Did you see the rust holes in the rockers? It would fail inspection and wouldn't be allowed on the road

the rockers are structural parts of this car. Where i live they can't have holes
You need to move bec you must live somewhere where the government is wayyyyy to over reaching and controlling. Here in Ohio you can have all the rusty rockers you want. I think we only have 6 counties with emissio standards and unfortunately I live in one of them lol@@alphatrion100
Borther, you tightend that drain plug like 1000 ft.lbs.. good luck to whoever does the oil change next.. 😂🤙🏻
exactly. Drain plug for example in BWM should be tightened like 25 nm of torque (18 ft.lbs in freedom units).
In his defense ...it is a Hyundai and will blow up soon anyways ...and BMW will leak oil no matter how you tighten anything on it
He also slammed it into drive while rolling backwards in the first 15 seconds of the video.. We're not dealing with a quality mechanic here but at least it's entertaining!

400 dollars for a car that even with those issues you wouldn’t get for less then 3k where I live.
You won't find that for 9k where i live.

The bondoing over the holes and cracks works temporarily… but as soon as any moisture gets in through the back it’ll rust like crazy. Looks good to the buyers but in months time they’ll be very disappointed. But on a high note I’m excited to see where you go on your journey!

Full time mechanic here ...and to this day I can't explain why inner fenders are always messed up but only on certain cars ...and both well taken care of and not lol
It’s hard to save anything from rusting around here, the best thing I’ve seen to use is an oil undercoating on the bottom of the car but they still rust out over time
No I meant the plastic inner fender lining lol ..and oh god do I know ..I'm from Texas so I feel no pleasure when one yours or our northern cars rolls into the shop

Can’t find any running car for that price within 100 miles from where I live.
im not american, but from a friend of mine - i know that its usually on facebook marketplace, same with motorcycles, atvs and such - but it takes patience for a good offer to actually drop

Ive bought a car that was listed for 1200 for 600 cash, just gotta look for those offers and lowball ads that have been up for a while. A lot of people will take cash and a lower price for beaters, but where im from, making this kind of deal also means that you dont get to complain if something breaks in the car a week after you bought it

In NYS it take a month to get your title. You can pay for rapid but that’s still 2 weeks. 1 week isn’t so bad. Except if you’re not a dealer you can buy a car privately and fix and flip it as long as you didn’t sign the title. So that’s good I guess.
