I would agree and it’s a drive me crazy moment as well wishing I could do something to my car but due to weather can’t get out side to get things done.
Ever since using DIY Detailing Rinse Less Wash V2 for the first time this weekend, I have been filling up every empty pump sprayer I can find with it. I even have a bottle of it sitting on my computer desk to spray on a plush microfiber to clean my desk and monitors! I love the smell!
I love the science and experience from Yvan and Nick! I'm a "how's it work" kinda guy, and detailing is therapeutic for me, so being able to explain to customers the science behind what I'm doing is a great feeling!
I really gotta say, that you both really can explain your product so very well! I could go to just your product, since it is so much better than the "prosumer" products, and from what I have purchased, it is so much better than anything that I have used; I love your product, but the shipping cost is just too much. I still use some of your products, but I haven't gotten past the shipping costs to what I can use via some local "prosumer products" available to me at a local store, I just have to stay with some of them. I recently bought two spray bottles at approx. 18 to 20 dollars a bottle and shipping was $16! Not sure if the cost is related to Hazardous shipping or not, but it's just a tuff pill to swallow.
Unfortunately we do not control the price of shipping. We do include shipping on orders over $150. Also we have a growing network of distributors, and Amazon. Https://diydetail.com/pages/distributors

What's the difference between ceramic gloss versus quick beads as a drying agent/protector after a rinse-less wash, and does the recommendation change if your car is ceramic coated? How often would you apply those after?
The difference is the application method. To use DIY Detail Quick Beads you need to rinse the rinse less away before using DIY Detail Quick Beads. Use as often as you want
Hi fellas. Yasir from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia here. If, let's say, I have ceramic coating on my vehicle, and a week later, after the ceramic coating application was done, I washed the vehicle and applied a layer of wax on top of the ceramic coat, will it help in terms lessening the etching of bird poo?
I'm really surprised you didn't use rinseless wash, as it's a versatile product, can we use it first as you did as a pre treatment to replace waterless wash ?
I did something similar to this but with rinseless and a ik multi pro sprayer. Pre treated with rinseless, then rinsed off(got the bird poop with a garden hose with a similar trigger from the vid). Then pre treat again for lubrication and contact wash. Super fast and efficient.
how about soaking the bird bomd with a rinseless wash diluted as a Quick Detailer, picking up the debris with a disinfectant wipe and buff off with the detailer?
Good afternoon! Do you think it is necessary to use steam cleaner and carpet extractors for interior cleaning? What are your thoughts on carpet extractors? Thanks!

Are waterless and rinseless wash both drying agents? I'm confused on what's considered drying agent? I just bought your products and want to get the steps right. I bought quick beads but didn't know if i needed rinseless wash as drying agent after rinsing QB off

If washing with DIY Detail Rinseless Wash, DIY Detail Quick Beads can be used as a spray and wipe( if you don’t have access to a hose. You can also use DIY Detail Ceramic Gloss and DIY Detail Waterless Wash as drying aids
Hi guys, I just want to say thank you so much for your guys' useful products and helpful videos. I've been binging your videos over the past week and finally did my first rinseless wash, decontamination, polish, and ceramic coatings (The Stack) in my underground parking lot. I have a few questions though: 1. I noticed that my ceramic coating application pads still have that solvent smell and that greasy feel even after soaking them in a bucket of rinseless wash (256:1). Can I wash the application pads with something like Dawn or liquid Tide to get rid of the smell and greasy feel? 2. What's my timeframe to fix high spots without polishing and then reapplying the ceramic coatings? Thanks again for your guys' hard work and dedication to making auto detailing easier for enthusiasts like myself
Which is better for bird poop/bug guts/tree sap to be ready when not detailing the car? (Using the car everyday) DIY Detail Waterless wash or Tree Sap remover?
Hi Guys, New subscriber here. Love your videos and podcasts. I can’t seem to get enough! When you’re pretreating with the DIY Waterless, could you have done it with a foam cannon application or is the Waterless best applied with a hand sprayer? If with the foam cannon what would your dilution be? I’m looking for a more and quick way to pretreat!
I keep a cheap Ikea spray bottle with 256:1 Rinseless in it and a microfibre towel in the car. As soon as i see it, I spray it and it comes right off without even wiping.
It works very well with Iron Remover as your lubricant. Following this process, rinse the paint and then spray on Water Spot Remover, let it dwell and rinse off. That's a great way to decon/unclog a coating. We have a full tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/V66FkbKZzv4/видео.html
The difficult part is the residual birdbomb stain that had etched into the clearcoat and could not be chemically removed or via claying. Even worse….on a COATED paintwork. Some sort of machine polishing or hand polishing will be needed and this abrasive action will certainly remove the coating partially or completely.
Hi Yvan and Nick, I tried this method. It works for 99% of cases. But I have one spot, where I have a bird bomb that is a black dot. And it is really hard, no matter how much no rinse wash I add. It is not lubricating it. It will not come off. Do you have any suggestions what can I do in this case?(It seems like it is burned in the clear coat just for reference)
What if I’m out on a roadtrip without a hose. Would you recommend using the waterless wash and a MF towel in a sweeping motion to get bird bomb and bugs off? Or is there another product you’d recommend?
At the highway patrol training center in Raleigh, NC, there must have been something huge going on, they had cars parked everywhere, and one was parked illegally, and under a tree. I don't know how long that car had been parked there, but you couldn't see any part of the car, except the wheels, it was a bird turd mobile.
I get bird droppings on my car every few days. But it is not possible to do a contact wash every time. The problem is there are dust and traffic firm on the paint. So how could I remove the bird droppings safely without a garden hose? Thanks
A good idea would be to always carry an old spray bottle in your car, filled with rinseless wash. As soon as you spot the bomb, attack it with rinseless! :D You might see how easy it is to get that stuff off, when it's fresh and hasn't been sitting for a few days. Just the pressure from the sprayer should remove it.
Experience counts here. I could see Yyan rinsing his mitt earlier in time. Whereas Nick was seen repeatedly “ going over “ the stubborn left over bird shits patches trying to rub em off, lol. C’mon Nick! Rinse your mitt a bit more, will ya? It hurts to see all that bird shits being rubbed into the paint work!
I’m paranoid I ruined my clay towel. Is there a way to know if it’s ruined? It kinda sounds like it hardened. Using it on my car it doesn’t make the standard “sh sh sh” sound. It sounds kinda like rubbing plastic on the paint lol.
your iron remover, im pretty sure i rinsed it out after i was done, but it kinda dried to itself and was stuck together when i pulled it out today. @@diydetailofficial

besides polishing to remove etching - applying heat to clearcoat on the affected area can also work.
Heat is bad for the paint, and only temporarily swells the paint.

With Waterless wash having ceramic (infused) does the towel need to be soaked in Rinseless afterwards?
No, not a heavy dose of ceramic
