Good luck finding reasonable 19" tires. I think you can find more options in the 20" but not an option for the TRD or Touring trim. If you want a softer ride go down in the wheel diameter.
I wonder how many steaks you can cook on that grill 😂 gotta admit, I did test drive this thing and it’s a smooth ride with a nice kick. Looks way better in person and it’s super luxurious
Unless you get a good deal, with destination and dealership scalping fee, it will be closer to $50K, especially where I live in Honolulu. The TRD is based on the XSE trim, so it has most of the options available. The styling is much nicer than the Camry TRD, which is more mainstream, and based on the SE trim with a V6, to be more affordable. The Avalon TRD is expensive and big, but if that's what you want, and can afford it, you probably are not concerned about the price. So many people say the Camry and Avalon TRD should have more power, but they would probably not be intending to buy it anyway, and many, without professional driver training could not handle it, though with the suspension and bracing set up, it is much more easier to keep under control. The interior is nice, especially the seats, but the stereo design does not allow for the JBL sound system with the CD player, which is included with the Camry TRD if you get one with the option package. With that said, I will opt for the Camry TRD with the option package if I can get it, as the size is more to my liking, and more affordable. I wish the rear seat could fold down, but I can live with that, and the XSE features that's not available on the TRD. At first, I did not like the big rear spoiler, or the red striped pattern of the seats, but it grew on me, and I like it now. I just wish they included the fog lights from the Camry Nightshade SE XP Edition. Toyota got it right for both the Camry and Avalon TRD, with the aesthetics, reliable N/A V6, exhaust, chassis, suspension and brake modifications. For those that criticize it, they haven't drove it, and what they want is probably more in line with a Honda Civic Type R, or Subaru WRX STi, which is not the type of vehicle these were intended to be.
I already test drove a Camry TRD. It’s amazing, better than my Audi s6 in terms of handling. However it’s not faster than it. The Toyota Camry TRD was made to enhance the handling on the car at least that’s what Toyota told me. They didn’t touch the engine for a reason and it’s actually the cheapest way to get into a Camry v6.
@@teslaguy5311 Exactly. Everybody is crying for more power, but Toyota wants to keep it reliable. Most of these aren't going to buy the TRD anyway. Those that do know how, or can find aftermarket tuners, but if something breaks, that's their problem. I still believe the TRD is retuned for engine and transmission response to match the exhaust. It would be way enough power for me, as long as it had the option package with the JBL CD stereo. My biggest downside is the rear seat does not fold down.
I own the TRD camary....a blast to drive and sounds great. The 6 is reliable and has plenty of linear power. It cost me 31k out the door. While I am not crazy about some of the interior after market parts can take care of that...all in all a great value from yota.
It's not the 1980's where they have to break in motors. The motors are actually ran and balanced long before it goes into the body. Drive it like you stole it from day 1.
jokicha no turbo is needed but it has a condenser and radiator in the middle anyways as every car does. It needs a manual and then oil and trans coolers on sides. With all this and RWD it would sell well.
The Camry is more popular as the pricing makes it competitive with the other sport trim Camrys and the XSE V6. At $45K, there's a lot more options and different cars that open up at that price point.

While I am not crazy about some of the interior after market parts can take care of that...all in all a great value from yota.
has 3 miles... And you revved the engine as if it was broken into.
Davonte Young are we complaining?
This car is bulletproof who cares
It’s a Toyota not a bmw or Audi
Doesn’t matter if it’s a Toyota or not, it’s just disrespectful
It's not the 1980's where they have to break in motors. The motors are actually ran and balanced long before it goes into the body. Drive it like you stole it from day 1.
What was the flashing green lights on the dash?
Loved the 06 Avalon was deff a sleeper;)
$45K for TRD badges and red seat belts.
PortlandXXrush lmao
Did he REALLY say that brakes add horsepower?!
It is some internal joke those who watch "Mighty Car Mods" here on RUclips will understand! 😉
its a joke about how red trim/painted components add horsepower
John Guardado stickers add 60 hp
hows the handling in the rain ..?
I hope they do a whole allot more when they redesign the TUNDRA TRD ITS OLD N TIERED
TOYOTA!!! BRING THIS CAR TO AUSTRALIA :-(
الله يرزقني يارب 40 ادعولي😍
الله يرزقني ويرزقك ويرزق المسلمين اجمعين
الله يرزقك ويرزقني إنشاء الله
From the thumbnail, I thought this was the 2021 Optima. They look similar from the rear.
How did he do the auto start from the fob?
I like the interior more than the Camry....
Well, this is a step above the Camry.
same POS transmission as Camry?????
jon peterson of course. Both Camry and Avalon shares the samething
interior looks like similar a lil bit on 10thgen black honda civic si like the streering wheel, colors and the front of the passenger seats styles lol
the grille could be good for an oil cooler on one side, trans cooler on the other, then an intercooler in the middle if charged
jokicha no turbo is needed but it has a condenser and radiator in the middle anyways as every car does. It needs a manual and then oil and trans coolers on sides. With all this and RWD it would sell well.
Camry Exterior
Avalon Interior
Perfect blend for me...
They should have just supercharged it
I think the 2005-08 was the best body style I like when Avalon focused more on luxury comfortable ride rather then a sporty look my personal opinion.
The Camry is more popular as the pricing makes it competitive with the other sport trim Camrys and the XSE V6. At $45K, there's a lot more options and different cars that open up at that price point.
