I think I read that the rolex worn by tony was actually owned by James Gandolfini, who i believe liked watches so that would explain the brief appearance of the two-tone

Ralph Cifaretto wore what looks like a Franck Muller. AJ wore a Movado. Vito wore an Oris. A couple other watch references that happened in the show were when Eugene gifted Tony those David Yurman watches, and when Junior traded his vintage Bulova watch to the mental hospital employee.
They missed a ton of watchs.
I was waiting for the David yurmans to get mentioned. Or juniors vintage watch or even meadows Daytona that even I apprently missed and never seen

great look at The Sopranos' wrist wear. Love The Sopranos. These days, can't help but look to see what people are wearing for their characters in movie and tv.
Interesting you said you did not think Adriana wore a watch in the show when the clip you just showed, before that statement, of her on the tennis court clearly shows a gold Cartier on her wrist. But, anyways.. Watch easter egg hunts in movie & tv is fun.
The museum watch was designed by the artist Nathan George Horwitt and the original was manufactured by Vacheron & Constantin-Le Coultre Watches, Inc.. Apparently Movado then copied the design a year later without any licensing agreement and a settlement was reached with Horwitt almost 30 years later. Movado may have become synonymous with the museum watch, but history tells us a different story about how this came about.

Movado was huge in the late 80’s thru the mid/late 90’s.
Not one word about the Oris watches given to Sir Ben Kingsley and also worn by Vito Spatifore.
Wow, diss would'a looked so cool wid dim li'l lights on in the daylight like that wid dem very lovely flowers and the green leaves dair and that stuft on the fence dair, yeah.
In that one scene with Julianna, Tony wears a platinum DD. You can tell it is not white gold because there is a shot in which he signs the contract, and you can clearly see the ice blue dial which only comes in the platinum model.
Tony’s day date is literally my dream watch I will get there one day! 118238 with the champagne dial 😩

Ненад I have not I have wanted to add a square/rectangle dial to my collection but most are so small his always looked like it had some more presents on the wrist.
Meadow wears maybe the most interesting watch in the entire show in season 4, episode 2: white gold Rolex Daytona with a pink MoP dial and matching pink strap. For a girl who, as we learn in that episode, did nothing to earn the kinds of money needed to buy something like that, I kinda wonder how exactly such an extravagance came into her possession.

Christian! I liked the video. It is good!!!!!!!! Just do something with the rhinorrhea. It looks awful. If nothing can be done, at least for the show time, use handkerchief or paper towel.

If you watch carefully the scene where Chris get shot I think he’s wearing a Rolex date just, it seems to me the bracelet is a jubilee bi-colour.
You do not know the exact reference of the Day-Date, do you? Is it a 18238 or a 118238? Or much older than those two?
Also, it would be fantastic to know what happened to the watch after the show ended! I wish there was information about auctions, sells, etc. on the internet but I couldn't find anything...
Actually, a very 'shallow immersion' in the watches of the SOPRANOS. Ok, possibly David Yurman - doesn't deserve time, but how about ORIS and many more other brands? But, I clicked the like button 😉
had no idea Paulie wore Movado...think he also had a Datejust 36mm like most of the crew. Big Pussy's burgundy dial Datejust always stood out on the show.
Christopher primarily wore the Cartier Tank Francaise and Pasha Seatimer mentioned, but definitely did wear a Datejust 36mm earlier in the series. He & Adriana were a Cartier Couple
also disappointed there was no mention of the El Primero Rainbow Flyback!

The gold day date was James Gandalfini's own watch, if I remember correctly it was a gift from his agent or management company when the Sopranos was picked up, that's why he isn't wearing it in the pilot.

Surprised with Christian's love of vintage Cartier, Anna would be wearing a cheap Seiko knockoff of the Cartier tank. For me this totally blows her horological credibility. At least on camera I would think you should be wearing something that is representative of the Theo and Harris brand. In addition because of her tentative knowledge of the Sopranos, I feel this would of been a much better video if Anna was behind the camera.
