I’ve seen this happen on gas as well as electric washers. What happens is the screws work themselves loose, then every time you engage the washer it torques against the loose bolts, and eventually breaks them. If you don’t put some kind of thread locker on them it will happen again.

I would suggest pulling the plastic cover off to take a look at it for sure. But also check your water pressure going into the pressure washer. If you are using more than 50ft hose id suggest using a shorter one if possible. Make sure you inlet screen is clean and make sure there are no holes in your water hose. Those are quick things you can check before taking it apart. But either way it wouldnt hurt to tighten down the bolts i replaced in this video. Lol

@Definitely Not Mechanics oh yea! Definitely gonna tighten those lol thanks for the quick response! I'll look into all that. And my hose is unusually long 😂

Maybe someone can help me, my parents has this pressure washer and the wand is leaking very badly, I’ve somewhat fixed it ( took it apart, replaced the O-rings ) when I put it back together there’s a small stream of water coming out of the wand, and the little plastic hose piece ( I don’t know what it’s actually called ) isn’t moving in and out when the trigger is squeezed. If someone could help or lead me to a video that would be great. Thanks

I used mine like 3 times too. Had it too long to return, can't find receipt. Made sure to get all water out when done, but not run it dry. Some things from hf are just junk. I'm going to try and fix too. If not, I'm trying something else.

Funny. I used mine for like 8 hours straight, two days in a row. Worked just fine. Then I left it under pressure for a week before coming back out and realizing it was still on. For some reason it seems to be acting weird afterwards. I know it says not to leave it under pressure. I'm guessing the switch is not popping back and forth to turn the pressure washer back on, because it was left on so long its just stuck in place. I'm gonna take mine apart and look at that part of it.
