Once the clutch slips like that it’s pretty much over. Yeah, you can still use it moderately at low temps, but the friction material is overheated and the flywheel is glazed. You might have 60-70% of the maximum torque you were able to use originally and beyond that it’ll start slipping again pretty quickly.

Not enough steering input to the left at 11:45 and almost hit the right curb after that. And can't blame him, as the stock steering in w202 is the most awful thing ever. I hope he doesn't drive any more w202's so we can keep enjoying his videos.
What an amazing car, what an amazing lap, what an amazing video! 👏👏👏 Thx to Misha and the owner of this „crazy“ (in a good way!) car 🙏 I really like and admire people when they think „outside the box“ 👍 This dude thought: Wouldn’t it be awesome to build a Tracktool which is loosely based on a W203 C55? And then he started his journey and idk how many months or years he needed to build this car but regardless of that timeline we all had the pleasure of seeing a manual W203 C55 AMG track car! 😍🙏 Hell yeah, what a car 👏 Again, thx to all for this experience, I had a blast watching this video! My favourite shot from the cabin is during the main carousel, it seems like you're going on the rocket directly to the moon! Pretty nice lap as usual, Misha!
What you portrayed at 13:00 pretty much sums up my experience with w202's. In the end of the day it shows that these cars were made as autobahn cruisers and not track cars.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love Germany more! I find a video of Misha (the legend) in an “old school” AMG! Thank you for all you do to bring this type of experience and content! Truly enjoy it! I hope one day to meet you!
Misha is like an opposite average workshop... In a sense of the car always fails in front of your mechanic and here, cars fails when Misha's around the stuff 😂😂😂
I love this car. Reminds me of the days of Thim, Lohr, Schneider, Ludwig. My guess is there is a small air bubble in the clutch line going to the slave pump. When it gets hot and expands, it can cause the clutch to disengage.
That colour is fucking fantastic, the V8 sounds mean as, the bike riders in the first half of the lap looking over their shoulders... almost like the Toecutter looking back is he being chased down by Max Rockatanski in the Pursuit Special. 😅😅😅😅
Beautiful car, congrats. I would love to see a new lap with all things sorted (clutch and gearbox, i would like to see a full manual race gearbox). Great car btw. Remember me the DTM class C car.
As a biker myself it is nice to see someone like Misha actually looking out for people on bikes. I know that some dudes don't check mirrors while riding but as a car driver you probably miss out on 1/2 corners but if a biker goes down you probably missing out the whole season er worse and due to Nurburgring letting both on track the more protected racer needs to take care off the less protected out there
Congratulations Mischa for over 1 Million subscriber's ❣️💪🏼 🎉 I'm waiting so long for this and I'm happy that's done 👍🏼 Love from Berlin 🇩🇪 Ramsi 🙋🏻♂️😘
Well done. The evolution of this car is insane. From your last video, when you were driving, I can't see anything different. Have you done anything different to the suspension or the chassis?
Given the obviously very large amount of work that has gone in to this car and how much of a handful it clearly is, I think that answers why you don't see many Mercs, they really aren't built for this.
haha wow that was a wild lap. it seemed like it was taking every ounce of Misha's focus to keep the car pointing in the right direction. its one thing to see him send a stock m3 around the ring, its something totally different to watch him manage a totally raw, rwd v8 with no abs. too bad the clutch couldn't keep up.
Amazing car...really good work... Just change the gear box...and still a beast on the track... I wish you return ...but with a wing in back side...and with another 6° gear box ...beautiful AMG Race Car.... 🇵🇹🇬🇧❤
Ah, that look and feeling of horror when you break something far from home! Good to see it revisited with improved shift linkage and uprated driven plate. Awesome looking car.
I do really hope more ppl will start using early 2000s mbs, or even late 90s in fact and we'll see many more parts as well, in fact by now the year to year c55 vs m3 vs rs4, the mb is the cheapest... especially vs sth like b7 rs4, which are notoriously expensive (and amazing, in fact my first car and actually still my fav RS..), and also rare to find a good deal, you need to really watch the mileage and condition with any kind of deals
Ich hab eine w202 Limo und ein s202 t-modell und diese Autos sind einfach alles andere als sportlich. Richtig cool was der Besitzer da gebaut hat 💪😎 Sah aus als könnte man da eine Menge Spaß mit haben 😀
I have to say the motorbike at 7.34 looking back and swerving around the track is very dangerous if you ask me. Anyhoo the shifting could use a good upgrade. It seems kind of sluggish. Due to the big engine and rotating parts you should try anything to lighthen it. Lighter flywheel , lighter cardanaxle, better clutch haha and anything for the shifting system. I have to say i do like the car, its raw power and the weight reduction you achieved.
I agree, a lot of riders on the Ring have 0 awareness around them and seem to make last minute decisions, rather than planning ahead. You could tell he wanted to move out but it was far too late. Don't forget Misha is used to LHD also which most likely doesn't help, but that shifter still seemed a pain in the arse. At least he didn't go down gears by accident haha.
That seems like a lot of travel on that brake pedal. Is it just the angle or are your toes brushing against the steering linkage? I guess it would with the pedal box elevating your feet higher.
I have a w202, I’m not sure if he changed anything, but the brake pedal does need to be pushed a little farther than most cars to activate in my experience

Hello dear Misha, I am a 21 year old and I love cars and I love your videos. I regularly watch your videos and I have always thought to myself that I would be the happiest if I got to drive cars for a living and I know its quite hard.
