Chase in my experience has been the best credit card company. The automatically help me in different ways such as upgrading me from a non cash back card to the Freedom Unlimited and increased my credit limit. The cash back is also substantial if you use this card for everything you purchase. I was getting up to $90 a month.
do you have a link for the double cash back offer that some have for the CFU card? and just trying to determine if that offer is truly better than the CFF card since someone else shared this with me about the double cash back offer with CFU thy claim that double cash back offer is actually worse than the offer we have for the CFU and CFF, which is 5x on up to $12,000 spent in combined gas and grocery. Earning 5x on $12k spend earns you 60,000 URs. Earning an extra 1.5x on $20k spend earns you only 30k URs.
Hey Edward, I'm glad you have commented this! I did not see they announced that offer until now. After researching everything, the extra 1.5% cash back offer (worth up to $300), i believe is actually worse. If you decide to get the freedom flex or unlimited using the normal affiliate link, then you can actually earn up to $800 cash back since it provides the opportunity for 5% cash back on gas and grocery store purchases. Plus, spending $500 in the first 3 months will get you a quick and easy $200 and is much easier to do than putting $20k on the one credit card in a year. Unless you believe the 5% cash back on gas and grocery store is not worth it or you will use an alternative credit card for those purchases, etc... I strongly believe the normal affiliate link I provided in the description is still the best deal. Simply put, you have the opportunity for up to $800 cash back vs $300 as well. Does this make sense? No I don't think so. The only way to get that additional sign up bonus would be to get the freedom flex on top of having the unlimited. Both are no annual fee cards and if you use chase long term you may end up wanting a sapphire card and all around may still greatly benefit you to have both. Hope this helps!
