    You did a great job with the video and with your component selections. Many times people miss the primary points of a video. I think your overall plan and execution are great for someone who wants a “better than bottom” level of equipment without being excessive or extravagant. Plus, your secure arrangement on the wall and location within the garage are exactly where I’m planning to place mine. Really great to see an effective video that hits the target.

      Third on Clean Garage.
      While he has knowledge, Matt (OG guy) comes across as a dick. The video berating customers for being stupid for not realizing a QD shipped with two parts mated together sealed it for me.
      "We get this same call constantly." You people are so stupid, etc. Wasting our time, disrupting our operations, etc.
      I came up in a military where you look to own problems instead of blaming others. If that many customers were calling, I'd conclude that I was doing a bad job in providing directions. New units would be shipped with a bold fluorescent sticker on them.
      Yet the OG way is to make a video belittling customers instead of taking a simple step to minimize disruption of operations.

    Hey loved your set up and explanations. Thanks for putting this together. Just an FYI, I could be wrong but it looked like you wrapped that Teflon tape the wrong way. On that fitting you want to wrap it clockwise so when you screw on the threaded piece it doesn’t go against the direction of the “tear”. The way you did it will cause the tape to ball up inside and it won’t seal properly over time. Just respectful constructive criticism. Cheers.

    Nice setup. Very clean. I love how you made it work with your water heater. So did I with my setup. You should get the CR Spotless Systems deionizer and mount it below your setup. • @BalanBro2
      @BalanBro2 7 месяцев назад +1

      I went with the Adam's spotless Deionizer system. It's really hard to say how long it lasts, because it depends on many factors, mainly water hardness and usage. You can greatly prolong the life of the resin by saving the resin for the rinse stage of your wash (use regular tap for the wash/pre-wash). I went with the Adams since it has bypass controls built-in. It's basically inline with the hose, just before the pressure washer. I leave it in the bypass setting, and only run water through the DI tank when I'm getting ready to rinse.

    • @AJLoDato22
      @AJLoDato22  7 месяцев назад +2

      I didn't even know that was an option to bypass. That's really good to know because I didn't want to waste the tanks when i use it to wash things other than the cars. Thanks for the info!@@BalanBro2

    I would first, screw a sheet of plywood on the wall, finding the studs and use 2 1/2 screws, then all your washing components over that
    That way, you reinforce that wall/plywood when pulling the hose and have the set up wherever you want and not worry about where the wood studs are and may not be the location you want for all the components
    First use primer and then paint the plywood the color you want to make it pop
    But as it is works great!

    • @bobbybarnes1652
      @bobbybarnes1652 Месяц назад +1

      There is absolutely zero benefit to adding/using a backer board UNLESS the location of the studs do not line up with where you want the shelf and reel installed. The entire purpose of using backer boards is to give you something solid to mount things to when you can't otherwise mount directly to the studs, most often when you're installing smaller bits and/or anything that can't accommodate 16"OC or 24"OC. The mounting holes for both the shelf and the hole reel mount are designed for mounting to standard spaced studs.

    So I've only used this pressure washer one time. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP The one time I used it, it worked great. I recently had new siding installed but kept the old gutters and small areas surrounding my house that weren't replaced so they looked horrible and dirty because of the new siding. I needed to get it cleaned asap. When I used the pressure washer, man it just melted all the dirt and grime that was on those areas of my house. I used that krud kutter soap and it was over after that. Easy to assemble, feels durable, very simple to use. Also, I purchased a used one to save money and there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. I want to get more use out of it so I think I'll be washing the cars and update this comment as time goes on.

Honda, AR's, Simpson, Ryobi, Kranzle, Greenworks Morthstar., Active. in the end they all wear and fail and need replacing. this is a business decision. purchase what gets the job done for the cheapest price and then replace it when it fails. it's a business expense. so no need for the top of the line products for work.... now if it's your home , for personal use.. complete opposite, get whatever you feel like.. the best thing you can afford. i have a Electric NorthStar commercial washer with serviceable pump and total stop. 1400$
    1100 to 2600 psi and 1.4 to 3.0 gpm. all for the same price as a Kranzle 1122 it blows all other electric washers out of the water not wall mounted its on wherls but never moves just connected to a retractable 100 ft pressure pro hose. gun is a swivel gun from Suttner
