
Hi like the hand meld
Thanks for commenting! The hand meld is definitely a more advanced technique, but it's how to get control of the overall pattern.
These are great!!! Nice techniques on both!!
Thanks bud!
Thanks for always watching Michael!
Nice. Both are great
Thanks for stopping by
Could you do a blacand copper super shiny kitchen counter top? Or can you do a copper counter top to look like a hammered copper? Maybe show it on your show. Love watching the different looks you do. Thank you! Great work!
RK3 does a video for hammered copper.
Thanks so much for the great comment!
Sure, we have a hammered copper video, search that on the channel. I'll make a new one for you though!
Thanks from Hong Kong
Our pleasure!
Love these colors
I like that you are making coasters to match!! 👏👏 Very cool!! 👍 What would this pour look like with a lighter colored under painting?
Thank you! The black base coat of epoxy would cover the paint pretty well, so it would look about the same, but if we switched to lighter colors we'd end up with something like our white marble recipe like in this video: ruclips.net/video/Y-FgtLKC1ac/видео.htmlfeature=shared
@@StoneCoatCountertops You're very welcome!! 🤗
This is beautiful
Thank you 😊
Todos 2 son hermosos
I can't decide which one I like best.
Make em both! Let me know if u have any questions 👍
I wish you were here in Las Vegas!
I can travel to Vegas! Do you have a project in mind?
Hey Mitch! When am I going to get my Midnight Jade piece?? I'd settle for some epoxy to do my kitchen! 😊
I like the hand meld better. Question: If the base coat is black, why coat with the layer of black epoxy??
I like to know what wood you use before you start this amazing job
We use 3/4" MDF (Medium-Density Fiberboard) as an inexpensive substrate that's more consistent than plywood, which would chip and flake when we round the edges.
Which of these techniques is more forgiving to do on a long kitchen countertop space for a newish DIYer?
Ive read about the mix hardening within minutes when left in the bucket but you didnt seem to have any issues when working between boards, did you do anything behind the scenes to keep your epoxy liquid?
I am amazed at what yall have done with the epoxy over the last many years. I got away for some time now coming back, wow whata big change. What advice can you give me on making wall hanger art. I have a beach store asking what I can do? Would the foam board the best way to go?
Foam board sure makes it light. You can also make large panels out of 1/2" mdf with a drop edge and support running in the middle. U Got This!
Whats the difference between using dye and the pigments. Thanks
Can you do dirty pour on an installed countertop? I haven’t found a video showing that?
What size is that sample board Mitch?
We. Are from Michigan. We want to
Do. A table that is House divided Michigan and michigan's state with a line down the middle one side with a gold tint and one side with a green tint. Our question is what do you recommend for our project.
Amazing job, as always! Every video is pure gold. Thanks for sharing! Is there any possibility to buy SCC resin from Spain? I would like to work with top quality resin instead to a regular one
We are working on overseas distribution, Stay tuned! England and Canada within weeks!
Круто😎😎😎
Спасибо 👍
I like the hand meld for sure….but I do not like the alcohol drops at all. they ruin the patterns and flow for me. question, how durable are these tops and do they stand up to hot pots or pans or knife work?
I didn't like the drips so much on this one either. Thanks for the great comment 👍 The cured epoxy is heat resistant up to 450
I enjoyed the video
I have a question
What black plate did you use in the video?
It's the black board used at the bottom
Is it marble?
Great question, it was a 3/4" piece of MDF painted black with our black undercoat. The epoxy can also go over old countertops
How do these granite looking, or any epoxy counter top, how do they take the daily abuse in a well used kitchen? An accidental drop or a hot pan? Or if you have lighter colors squished berries or red wine stains?
Great questions. The epoxy is very durable especially with our Ultimate top coat applied. Heat resistant up to 450. Check out the video on our channel called Hillbilly lab test. I throw everything at the epoxy!
I have a small table with two sides that fold down. How do I do this so I can still fold sides down and it fits together when up?
If you can remove the two that fold and pour them separately then tape off the area where the table seam are so you down cause a high point when u try to bring the folding leave up. Lemme know if you have any questions 👍
❤
I love the video but we didn’t get to see it all done especially the matching cochers
Dang it! You're right, I'm going live next Thursday I show and tell then! Thanks for watching and good call
is there a problem if the alcohol is 99% isopropyl?
Not a problem! 91& is simply the most cost-effective option, and 70% is not recommended due to its water content.
dirty pour!!!
Dirty pour for the Win!
