3 Things I Wish I Knew Before Starting A Detailing Business
Bro this dude took chemicals guys layout right before they started franchises. His products are the same as chemical guys they use the same chemical manufacturers. When I worked at CG I got all the stories from this dude and everything else 😂.
Pressure washer in your bay 😂, Next time, put the spray up right up to the alternator. I hear that gets REAL dirty
Pros rwap the alternator in a plastic bag
I love the brush 🎙️ micrófono 🎤
Time to grab that rinseless wash solution and the towel you've used all day that's damp followed by a spray detailer or wax
If your going to spray the crap out of the engine bay at least disconnect the battery. Keep the water to a minimum. Then run the engine immediately after to warm it up and evaporate any moisture left behind.
I dont clean engine bays.. most I'll do is wipe off what im working on.. or run some water spilled radiator fluid during the burping process or wipe off my fuel rails and valve cover. But spraying water directly inside the " engine bay" hell nawl.. find another detailer.
@cutlasssupreme508 well said!
Watch the distributor caps if water gets in them they are completely shot
I don't know for sure, but I don't think this engine uses a distributor in the ignition system
When was theadt time you saw a car outside of the 90s with distributor caps?
Subtract the brush
Leave the unit running and wash the shit out of it at every angle. 20k car engine compartments under my belt. Go get it bro
Scary
Looks good! But the entire electrical system has been compromised 😮
Not at all true
that's actually a myth! your car sits in a driveway (unless you use a garage) and it dives in all weather. meaning that water wont mess it up, as it gets water on it already from the rain!
@bettyrivas5970 I always leave my hood opened when expecting rain. Saves time at the car wash 😎
@Juddmann007 professional retailers have long debunked this myth. The only way an electrical system gets compromised is when it's already compromised. If water getting in your engine could compromise the electrical system you would be screwed every time it rains. Especially when using compressed air or a blower after to dry everything before it is used. The gunk that build up in your engine bay is a lot more dangerous to your electrical components as the dirt that build up dehydrates and cracks the housing for everything that it needs to protect. By cleaning and protecting it often you actually keep this fro. Happening
@jwlsn91 hydrolock?
Some men invent cars, others wash them
some people achieve things in the real world, some losers like you just hate on them
7 years bro. Was strictly vendor for bunch of low balling car lots. 😂now we do street customers only
Pesky water spots
Hook that thing up to their water supply and give them 2$
Ahh I wanted to but the city has some hard water 😅
What up? @MakeitNewAgainDetails does not give discounts but our prices are lowest around and proof of our quality is in the videos. I like your commentary and I experience same questions. Smh

Please do not take offence at my comment. I appreciate you doing a video and taking the time and effort to make it. Rinsing off a car before snow foaming it, is a bit of a backwards step imo. It can leave water spots if it starts to dry before you get the foam on, especially if you're in a hard water area, and if it's still wet, it dilutes the snow foam and makes it less effective at doing what it's supposed to do ie settle on the dirt and eat it's way into the grime. Citrus degreaser on first if you need to remove heavy grime, then snow foam. I have always done the wheels first with an iron remover and wheel detergent, then when I snow foam the dry car, I cover the wheels too, so I am removing any tiny remaining layer of grime. By putting foam on before you do the wheels, the foam is almost dried on the paint before you have time to finish the wheels especially on a hot day. I noticed this in your video, and allowing foam to dry on the car is not a good idea. No need to foam twice, waste of time. Foam once, rinse off, and there should be nothing on the paintwork to cause swirls or scratches when you do the contact wash, using a shampoo (not foam), shampoo is designed to be a contact wash not foam. Using a leaf blower to dry the car, oh dear. These suck dust in and blow it all over the paint ! This is why proper car dryers are designed differently, with proper filters to not suck up dust and transfer it onto the paint. If you are going to 'demonstrate' how to clean a car, why are you cleaning an already clean car ? At least clean a dirty car to show how good your methods are !!!
Good video man 💯
Thank you bro 👊🏽
Great detail work and information especially regarding matte finish. Look into the EGO car drying nozzle for their leaf blower. I have it, works great!
I just bought the ego blower because of this comment so far I love it 🙏🏽 thank you for the suggestion 👊🏽
I have the blower and had three. It always shuts off with turbo mode. Also don't use the long tube and get short one for better and easy results. Have you had it shut off yet?
Hey thanks for commenting on the video I haven’t had that issue yet hopefully I don’t run across it 🙏🏽 for the short nozzle I was thinking of it but for the taller vehicles I’m thinking of just keeping it on. I just bought the band for the blower to avoid scratching a vehicle 👊🏽 how do you like it overall ?
@@m3finish I would rather use a wet rag and o and r to dry it. JK it's good. Keep up the videos 👍
Keep them coming I’m enjoying this detailing content 💧
More to come! Thank you 🙏🏽
I appreciate all of the information man. I am not a professional detailer, but I do enjoy detailing my own vehicle. I too use the meguiars products along with some of the chemical guy’s products
Hey thank for dropping in on the comments I appreciate the support ! I just did a video with Greg yesterday ! He use to run chemical guys RUclips check it out 👊🏽 and I would always recommend starting with meguiars they have a solid line up as well. I’m glad you enjoyed this video 😊
I use both personally
Nice they both do work well thank you for the comment 👊🏽
Are you using deionanized water
Yes sir only DI water nothing else 💧
Awesome video and great advice.
Thank you very much I appreciate the comment and support 🙏🏽
Honestly ive never had much problem with water spots since i always use ceramic spray wax as drying aid. Also lately i like to use rinseless in a bucket for the contact wash so i work panel by panel and even if any dries, the rinseless is easy to wipe of upon drying.
Yes I do recommend a drying add to avoid these kind of issues I appreciate you drop the comment and supporting 🤙🏽 I want to try that method. But some clients do get worried about that process due to lack of education. But I’m going to try next 👊🏽
What kind of solvent you used prior to putting dressing on the tire? Thanks.
I used stoners bug and tar remover You can spray on tires and use a microfiber to remover any silicon or gunk on the tire 👊🏽
Curious how many flat out pads you have as business? I usually do 2 microfiber cloths at 365 gsm per car. I have 8 sides per towel. Do you have like 40 flat outs lol or just reuse them over and over through out the week?
Hey thanks for dropping a comment I have 4 flat outs I use. When done washing a car I rub them against the grit guard then ring them out. When it’s time to wash another car just fill the bucket up with water and 2 oz of soap and repeat the process. At the end of the day I wash them in the washer with rags to riches soap as well 👊🏽
I mean that’s probably ok if you’re washing cars like this one. lol but washing others with actual dirt and grime… I don’t know. Like I said I have 2 towels per car 3 if necessary and I have about 30 towels for this. So it’s more than enough for a week then a wash then with rags to riches.
try the ego power blowers get it done super wuick and you dont have to have a cable
Hey thanks for dropping a comment I just bought one rn 💪🏽 let’s see what the hype is about
for the bugs try w8 by gtechniq i have found great results from them
What pressure washer are you using ?
Hey how is it going ? I’m using a Honda gx200 with a AR pump
