I am almost 75 years old. I was a couch potato for my entire life until 2020. During the pandemic I dropped 50 pounds by counting calories. I decided the only way to keep the weight off was to add exercise. Ugh! Then I found your exercises for seniors. I needed to do them sitting down at first and gradually I was able to do the BGs and Mama Mia videos. I cannot believe that today I was able to do this video along with you! May God bless you for proving to an old lady that I can still do hard things and they will actually make me happy. Thanks to you, I am now dangerously close to becoming a video exercise addict.
Oh my goodness, Sherry, I am blown away by your progress! I hope you are incredibly proud of the accomplishments you have made in the past 3 years. WOW! Honestly, to go from living a sedentary life until 72, and now doing this video at 75 is simply incredible. Wow Jules, amazing video, and I was able to do it, watch you full screen on RUclips on my new 13 inch M2 MacBook Air. Couldn't do all the floor stretches, as they put a strain on my back. I did as many as I could though. This one certainly got me going very energetic. Now I don't have to worry about which foot. you are doing, heel or toe. I definitely needed this one, as I've been doing too many chair exercises. This new laptop is amazing, as I start typing a word it finishes it on screen, and I hit space bar to post it. Wow! never had that on my old Windows desktop. Have Mac class at Soho Apple Store on Wednesday, so will miss exercise class in community room. She had to do light workout in chair, cause of her surgery she had. The guy that subbed for her did allot standing up, and did Bollywood from India. Keep them coming, I may be 68 going on 69, but these keep me healthy and young.

I love your exercise videos! I started your exercise program over a year ago. My son was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma & I needed to have an outlet so I didn't think about his diagnosis all the time. As a retiree I needed not only the outlet but the exercise as well! Thank you for getting me through the tough days! My son is in remission now alrhough we continue to pray for him! I want you to know you were & still are my lifesaver! ❤

Yet another new fav! I actually did this while on hold with Social Security so punching was really appreciated, ha ha. Had to mute your music so as not to miss my call being answered and loved this so much I did it again, with sound. You added some fun new moves which are always recognized and appreciated.

I am 47 and started with chair exercises for two days. Then tried to do a 30 minute one, and only lasted 15 mins. Next i tried 20 minutes and did the whole video. So today i thought I'll try 25 minutes. I made it all the way through. I'll stick with it for a week before trying another 30 minute again. Thank you, I'm so glad i found you. It's fun working out with you!
Wow! Look at you go! Just so you know, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). This is an intermediate level workout and you're already doing it! If you can do this, you can find plenty more at this level in the 'intermediate level' playlists. I agree with your suggestion about staying at this level and time frame for a week or so to see how you feel. Sometimes people push too hard and then stop completely. By staying at this level, it'll give your body time to adjust before adding on. I look forward to reading about your progress over time!
The pace of this workout was perfect for me. Not too slow, not too fast. I liked the shorter segments in this video because they allow me to focus better and keep my attention on the moves. The stretching was perfect for my tight hips and hamstrings too. Thank You for all you do!

Love the pace and routine. It's perfect for getting my HR to the mid-range for at least 15 min. I have a very low resting heart rate so good to find a short cardio that works for me. Many thanks!
Hi Jules, I wasn't sure I could do ANY workout today after a very long day yesterday, but I'm happy to say I did this one with gusto! Once again, it energized me and I totally enjoyed it. Even with the a/c and fan on I got sweaty, but that's what made it fun. Thank you!

this is my favorite workout, been doing it for the last 4 days. ive been doing your beginner videos for 3 months and decided to increase the activity a bit more faster. now i can do them. i actually have more better balance and a stronger back thanks to your videos. 3 months and a half of exercising, 5x a week 30 to 45mins a day. enjoying them, thank you for your work!
Wow! Look at you go! First of all, congratulations on making exercise a part of your life and a huge kudos to you for giving your body a bit of a challenge. A lot of people stick with what is 'comfortable' for exercise but in order to see progress, it's really important to get out of that comfort zone at times. Good for you for doing that.💪 I put up a new 40 minute cardio workout today so that'll be your next challenge (when you're ready).😉

I tried this video out to get some cardio in that was gentle on the knees. I was not disappointed! I love this workout. It was long enough to get my heart rate up but not enough to get out of breath. Thanks and I will be using this video a lot.
Hi Jules, I have fairly hideous depression from time to time which can make getting motivated to exercise difficult, but your workouts never fail to energise me. I loved this one and felt so much better physically and mentally afterwards. Thank you!!
I truly hope that with working out every day, the symptoms will be less. Exercise is definitely like a magic pill for depression (but I do recognize there are many levels of depression). Exercise definitely helps and I'm so glad that you recognize how you feel better after a workout.

Awesome again. Same problem with my hair in my face and eyes. I exercise barefoot as I tend to be cooler. It is summer in my country.
I always ask my hairdresser to make sure that I can pull it up without pieces coming out...but, that doesn't always happen.🤷♀️

Wow! Look at you go! Just so you know, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate). This is an intermediate level workout and you're already doing it! If you can do this, you can find plenty more at this level in the 'intermediate level' playlists. I agree with your suggestion about staying at this level and time frame for a week or so to see how you feel. Sometimes people push too hard and then stop completely. By staying at this level, it'll give your body time to adjust before adding on. I look forward to reading about your progress over time!

The pace of this workout was perfect for me. Not too slow, not too fast. I liked the shorter segments in this video because they allow me to focus better and keep my attention on the moves. The stretching was perfect for my tight hips and hamstrings too. Thank You for all you do!

Love the pace and routine. It's perfect for getting my HR to the mid-range for at least 15 min. I have a very low resting heart rate so good to find a short cardio that works for me. Many thanks!

Hi Jules, I wasn't sure I could do ANY workout today after a very long day yesterday, but I'm happy to say I did this one with gusto! Once again, it energized me and I totally enjoyed it. Even with the a/c and fan on I got sweaty, but that's what made it fun. Thank you!

this is my favorite workout, been doing it for the last 4 days. ive been doing your beginner videos for 3 months and decided to increase the activity a bit more faster. now i can do them. i actually have more better balance and a stronger back thanks to your videos. 3 months and a half of exercising, 5x a week 30 to 45mins a day. enjoying them, thank you for your work!

A lot of people stick with what is 'comfortable' for exercise but in order to see progress, it's really important to get out of that comfort zone at times. I tried this video out to get some cardio in that was gentle on the knees. I was not disappointed! I love this workout. It was long enough to get my heart rate up but not enough to get out of breath. Thanks and I will be using this video a lot.

Hi Jules, I have fairly hideous depression from time to time which can make getting motivated to exercise difficult, but your workouts never fail to energise me. I loved this one and felt so much better physically and mentally afterwards. Thank you!!
I truly hope that with working out every day, the symptoms will be less. Exercise is definitely like a magic pill for depression (but I do recognize there are many levels of depression). Exercise definitely helps and I'm so glad that you recognize how you feel better after a workout.

I was able to do these even though I suffer from fibromyalgia. Easy to follow and did at my own pace. I started doing your chair exercise videos and now I can do standing 😢. God bless you! You don't know how many lives you have helped.
