We then took it to an exhaust place (because in right hand drive countries, the manifolds did this weird thing which made the exhaust stupidly restrictive) for them to fix it. But it's been lagging lately and I needed to find some kind of video that shows me things that open air flow and shit like that because I can't find anything for my car anywhere online. W203s run different setups with smaller supercharger I think so not sure what you can do. No changing of the maf will stop it leaning out as a larger one will be leaning it out too unless you mapped it to suit.

Obviously there's the bypass valve at the air box also did you just plug the bypass at the boost pipe? Im looking at it as a potential mod.

Hi, back in the days have u ever had some problems with rear wheel bearing? I have a ‘97 c200k sitting as low as yours and it keeps brake rear wheel bearings after 40/50 kilometers (2/3 days after installing). Can u figure out why? The car have 286k km but the wheel bearing are new, all polyurethane bushing, welded diff, fk coilovers. If u have some advice i’m thankful
No and it runs bad on daily, while parking or on tight turns, pisses me off every time...but if my car wasn't for drift I said open diff + you can still drift with that easy!
Did your stock SC pulley was clutch type? I have a w202 2.0 kompressor with clutch type SC pulley and the aftermarket ones says its for Red top m111 only. Can i delete the stock clutch type pulley with aftermarket ones without changing anything else?
Yea stock pulley was clutched like all M62 supercharger M111s are when standard. Later M111s have the smaller M45 supercharger and they are not clutched. Totally different setup.
did you do anything with the supercharger bypass valve? I see you did a ram air intake, did you just leave the bypass valve hanging and connector still connected, or tac weld the flap maybe? since you're basically always running boost with no clutch anyways.

Here it was an option for the very lowest models and also an option as the winter wheels to fit so you don’t mess up your alloys in the snow and ice etc.
They have Mercedes printed on the wheels etc.
On eBay over here they are very cheap and common from Mercedes breakers etc
@@StavTech Thanks for the extra information! Those wheels you have are so 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!!!
@@StavTech The spare wheel we got over here in the States is a 6 spoke alloy. It is cool but not any where as cool as those steel wheels!
Hey!
That is a really nice and simple build I like it. Can I ask what is the diameter of the supercharger's pulley?
Thank you
Is this 185mm or 192mm pulley ? And what do you think - which one is better ?
To remove the ABS/any of the factory ESP or similar. Is it just a case of pulling the fuses or switching stuff off and it won't effect the engine performance? Pressume so based on this way this moves!!
what do you thing about doing these mods to a 1997 c200 kompressor wagon? and if i could get a little pro tip because i havent done anything to my car how to properly lower it or fit some nice wheels even wide steelies will be good but i want to make it look as good as it drives im really happy that i got this video on my for you page even tho its 4 yrs old because i can see now how many people love this car ive been in love since i first saw it my grandpa got it in 2009 and i was born in 2008 it originally was meant to go on the italian market but someone got it to poland and now the car is with me ive spent my whole life with it and i want to make this car look like it just drove straight out of my dreams and sorry for writing a whole paragraph but im just so passionate about this car that i cant live a day without just taking a pic of it lol
From what I understand Italian Market C200 Kompressors are basically the same car but 2ltr rather than 2.3 due to Italian tax reasons, but all other parts are the same, so the exact same modifications will apply
What was the 0-60mph??
Hi mate i currently have a 2.6 straight 6. What mods would you recommend
A turbo. Those engines are amazing when boosted
Like the music playing. Mind sharing the track & artist name
dude, is it necessary to do anything in ecu after these operations? for example afr or powering up the fuel pump or changing the injectors
Not for what you see in this video, no. Nothing
@@StavTech thank you. How many wheels give power on average?I did the other stages I have to add the intercooler and exhaust left
Where can I get the 60mm pulley?
What engine does your 230 have??? I'm trying to max out hp cheaply on my 02 C230 for drifting
M111 c230 kompressor
Nice you got a tuning kit to screen on to the crank shaft that's nice buddy. And it actually worked?
Did you delete the kompressor bypass valve? My ecu is faulty keeping the sc clutch engaged thought i could ignore it only the bypass valve is staying open so no boost
No. That creates big boost spikes which will just pop boost pipes off etc
@StavTech I've a new transistor coming for the ecu. Hopefully, it sorts the problem
I have a c280 v6 and want to build it. Should I swap the engine or granny for and oem
What tire size did you use? I want this fitment its so good
how much hp were you getting ?
Shit man I've been looking for some kind of stuff I could do for my car because it deserves it. I got it in a good deal and it was my first daily and it's been sitting around for a bit and still runs good. But it's been lagging lately and I needed to find some kind of video that shows me things that open air flow and shit like that because I can't find anything for my car anywhere online. I can't even find a manual transmission or parts anywhere in America really.
bought myself a cheap w203k to compliment my 202. Interesting issue, i seem to be saturating the maf (169g/s) now i have a smaller sc pulley and boosting at roughly 7-8 psi. any advice/idea on what maf sensor to replace the stock unit with so i dont lean the shit out of it? btw this video was most of my inspiration to do this ahaha
W203s run different setups with smaller supercharger I think so not sure what you can do.
No changing of the maf will stop it leaning out as a larger one will be leaning it out too unless you mapped it to suit.
What boost did u make?if IT s over 0.85 how u trick maff?i have 2 pulleys crank+komp make 0.9 boost but don t know how can i trick cuz i entry în timp mode, pulleys from kompressor it is from ungary
I love your work man!! Saw your other videos too..I have an e420 w210 and I want to turbocharge or supercharge it next year..any advice/ideas?
The „wandlerautomatik“ can be very slow at shifting so you might have to get another automatic transmission specially when you want to drift
Great work man! I have a 97 c230 kompressor. What great cars! And mad respect to you for building one into a drift weapon? Can I ask how did the car behave with the solid non clutched pulley? Obviously there's the bypass valve at the air box also did you just plug the bypass at the boost pipe? Im looking at it as a potential mod.
There is no such thing as a 97 kompressor...they made them from late 98 to 2001 in the w202 models
@@shuruff904 No, w202 was made 1995 to 2000 as both 200 Kompressor and 230 Kompressor.
Hey, what anti roll bars have You used?
Stock on this one
no way u just made a watercooler for you intercooler
Did you attach the heat gauge to the intake manifold?
Do you think w202 need more steering angle like bmw's? Or its just fine?
They have absolutely huge steering angle as standard.
Honestly, if anyone drives a W202 and then says they need more angle, they just need to learn to drive better lol
can you post link where you can get this crank pulley ??
Have you had any problems with the head gasket?
No
Hi, back in the days have u ever had some problems with rear wheel bearing? I have a ‘97 c200k sitting as low as yours and it keeps brake rear wheel bearings after 40/50 kilometers (2/3 days after installing). Can u figure out why? The car have 286k km but the wheel bearing are new, all polyurethane bushing, welded diff, fk coilovers. If u have some advice i’m thankful
No never. I’ve had many of these cars and never had wheel bearing issues
@@StavTech thank you for your answer
hi does welded lasts longer, your tips on welded diff, if say no to welded diff, what would be alternate
No and it runs bad on daily, while parking or on tight turns, pisses me off every time...but if my car wasn't for drift I said open diff + you can still drift with that easy!
Wish there was links for the stuff you bought!
@@StavTech Thanks!
did you do anything with the supercharger bypass valve? I see you did a ram air intake, did you just leave the bypass valve hanging and connector still connected, or tac weld the flap maybe? since you're basically always running boost with no clutch anyways.
Didn’t modify the bypass at all.
@@StavTech www.stern-garage.com/sonderanfertigungen/ is this the website you bought the supercharger pulley on? if so considering im in the us was there any other 3rd party website you bought it off? this seems like the best option however i dont believe i can order it directly through them.
@@brentguillou3488 I got it from eBay. Company was based in Hungary or somewhere, but can’t remember more than that
@@StavTech i got the pulley finally, did you end up wiring in a resistor with the oem clutched wiring or just left it off all together, If so what type of resistor did you use? 75mm is due in 2 weeks I cant wait, gonna throw on bc racing coil overs just need to find someone willing to do full custom exhaust that wont fuck me over ;) or do it myself.
@@brentguillou3488 no resistor, I left the magnet still plugged in and cable tied to the inner wing. Easy. You’ll see what I mean once you remove it all
Could you give the contacts of whom made you the custom pulley?
try Stern Garage
Did you use coilovers or just lowering springs?
Originally it was stock everything with cut springs, and it worked great. Then went to uprated shocks and lowering springs, though we cut a coil out to make them the same height as before
Any guess on how much power you gained by your mods?
I have a Chrysler Crossfire with M112 V6 320 engine. It has a tune and exhaust mod. I wonder if your C230 K would have more or less poewer?
Thanks
300 or so going by the performance times.
So basically you’ve reached custom turbo power level without the turbo conversion?
@@richardsmith8289 tbf if i turbocharged it id be expecting massively more than 300
How u deal w/ handbreak... it's foot mounted on this car!!
Simple. Same as on all my cars. Don't use it and just drift properly.
@@StavTech haha love it, but all the cool kids have one!
Hey, have you done anything with angle?
Nobody needs more angle on a W202. If someone needs more angle than they have as standard then they should practice more
what size of those steelies?
Hello! Could you please share specs for the pulley and subframe stuff. Thanks
10k??? Where do u live man here i can get one for 1.2k
from the states! what type of transmission would i use if i were to manuel swap it?
From what I understand you guys didn’t get manual ones of these? Have you got the manual RWD Mercedes Sprinter vans over there? As if I remember rightly all the Mercedes manual boxes are very similar
If not then getting a manual from Europe would be needed I guess?
Hey mate do you happen to know the company that made the fixed pulley for you?
Stern Garage in germany
Yo! I’m thinking about building this powertrain in a W201 190E chassis. Would you know anything about the swap as far as what’s compatible from chassis to chassis? Just gathering information before I dive in and buy parts
Did you ever get this sorted?
@@Frankie_Freedom
Man I wish. I am too poor to build something like that anytime soon 😂
Loving all your stuff mate it's proper car shit lol an let me guess, infin......y did your exhaust? 😑
Paste86 correct! Got my money back at least. Clowns
@@StavTech yea I had the same issues, no mandrel bends, mild steel up to the rear box.. crazy how they get away with it lol anyways keep up the good work mate
Stock knuckles and control arms?
Yes. No need for anything better on 99% of cars until way beyond this. Just learn to drive
What rims are the silver ones?
Oe Mercedes’ steel rims banded to be much wider
Do you still have this car as of today?
No. Last time I saw it it was on a boat to the Isle Of Man with the new owner
Does this car has TSC or ESP? How u kill them off
focal polyglass just pull the fuse out the ABS module
Are the manual variants exclusive to eu?
I have no idea
in aus we have them too but they are little pricey like 6-9k. but other variants like the c220 are a bit cheaper and also have manual but the head gasket is probably half dead
76mm pulley?!?
Can we make that engine turbo?
Yes
ebay link or name ?
Is there any angle kit for these ?
If you need an angle kit for these you don’t need an angle kit, you need to learn to drift better
@@StavTech why being mean. i just want to get the crazy entries, I know how to drift
@@c0r0lla29 not being mean, it’s fact. These have tons of lock. And for crazy entries you don’t need a ton of lock anyhow
@@StavTech i did a lot of drifting with stock angle on e36. They feel awesome but lack a lot of angle. I would like to make some competition with it later so do you consider this platform a good option for that purpose ?

i need this...
Can you email
Pics of your intake set up?
Is this car still alive ??
I think so. Last time I heard it lives on the Isle Of Man 🇮🇲
@@StavTech I might finally be going to look at one aha. Any major places I should look?
6:23 OK lol
Was this one out of your two c230k´s one with no ETS or ASR? Cause right now i am on my fucking way to just hit the buy button on a ABS only unit instead of the dumb piece of shit ETS+ABS unit.
I have trouble defeating the ETS via the diagnostic port.
