Usually when someone tries to hide it, it's more obvious. Maybe it depends on the person but some people can tell I'm into them if they are super observant. I hate that.

For when I experienced this it was true, made me hate myself more that I didn't try harder, life always seems to hand me love when I'm actually about to give up on it and focus on myself. Life has some pretty good moments but my mind overshadows them with the negative, like how I could have avoided losing my mind buried my feelings and could have salvaged something by blocking the one person I was falling out with, trying to minimize seeing her as much as possible until I got over her and shared with others what was going on with me...but didn't do that instead I chose to try burning every bridge and by that point I had sobered up I had done too much and became worse and worse, when all I needed to do was walk away, ignore her, mute them do what ever I had to in a shared environment with them
I have an important one: You make them laugh a lot. And I don’t mean the awkward or pity laughs. The natural laughs that make you feel like they enjoy what you say and presence all the time. I rarely compliment a person I find attractive because I am pretty sure I would overdo and make them uncomfortable. It's rather difficult wanting to give a meaningful compliment without making it too obvious you're fascinated by them. Also, I'm sure the way of telling them (like tone and facial expressions etc.) would give it all away in my case.

I had a friend who used to be a really rude and childish person and I was completely oblivious to it for a few months, and then I realized how toxic she was, so I told her I was done being friends. Two years later, we talk a little bit and we became friends again. She's so much better of a person and she even admits her mistakes, as do I. Shes hilarious and pretty and I'm starting to realize I probably like her. A lot of people find her annoying, but she just has an eccentric personality and I can tell she really is a cool person now instead of someone trying to act like a 'cool kid' or something. Her development is amazing and I'm glad to have her as a friend, although a lot of people think she's strange, I know she really is an awesome person, and I've seen her prove herself multiple times. If you're reading this, (no name will be shared ofc) love ya girl, even though I know you don't back. Still surprised you want to be friends with me despite how much of a buzzkill I can be, and also our history. Friendships are beautiful, and me and hers relationship does show that you should give people second chances. Anybody can change, so don't push yourself to ignore someone just because of who they were in the past. This stuff happens to me a lot. Even though it's been going on for some time I never get used to it. It actually makes me really anxious on top of having social anxiety . Especially when random strangers are come up to me and get directly in my personal space or if I have to figure out if my uber driver is just really nice or trying to kidnap me 🙃
If you suffer from social anxiety, I did as well. I don’t have social anxiety anymore because of Jesus. He has completely healed me from it. If you want to be free from social anxiety, Jesus can save you from it if you believe in him as I did. Just wanted to share that!
For some reason I have trouble pinpointing strong emotions while they’re happening, and this leads to weird thoughts. Today my crush was talking to me and it was a pretty good experience! My thoughts afterwards came to how I was feeling. All I could describe it as was good terror, and feeling giddy. Later I realized that it was thrill, but good terror was such an oxymoron. It felt fizzy.
The only thing I experience in this list is I'm hardly ever complimented, but I don't think it's for the reason the video says. I was severely bullied for my appearance growing up and it damaged me beyond repair.

I think sometimes being insecure can come off as being stuck up and then even if you are beautiful people will be uncomfortable around you because they think you’re judging them. Once you gain more confidence this hinderance will fade away and you might notice more people gravitating towards you.
Number 7, the last one, I actually feel bad for this one because someone who just wants to be treated normally get ridiculous reactions from others that make them feel uncomfortable. From extreme cat calling, to being bothered by your employer (and then not reciprocating this and being treated badly because you won’t flirt back) sucks.
Coming from a guy, if you don’t notice any of these signs, it doesn’t mean we don’t like you. I try hard not to seem creepy or desperate, and it comes off as I don’t like you. In fact, one of my past crushes thought I hated them I didn’t show my feelings that much. Some, like me, try not to show our feelings, especially if they’re more introverted. The one thing I do consistently is eye contact, I will catch myself staring at her, and then oh shoot she looks over at me lol. One time she was looking at me, and I literally thought about it all day. So, I would say, if you catch them looking at you on a consistent basis, then there’s a good chance they like you.

I think another sign is, if they are really insecure they won't come up to you and start a normal conversation right away, but rather linger around whereever you are and throw in random sentences (egg. "I'm so thirsty", "wow this is so crazy") just to catch your attention and make you respond to them. In combination with the starring at you and always being close to you this is a really obvious one, and it can get quite annoying if you are focused on something else at the same time.

I have a guy friend at work that does all of these toward me. Some of my female coworkers have noticed it, too. What's even more confusing is that he is in a long term, committed relationship. He's a good guy that would never cheat, so I know that's not what he's looking to do. I like him, too, but I keep my distance because he's taken.

Ok but why did this comment make me feel better than even the original video. Like who really cares if I am ugly? Ugly ppl get married, get promotions, and do the things they love. I also feel like ppl like me more for me than just for looks. I would add on for me, I get hit on less in clubs & bars than my friends. Which I used to think was bad but now I realize how many of those guys just aren’t that great. If I want to be ignored at a bar, I just mind my business & can enjoy myself in peace. As a matter of fact, the prettier you are on the outside, the more likely there is rotten fruit on the inside. Also, the one that counts the most, God and what he sees when he looks at you, physical appearance has absolutely no meaning to him. I can also say that I have had very, very few people in my life that i have dearly loved and cared about and none of those relationships had anything to do with how the person looked on the outside, but how they made me feel on the inside when I was around them. The true value of each person really does abide in their heart. And it seems the prettier a person is on the outside, the less likely they are to work on themselves on the inside.

There were times when I feel absolutely worthless and ashamed of how I look. But, in the past 5-6 years until now, there are still some people I know (colleagues, lecturers even strangers online) told me I'm attractive. I guess it would be biased to rate my own given how everyone has their own idea of attractiveness. So, I used that confidence to build image for myself. Not for others. They are welcomed to have their own say in how I look. We do not live to please others or an eye candy or a subject of criticism. JUST BE YOURSELF. as long as you're comfortable and happy in your own skin.

This guy in my 4th and 5th period has been making a lot of eye contact with me. I recently realized he has a really beautiful smile and I realized I might have a bit of a crush so I started paying attention to him more. i have really low self-esteem -- like, it's in the negative digits, I hate myself. So, even though I sometimes have suicidal thoughts, it's comforting to know that however strong the urge is to end my life, I physically can't bring myself to thanks to that promise. Obviously, it's not great and probably a bit unhealthy to depend your life on one sole thing like a person or God, but if their existence, presence and love is powerful, mutual and stable enough, I think we'll be fine. wow... so I am attractive. Interesting. My friends always tell me I look so pretty and my response is always "I wish I could see that" and watching this, I can relate to everything!
When I see some stranger that is super attractive I cannot stop staring at them from a distance but as soon as they get close my systems shut down and I become super nervous (probably insecurities), wouldent hug them or get close and I tend to look down and wishing for them to move away from me, it is like their very presence threatens me even if it is someone of the opposit sex. Idk I feel like pretty peoples just have a hoard of peoples staring at them from a distance but noone really goes close to them like they are some divine god/godess.

One thing that kinda makes me feel like people find me attractive kinda is that when I ask something of people they do it and also people are just very welcoming of me and let me get away with some things. Also when I talk people smile and give me their full attention. It's common for us to unconsciously take action to hide our insecurities; that's a natural defense mechanism! That's why people are surprised when you share your insecurities. The key is to share with those you trust most. They will understand your feelings and your relationship will strengthen in the process of sharing and communicating!

I've never had a girl display those signs to me, I think I look handsome but sometimes I think I'm boring and get sad over the thought I never had a girlfriend and don't want to face the fact that I will never get one. Having a dislike for using social media, can't call or text with my phone (thanks a lot dad), being a wimp, being geeky and also feel like I'm still a little child because I have three older siblings that all work, I have no money, no car, still follow my mom's rules, I don't swear at home but I sometimes do at school but most people are very vulgar, and no God dang facial hair. There are some girls I talk to but there friends and I highly doubt they're interested in me. The first one is Bisexual and I've kinda said some mean stuff about her interests but we still talk sometimes and joke around. Another girl is a junior we had an interest for heavy metal music and listen to the same sub genres like thrash, speed, death, early metal, and a lot of bands my brothers and I listen to until I learned she already has a boyfriend (never talked to him but I've seen him before and despite me being taller than him it looks he's capable of kicking my ass) and a Senior who I see her in a class and lunch but if we do become boyfriend and girlfriend it will be tricky since she is three years older than me and has a car and a job, but I don't know if she's in to me and we share similar interests , she laughs at my low effort jokes and I'm nice towards her and her brother. Everytime I see a person with their lover in their arms or kissing I ask my myself, can I get that? Why can't I have that? When? This felt like a long rant but it felt good typing this, and at one point I was tearing up. I'm thankful that you've read all of this and I appreciate that.
I'd say I'm good looking but I'm a very quiet person. I don't make myself approachable and usually reject interactions with others. I like it this way. That's why I always hate myself whenever I find interest in a girl, because at the end of the day, I'm better off alone.

I always felt that the personal bubble invasion wasn't a sign that people were attracted to me but a lack of respect and boundaries. Like they think they can just do whatever they want to me and have me be okay with it. When I'm attracted to someone I feel scared to piss them off so I don't really want to invade their space. Maybe it's just me, everyone behaves differently afterall.
I might invade someone's space if I like them and feel comfortable around them. Romantically or relationally. But I also have smaller bubbles for people I like. And I've worked in food... you can't have large bubbles working in food.

Turns out she's just a REALLY nice person and she treats everyone she likes and cares about the same. For when I experienced this it was true, made me hate myself more that I didn't try harder, life always seems to hand me love when I'm actually about to give up on it and focus on myself. Life has some pretty good moments but my mind overshadows them with the negative, like how I could have avoided losing my mind buried my feelings and could have salvaged something by blocking the one person I was falling out with, trying to minimize seeing her as much as possible until I got over her and shared with others what was going on with me...but didn't do that instead I chose to try burning every bridge and by that point I had sobered up I had done too much and became worse and worse, when all I needed to do was walk away, ignore her, mute them do what ever I had to in a shared environment with them

I have an important one: You make them laugh a lot. And I don’t mean the awkward or pity laughs. The natural laughs that make you feel like they enjoy what you say and presence all the time. It’s proven that making someone laugh a lot makes you a lot more attractive to them. Moreover, they also may subconsciously laugh a lot with you to try to appeal to you without even knowing. Have you ever laughed at what your crush says even if it’s not that funny but simply because you want them to like you? It may be hard distinguishing but most of the time laughter is in your favor

I rarely compliment a person I find attractive because I am pretty sure I would overdo and make them uncomfortable. It's rather difficult wanting to give a meaningful compliment without making it too obvious you're fascinated by them. Also, I'm sure the way of telling them (like tone and facial expressions etc.) would give it all away in my case.

I had a friend who used to be a really rude and childish person and I was completely oblivious to it for a few months, and then I realized how toxic she was, so I told her I was done being friends.
Two years later, we talk a little bit and we became friends again. She's so much better of a person and she even admits her mistakes, as do I. Shes hilarious and pretty and I'm starting to realize I probably like her. A lot of people find her annoying, but she just has an eccentric personality and I can tell she really is a cool person now instead of someone trying to act like a 'cool kid' or something. Her development is amazing and I'm glad to have her as a friend, although a lot of people think she's strange, I know she really is an awesome person, and I've seen her prove herself multiple times.
If you're reading this, (no name will be shared ofc) love ya girl, even though I know you don't back. Still surprised you want to be friends with me despite how much of a buzzkill I can be, and also our history.
Friendships are beautiful, and me and hers relationship does show that you should give people second chances. Anybody can change, so don't push yourself to ignore someone just because of who they were in the past. The present is the most important moment of your life, because it's what is happening right now, and will always happen right now.

For some reason I have trouble pinpointing strong emotions while they’re happening, and this leads to weird thoughts. Today my crush was talking to me and it was a pretty good experience! My thoughts afterwards came to how I was feeling. All I could describe it as was good terror, and feeling giddy. Later I realized that it was thrill, but good terror was such an oxymoron. I think sometimes being insecure can come off as being stuck up and then even if you are beautiful people will be uncomfortable around you because they think you’re judging them. Once you gain more confidence this hinderance will fade away and you might notice more people gravitating towards you.

Number 7, the last one, I actually feel bad for this one because someone who just wants to be treated normally get ridiculous reactions from others that make them feel uncomfortable. Coming from a guy, if you don’t notice any of these signs, it doesn’t mean we don’t like you. I try hard not to seem creepy or desperate, and it comes off as I don’t like you. In fact, one of my past crushes thought I hated them I didn’t show my feelings that much. Some, like me, try not to show our feelings, especially if they’re more introverted. The one thing I do consistently is eye contact, I will catch myself staring at her, and then oh shoot she looks over at me lol. One time she was looking at me, and I literally thought about it all day. So, I would say, if you catch them looking at you on a consistent basis, then there’s a good chance they like you.
Most of the time when I watch these videos they aren't for me, but I watch them so I can help other people

I think another sign is, if they are really insecure they won't come up to you and start a normal conversation right away, but rather linger around whereever you are and throw in random sentences (egg. "I'm so thirsty", "wow this is so crazy") just to catch your attention and make you respond to them. In combination with the starring at you and always being close to you this is a really obvious one, and it can get quite annoying if you are focused on something else at the same time.

If all people realized Love that we are given is precious and we should cherish it more than anything physical or instantly gratifying. If everyone loved others like they want to be loved. If everyone realized that when we cause pain to others, it's really ours to bear eventually. Love is the most powerful thing in the world. It can create life. It can save life. I have a guy friend at work that does all of these toward me. Some of my female coworkers have noticed it, too. What's even more confusing is that he is in a long term, committed relationship. He's a good guy that would never cheat, so I know that's not what he's looking to do. I like him, too, but I keep my distance because he's taken.

It normally feels like people I'm attracted to put in a lot of effort to not pay any attention to me. Like they ignore me when I try to get their attention as they walk by. As someone who is ugly i love to see a video about the perks of being unattractive hear me out in my 23 years of life these 5 perks are something I noticed 1 you blend into the background which is great for work and school projects are a life saver your rarely assigned major roles and just skate by without anyone really caring 2 People love you for you whats a rare thing if you're ugly like me and people still wanna date you or be friends just because they like you as a person I find Attractive people are always surrounded by friends but can never tell who likes them not just wanting to sleep with them 3 im gay so dunno if it counts with other sexual identitys you are more likely to be picked on dating/hookup websites because people are curious about you or feel more secure around you as you are not as attractive as them 4 You can always work out and buy form fitting clothes which will distract from ugly face 5 confidence is key i know people will say im being harsh on myself but where I grew up im seen as very unattractive from friends family romantic interests but you can turn it into a strength looking different is currently celebrated in today's modern day culture its more mainstream then it was 10 years ago hopeful this advice helps people like me as its been a lifesaver for me hope everyone has a great day
I feel your resolve and I want to tell you that no matter how unattractive you think you are someone will always think differently. Even of you buy a ton of good clothes if you don't feel comfortable enough in your own skin it won't feel right. I still have low confidence myself as well from being bullied but trust me one day you'll find someone and even if you don't you should learn to love yourself. Self love is most important.

Ok but why did this comment make me feel better than even the original video. Like who really cares if I am ugly? Ugly ppl get married, get promotions, and do the things they love. I also feel like ppl like me more for me than just for looks. I would add on for me, I get hit on less in clubs & bars than my friends. As a matter of fact, the prettier you are on the outside, the more likely there is rotten fruit on the inside. Also, the one that counts the most, God and what he sees when he looks at you, physical appearance has absolutely no meaning to him. I can also say that I have had very, very few people in my life that i have dearly loved and cared about and none of those relationships had anything to do with how the person looked on the outside, but how they made me feel on the inside when I was around them. The true value of each person really does abide in their heart. And it seems the prettier a person is on the outside, the less likely they are to work on themselves on the inside.

There were times when I feel absolutely worthless and ashamed of how I look. But, in the past 5-6 years until now, there are still some people I know (colleagues, lecturers even strangers online) told me I'm attractive.
I guess it would be biased to rate my own given how everyone has their own idea of attractiveness. So, I used that confidence to build image for myself. Not for others. They are welcomed to have their own say in how I look. We do not live to please others or an eye candy or a subject of criticism.
JUST BE YOURSELF. as long as you're comfortable and happy in your own skin.
I noticed my crush would often sneak glances at me or look away quickly when I looked at him. We're no longer in contact but I think he found me attractive looking back at it.

This guy in my 4th and 5th period has been making a lot of eye contact with me. I recently realized he has a really beautiful smile and I realized I might have a bit of a crush so I started paying attention to him more. I’ve caught him staring at me a lot in 5th period and on my way out of 4th period last week he was completely staring at me the whole time he was walking to the door I even looked away and looked back to see if he was still staring. I also feel like we are always passing by eachother in the halls
i have really low self-esteem -- like, it's in the negative digits, I hate myself. So, even though I sometimes have suicidal thoughts, it's comforting to know that however strong the urge is to end my life, I physically can't bring myself to thanks to that promise. Obviously, it's not great and probably a bit unhealthy to depend your life on one sole thing like a person or God, but if their existence, presence and love is powerful, mutual and stable enough, I think we'll be fine. Before watching this video, I thought everyone around me found me somewhat attractive. After watching this video, I now know that I am an idiot.😍
When I see some stranger that is super attractive I cannot stop staring at them from a distance but as soon as they get close my systems shut down and I become super nervous (probably insecurities), wouldent hug them or get close and I tend to look down and wishing for them to move away from me, it is like their very presence threatens me even if it is someone of the opposit sex. Idk I feel like pretty peoples just have a hoard of peoples staring at them from a distance but noone really goes close to them like they are some divine god/godess.

I used to have a friend that would call out all my insecurities when we got around boys or someone I liked she would sit there and laugh at me about them with all the boys eventually I called her out about it and later on she told me that she was jealous of me because of the way I looked and that she wish she look like me so she broke me down every time we were around people to make herself feel better😭

One thing that kinda makes me feel like people find me attractive kinda is that when I ask something of people they do it and also people are just very welcoming of me and let me get away with some things. Also when I talk people smile and give me their full attention. I’ve also noticed after talking to a boy for a little bit, they always end up seeming like they like me but at the same time what if it’s all in my head. When I tell people my insecurities they seemed surprised but I also am friends with a lot of people who have a ton of insecurities that they’re very open about where I don’t normally share my insecurities

I've never had a girl display those signs to me, I think I look handsome but sometimes I think I'm boring and get sad over the thought I never had a girlfriend and don't want to face the fact that I will never get one. Having a dislike for using social media, can't call or text with my phone (thanks a lot dad), being a wimp, being geeky and also feel like I'm still a little child because I have three older siblings that all work, I have no money, no car, still follow my mom's rules, I don't swear at home but I sometimes do at school but most people are very vulgar, and no God dang facial hair. There are some girls I talk to but there friends and I highly doubt they're interested in me. The first one is Bisexual and I've kinda said some mean stuff about her interests but we still talk sometimes and joke around. Another girl is a junior we had an interest for heavy metal music and listen to the same sub genres like thrash, speed, death, early metal, and a lot of bands my brothers and I listen to until I learned she already has a boyfriend (never talked to him but I've seen him before and despite me being taller than him it looks he's capable of kicking my ass) and a Senior who I see her in a class and lunch but if we do become boyfriend and girlfriend it will be tricky since she is three years older than me and has a car and a job, but I don't know if she's in to me and we share similar interests , she laughs at my low effort jokes and I'm nice towards her and her brother. Everytime I see a person with their lover in their arms or kissing I ask my myself, can I get that? Why can't I have that? When? This felt like a long rant but it felt good typing this, and at one point I was tearing up. I'm thankful that you've read all of this and I appreciate that.
I'd say I'm good looking but I'm a very quiet person. I don't make myself approachable and usually reject interactions with others. I like it this way. That's why I always hate myself whenever I find interest in a girl, because at the end of the day, I'm better off alone.

I don't give compliments very much mainly because I'm shy, but I would definitely give compliments to my future significant other because of their beauty. In any case, I'd rather someone compliment me, though I don't get complimented very often anyway and I'm an introvert and quite shy. :)
I always felt that the personal bubble invasion wasn't a sign that people were attracted to me but a lack of respect and boundaries. Like they think they can just do whatever they want to me and have me be okay with it. When I'm attracted to someone I feel scared to piss them off so I don't really want to invade their space. Maybe it's just me, everyone behaves differently afterall.
I might invade someone's space if I like them and feel comfortable around them. Romantically or relationally. But I also have smaller bubbles for people I like. And I've worked in food... you can't have large bubbles working in food.
I think if someone thinks I'm too close for their comfort they would tell me. Hopefully nicely. It's not my responsibility to know their boundaries. It's their responsibility to let me know theirs, and respectfully let me know if I cross it. Especially it I haven't been made aware of beforehand.
It's a question of reading the room, although I feel like when it's time to move closer you should already know if it is wanted or not. Either way, if you misread, I doubt people will be angry as long as you withdrew when it was demonstrated you'd made a mistake.
All this time I thought people were just weird & evasive..
Come to find out, I'm just Attractive☺
