At 5:27 time on our video that brass adapter to the Porter will leak if you look later in your video it leaks right there dripping out. The fittings are supposed to fit recessed down inside the fitting with a rubber O-ring. That outer threads on the Porter is not meant to hold the pressure itself. You can get the fitting that fits If you search for "MTM M22 15MM Female Twist Coupler X 3/8" QC Plug." Also, you want to keep to the same length as the Porter line and the diameter. There has been people complaining on pressure drop. Once you pull the trigger the pump will not be able to sustain that volume the entire length of the hose and that is where you get the reduced pressure as it fights to build pressure and overworks the pump and motor.
Thanks for the viseo and review. I have the same Harbor Freight pressure washer and have been wanting to upgrade the hose and gun. I've been looking at he one you reviewed. I'm sold on it now.
Great find, I'll be doing this upgrade. I was just looking for a better foam cannon for the Portland pressure washer, and I see Yamatic sells one of those as well. The extra hose length is a big plus
I wish I had watched your video before I already bought a 50' Uberflex hose and a Ridge washer gun. Just ordered an adapter and have to order the quick connects separately. If I have ordered the Yamatic kit, with the hose, gun, and quick connects, it would have saved me $$$
For anyone else who has theirs leaking from the gun, just take it apart to find the leak. Apply clear epoxy to the area and it should hold a seal. I was about to buy a new gun but decided to try epoxy first and so far it’s holding up.
Black nosel is for using a soap dispenser built into the unit. This unit does not have a soap tank on board since it comes with a soap gun that goes on the wand, so that nosel is not needed in your case.
Correct! Some pressure washers come with a tank for chemicals, like soap, and the black nozzle is for dispensing those. For washing a car, I prefer a foam cannon.

I’ve gotten the gun back together but the little plastic piece that goes into the copper pipe won’t move when I squeeze the trigger, any ideas?

You may need to use the M22-15mm adapter instead of the one that comes with the hose.
For the wand and hose you can just buy a new one.

Where did you get the adapter piece connected to the pressure washer?
It came with the Yamatic pressure washer hose. I’ve got it linked in the description.

Dam mine works flawlessly out of the box for 3 months of pretty frequent use. No leaks at all. Must of got pretty lucky haha .
