Unreal how Djokovic dominated the forever strongest era of tennis. 2011 was something,
but the come back of 2018 and 2023 are simply out of this world
the guy deserves all the possible praise, total god of tennis

2008 to 2017. Best days of tennis for me. Days of the big 4. They first achieved top four positions in Oct 2008 and last in Sep 2017.
The Big 3 kept fighting hard to get the big prize while Murray kept losing and waiting for his moment.
Finally he got it all in 2016 but then he had to pay a heavy price for it.
Also, Wawrinka proved to be a monster on his big days and won 3 GSs in 3 years. Potro was the most talented after the Big four but injury ruined his potential success.
I remember how most of the time at least 3 out of the big four kept taking 4 semi finals positions in all grand slams. 2012 was a special year when all won a piece.
Edit: when anyone mentions the big four, he never means that Andy was as good as the big 3, it's about the top 4 players of that era with an exceptional consistency.

Nadal also missed a record 17 GCs in his career due to injury and in the end it is logical that he was always behind the other two because he rarely went an entire season without injuries. Andy Murray was probably one of the 20 best tennis players of all time. The fact that he only lead ATP ranking for less than a year and remained fourth for so long just show how fierce a competition he had. Djoko, Nadal and Federer were all simultaneously battling for the title of GOAT, the 3 of them are probably the top 3 best players of all time and that's really an amazing thing to see, since it's common to see in sports rivalries between 2 great players to become the top, but it's very rare to see a 3-way rivalry where all the 3 of them are very matched and each of them had their ups and downs and even during downs, they still managed to beat one another, spectacular thing to witness. Federer is probably the most skilled tennis player of all time, his finesse and technique are on par to no one, Nadal is probably the most athletic player of all time, his strength and ball speed is unrivaled, while Djoko is probably the most diverse player of all time, while he didn't particular exceled in no trait, he was an awesome all arounder, and at was great are everything, capable of keeping the ball in court for the longest time (his best trait was probably his resistance now that I think of it). All of this to say, how pitiful it is for Murray to be so underrated when he was clearly a star, but he just so happened to be born in an era of 3 black holes that devoured everything possible.

if we take Nole, Rafa and Roger individually, it's impressive what they've done and they achived so far more than anyone has ever done. But if we look at them as a trio, it's even more outstanding: all of them have won at least 20 slam and all of them have been n°1 for at least 200 weeks, with the other two around almost all the time!
Even if their records will be broken by someone else, we have to think about that.
It's such a gift that Nadal, Djokovic and Federer existed in the same era!

All right! The open era is enough. How about discussing ATP players with most weeks at no. 1 before open era? Because i read some articles and i found out that the list of no. 1 ATP players before open era:

    2) Bill Tilden: 368 weeks
    3) Willie Renshaw: 366 weeks
    4) Pancho Gonzales: 365 weeks
    5) Ellsworth Vines: 280 weeks
    6) Jack Kramer: 279 weeks
    7) Laurie Doherty: 262 weeks
    8) Tony Wilding: 244 weeks
    9) Ken Rosewall and Reggie Doherty: 208 weeks
But another article states that the list of no. 1 ATP players before open era:
    1) Bill Tenden: 723 weeks
    2) Rod Laver: 452 weeks
    3) Tony Wilding: 378 weeks
If I'm not mistaken, they got more weeks at no. 1 cuz they not only played single, but also mixed double and men's double so their weeks of no. 1 was also also accumulated. Moreover, it was right that they all won GS in every sectors not only single, but also both mixed double and men's double. Correct me if i am wrong
