Man this video is spot on i ran almost the same problem when i started detail couple years ago i guess customers will be customers always trying to lowball my favorite part what customers say is ill just go to the carwash i dont see what the difference smh
Thank you for dropping in on the comments. I appreciate the amazing feed back i say target clients that value your work the clients that are looking for really cheap work normally dont value there vehicles as much. Happy holidays and have a amazing new years 👊🏽
I wouldn’t TOUCH a full detail for less than $200 because I’m spending a minimum of 2 hours and that’s if the car is new or clean. I’d rather have less high value customers than more low value customers. Your time is valuable
I agree anything over 2 two hours you have to charge accordingly. Some people do full details around $150 which surprises me. Then we dont see them in a year or 2. Your correct your time is the most valuable thing to give. Thanks for shining some light on this topic. And i appreciate you dropping in on the comments 🙏🏽
i stopped accepting jobs that require extensive work not only because i don't want to work all day on one car but the cluent usually isn't willing to pay the amount that will be necessary to transform the car to new again. start asking people with nice new cars that they love and want to keep clean these clients you can charge 60$ to do quick mini dwrails that only need minimal effort an hour tops to complete. and they'll call you back every week or two so keep it perfect. this is my new approach. less work more $ stress free detailing yayy i even removed my extractor i only do that as a seperate sercice on another day. I'm done detailing filthy nasty cars 💪 😎
Thanks for dropping in the comments. Yes I recommend aiming for people that value our services. You will find them out there just give it time. Another thing you can do is upsell on extracting floor mats at well $10-$15 each takes less than 10 mins
I work for a dealership we sub out trashed vehicles to a local mobile Detailer. From my vantage point you are making a wise call by pricing your services in a way that excludes the quality of customer who is happy to benefit themselves at the expense of others.
Hey good morning thank you for dropping in the comments ! Yes go somewhere that they value you and your work. I had people just try to throw you $30 dollars as soon as they pull up asking for a polish wash and clay with interior vacuumed and conditioned all that work for $30 is not worth it.
I be doing some really bad cars like bad charging $150 to $220 & as you said explain if we can keep up the Maintenace on there vehicle price will go down but eyeing there rims that is some true facts 😬awesome videos to both 🙏🏼💪🏼
Yes maintenance is always keep and brings you cash flow for your business 👊🏽 after detailing for some year its a good sign that they dont take care of it keep going brotha wish nothing but success for you 🙏🏽
First bor 🏆 ✌🏾 your price is your price.... when the guy down the road cheaper stick with them.... why asking around? They just looking for something cheaper... the guy b4 you they had that same problem one other guy was cheaper lol keep it up brother time is money
Thank you for always supporting the channel it means a lot this motivates me to keep making videos and i 1000% agree There is a reason they keep searching for another person all the time 🧐
What up? @MakeitNewAgainDetails does not give discounts but our prices are lowest around and proof of our quality is in the videos. I like your commentary and I experience same questions. Smh
You should listen to your customer you can do cheap washes if that what they want $65-$85 in an out be done in 30-45 min to fill in time spots in between.
Hmmmm that’s interesting. For me tho it’s never quick I don’t want to hurry any makes quick buck. do you dilute your the quality of work or give the same quality?
I've been seeing these vids of Americans charging $75 minimum for a detail, which really puzzles me as I think it's too low. You'd have to work too fast so you can move on to the next client just so you're earning enough for the day, which makes me wonder about the quality of work done. I'm from Australia, and no mobile detailer that I know of will come out for that price. Can someone shed some light please?
Hey thanks for dropping in on the comments. Yes i agree the xpress detail ranges from $75-$120 for a maintenance wash with a topper. For details just interior starts at $200 and goes up. What would you guys charge ?
I felt this especially when i was doing detail couple years ago no hate towards old people but trying to explain to them about the type of services u do and how we different from a regular carwash never goes well they always say I just go to the carwash then I don't see what the difference. smh even the ones who have money always say that like I just go down the street get my car clean from those teenagers at that handwash place they always say that never once I heard something else
@@LexxRider0307 yeah i use to deal with that problem as well but you just got to target clients that value there car more. You dont want clients like that most of the time they want you to do the most work for minimum price. Thank you for dropping in the comments 👊🏽
I do offer discounts to me regular clients also yes never use armor all its a pain for get off at times. The people that are asking for big discount right away and trying to get a lot of free things most likely dont value your service thanks for dropping in on the comments happy holidays 🙏🏽
"...Don't value the car. Don't value the service..." Very telling in many areas of a persons life.
I’ve been hearing that a lot you ain’t lie tho 👊🏽
I charge $40 for a basic exterior Wash only. Wheel faces only. All detailing services start @ $150.00 min.
Thats a good structure on pricing
Do you get anyone complaining on your pricing ? Thank you for dropping in on the comments 🙏🏽
I charge that as well for a basic wash but my steam cleaning service starts at $160
Good points! Not all money is good money and not all business is good business!
Yes if you know you know !
Some people think you have to take their money but as you said not all money is good money well said 👊🏽
Never settle for less keep it up 💧
Thank you i appreciate it positive feed back 🙏🏽

Great video bro
Thank you I appreciate you brotha lets keep grinding 👊🏽
Does that air blower have a filter on it so its not grabbing dust in the air and blowing it at the car?
Do you supply water for the wash or use customers?
I supply my own water
It’s DI water check with your local detailing shop if you need it. Better to use DI to avoid heavy water spots
Do you use any pre-wash on matte finishes? Or strictly ph
I do strictly ph soaps i dont want to cause any staining thanks for dropping in on the comments 🙏🏽
the cash discount part.... I would offer a cash discount. whatever you make in cash, does not need to be reported to the IRS
Oh okay thanks for the tip and also dropping in the comments below I appreciate you 👊🏽
7 years bro. Was strictly vendor for bunch of low balling car lots. 😂now we do street customers only
Congrats bro I’ve been detailing for 7 years as well 🤙🏽 let’s keep grind and grow I appreciate you 🙏🏽
