All I could think while watching this epic match this morning was “i wonder what 2 minutes of gameplay RG will use for their highlights”
I didn't watch the mach, I think this video was actually good.
The video is actually good ngl
What pisses me off is the fact they take down non-official channels which are doing better highlights... Not even on site or apps they have better highlights wtf
Literally cause how they even call this highlights
Hey, that's not true! They gave us whole minute extra from what you were wondering, pal!!
3 min highlights for one of the biggest matches of the tournament 🙄
The match was not so good, a lot of unforced errors
100% Did my best to find highlights on other channels. RG must be trying to squash channels better than theirs 🤣
@nicozuki you're missing the point here. I'm not talking about the quality of the match but the popularity of it with Novak out of the picture these 2 guys is the most hype ever no one give a fuck about mr girlfriend beater vs mr nice guy
I'm ok with this one.
Edit: I mean, the highlights are ok to me, great shots.
@@nicozuki agree, a lot of ues in this match so this highlight was done right
5 sets, and 8 points, oh also the introduction and handshake for 25 seconds and another 25 seconds for celebration.
These "dimlights" are criminally short. This is some asshole, greedy exec who's saying, "Hey, they won't pay for the big cable package if we give 'em too good of a highlights!"
It would be worth to upload a extended highlight of every match. 3 minutes is not enough for a big match like this
My girlfriend says 3 minutes is fine.
I'm surprised they don't say, "For $18.99, we'll show you another 2 minutes."

Sky is the limit with this rivalry. It's scarcely believable how epic it is and it's only been 9 matches between them so far! Imagine how much more epic it can get in the next 5, 10, 15 years...
A 21-year old and a 23-year old. We get to watch this rivalry as they each reach their peak physical powers the next few years, and then their peak tennis years. Ten+ years of exciting matches.

Alcaraz is a beast
Carlos' mental capacity never ceases to amaze me.
He is probably one of the strongest in the final set of a Grand Slam.
And SINNER also ran very well on a surface that is not his strong point.
The second half of this year will be your time.
Sinner still may end up 1st as he has the least amount of clay points to defend
@@dannytran1587 Sinner will be ranked No. 1 from Monday June10. Alcaraz 2, Joker 3.
If Zverev wins, Alcaraz could drop to No.4?

Tennis TV is the key
I think we can all agree that Tennis won today. I'm just excited to see this duo battle for the next gen. It'll be interesting to see who will come out at the top in the end. Well done to both. Tough that one had to leave today, it was anyones match
Why don't "we" leave out phrases that begin with "We can all agree on _______________" !
Of course that is how Hitler started every sentence and we know what that leads to.
And there is no NextGen any more these are the current older players you see every week now. Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Murry ... gone.

3 minutes are not enjoyable. It should be at least 7-10 minutes long.
This epic match can be summarized in a few words:
Sinner has one weapon, his baseline game, which is currently the deadliest in the game.
Alcaraz has several weapons, not necessarily the deadliest, but which he can rely on and deploy at will.
When Sinner couldn't hurt Alcaraz with his deadliest weapon anymore, he was lost. Alcaraz deployed all his weapons at will without fear and won the match. As simple as that.
Sinner needs to work on a few other weapons.
Sinner wasn't at 100% he didnt train for 3 weeks
@Op_Panda_Liftingwarriors oh, come on. He swatted away lesser opponents easily. Yes, he could have won, had he kept his composure in the latter half of the match. Alcaraz displayed better mental fortitude.
@@Op_Panda_LiftingSimulator😂😂
Please, lecture the World Number One. I'm sure he values your counsel.
this is such a terrible summary of this epic match.
If Carlos is the one to win the tournament, imagine how he'd feel if Rafa was the one to present the trophy to him
On other perspective, rafa will take the limelight from alcaraz, people will definitely cheer him more.
Carlos will probably get to play doubles with Rafa in Olympics. So they'll have their moments under the sun.
As for the RG Finals ceremony, doesn't make sense to have someone that's still active in the sport, hand the winner his trophy
That's not gonna happen, Nadal is not an ex player.

As much as i was rooting for Sinner, Alcaraz thoroughly deserves this one. He showed greater adaptability, held his nerve slightly better, and came up with some genius shots.
As for Sinner, his baseline game is enough to beat everyone else on tour. But he needs to incorporate some variety and improve his return of serve : The last game, he had three chances all from the deuce court and messed
all of them up, by going too big, or not reading Alcaraz's serve.
i totally agree he shouldve adapted to the fact alcaraz kept pulling him out wide with his serve on the deuce side
@@dinkydoodle8325 Yep. The last game was a horror for Sinner.
I also agree with you. What I like from Alcaraz is his varied shots which are not boring. If only 100% of all his shots are perfectly executed and placed, then nobody will have the chance
Spot on analysis. Sinner needs to adapt better to change of tactics from his opponents. Alcarez is far more adaptable and paces his game well.
Actually, Sinner did nothing wrong and his ground strokes were better than Alcaraz. His only mistake is meeting Alcaraz and there is nothing he could have done about it
For those who saw the full match, for almost a set and half, it seemed like Sinner was going to run away with the match.
Eerily similar to Djokovic vs. Federer matchup. Where the Djoker suffocates Fed. at the baseline, incessantly targeting his backhand, causing Fed. to go ultra-agressive and hence creating a slew of unforced errors.
But this is where i think Carlos has already established himself as an all-time great, not statistics wise, but supreme adaptability. He gradually turned the screws on Sinner, he became Djokovic-like, drawing Jannik into long rallies, and he was the one extracting errors, as the Italian went too big at times trying to get past the Alcaraz wall.
Basically, Sinner buckled under the extreme pressure... he had his chances, though.
Just enough footage to be able to show approximately 5 points played, each of them being a set point.
Carlos is back better and smarter. He was being crushed by Sinner in the first set, but then his groove got going and both were testing each other until it was Carlos who gained the aggression edge. 😮
As you said, first sets Sinner was superior, but then he needed medical attentions during the breaks. He wasn't at 100% thats why he slowly disappeared

@@PeterParker-tj4ss First three sets... he lost the second set by 2 breaks? His first set was great, but Alcaraz played poorly on that one too, so that's not a great indicative. And let's be real, in the third they both struggled and had cramps. Sinner showed a lot of mental toughness and won that one, but they were both pretty fucked. Fourth & fifth Alcaraz showed not only mental toughness but endurance. So, he was really only better in one set, while in the third he was tougher mentally. This should've been a final match, not semifinal. What a match!
What an amazing match! These two are the future of tennis rivalry if they continue this way.
All of the other major sports have extended highlights. I am older and don't have time to watch full matches. This short content doesn't scratch the itch. I want to follow the match more or less. Give a 12 minute highlight of the best and most important shots so that we who have less time can still follow the sport in a way that is more than 8 points for most people's two favorite players. It's nonsense.
Thumbing down every video til RG starts adding extended highlights👍
Sound good to me ..... I'll do the same.
I watched the whole match and can confirm there were a lot of cool and dynamic points that were left out of these unbelievably short 2 min highlights. I know we had a lot of unforced errors today, but nonetheless Carlos and Sinner delivered at least a dozen of impressive rallies that RG team completely ignores.
It’s crazy how a 4 hour 5 set match can have 3 minutes of highlights.
This is a glamorous match. This rivalry will sustain for a long time
Alcaraz absolutely popped off. Sinner played great tho
See Djokovic in Sinner and Nadak+Federer (Tenacity+movement/shot placement) in Alcaraz. They make up for the champions we will

Final before the actual finale. Sinner & Alcaraz, both of them are tennis new age show-stopper who are far-ahead from contemporary contenders.
This match was a bit odd, it felt like neither player reached their best but they somehow managed to be equal about it until she fourth where alacaraz woke up a bit, the level wasn't quite what I thought I would be but the match was gripping nonetheless, another great win for Alcaraz and and another fun 5 setter between these 2
The next gen and future of tennis will be in good hands with these two champions ❤
They r good, but nowhere near the level the big 3 and Murray Wawrinka and Delpo were showing.
Oh wow, almost a full 45 seconds per set. Great stuff!!
I would say that half of us got the result right, and almost all of us got the 5 sets right.
On clay, with a crowd against, with physical problems for 5 sets (the same ones that led him to his previous only 2 losses of the season - kudos to the physical therapist who helped him several times during the match), Sinner managed to play a fantastic match against a great Alcaraz. How boring are you in the comments talking about Sinner not deserving the top ranking? Djoko would not have beaten Dimitrov either. Today Sinner and Alcaraz proved once again that another era has dawned.
The most anticipated match of the slam, and RG extends their highlights from 3:08 to 3:14, great job RG!
Zverev vs Nadal, and Iga vs Naomi, were more anticipated.
Alcatraz deserve to win play stronger after the 3 set and now and the final and he can win his 3 grand Slam different courts😊🏆🎾🇪🇦

mi hai fatto un regalo 🎉🎉
Why?😢
Knowing Roland Garros’ stupid short highlights, I stayed up until 3am to watch this in Australia. And boy was it worth it.
I watched the whole thing on STAN, and it was great fun to watch for sure.
Fun facts:
(1) Carlos won by a -2 point margin due to poor choices in the first set. But he adjusted later.
(2) Yannick was vastly inferior at the net, on drop shots and lobs, had fewer winners for a similar ratio of winners to unforced errors.
(3) Both players felt cramps in the third set. Cramps are because players who use creatine and authorized stimulants need to use diuretics to avoid the water retention, and they don't get the dosage right. That's why you see those early cramps for very young players who still don't know their body so well
(4) Carlos could be seen holding his bottom muscle three times during the match, where he probably felt cramping. This explains why he was relieved at the end of the match, it was a tough duel physically.
Great analysis. Do you know anything about those pre workout powders ? I took one the other day and felt really jiterry , anxious for hours . Are they bad .
@@ja-kl8rg I know that according to insider sources about 50% of the top 100 take one form of stimulant, and it is very typical to use diuretics to combat water retention from creatine, so dosage issues can lead to cramps. Some say diuretics are also used as masking products but stimulants are actually authorized with a prescription. I think the late Federer also used them, because he had vastly different concentration levels depending on the match. But it is most obvious for Djokovic who in the past used too big doses and ended up becoming agressive, shouting like a mad man at the crowd, etc. This is how top players can always play great in important moments, those stimulants improve reaction times and focus, it works a bit like Ritalin, it feels like you think more things per second and time is running slower. But if you dose them too high, then you can get anxious or angry as well.
@pureffm also them not giving players towels in 1st wasn’t right and why Carlos was hot
