- SpaceX's Starship Flight 4 mission is the fourth test flight of the company's Starship and Super Heavy launch vehicle. When fully assembled, they stand nearly 400 feet tall and are the world's largest and most powerful rocket. SpaceX has designed Starship as a fully reusable ultra-heavy lift launch system for missions to the moon, Mars and beyond. NASA's Artemis program, for one, has selected Starship as the lander to carry Artemis 3 astronauts to the south pole of the moon in 2026.

Man that booster water landing was right out of a SF novel! Congrats to SpaceX on a successful, spectacular mission!
That damaged flap MOVING and landig in the ocean is the most excited i've ever been during one of these flights.
time stamp
not a damaged flap, the fin was oscillating to guide the booster
@@joeljain10 check out the reentry and landing footage. happens towards the end of reentry
Congrats to the spaceX team for making history! What an incredible flight
Elon: if a single tile falls starship is doomed
Control surface: 🗿
CGI has gone big tech, once all the monkeys are dumbed down they can close up shop.🤣🤣🤣
the control surface has its own heat shielding, its totally independent from the hull shielding.
Congratulations, Starship! I remember watching the first Falcon landing in class. It's incredible to see how far things have come since then.
МАСК КРАСАВЧИК!!!!!Удачи ему!!!!!Россия аплодирует!!!МОЛОДЕЦ!!МОЛОДЕЦ!!
Those pressure waves as it passes through the first 1000 meters are insane!
Those pressure waves are wicked!!! can even see them from top down view going over the beach before liftoff.
AMAZING! WELL DONE everyone, the whole team and every1 evolved! Hope next year its 100% better!
I still vividly recall the moment when Elon Musk unveiled the ITS spacecraft in 2016. At the time, I couldn't help but wonder how long it would take for such an ambitious project to come to fruition. Now, eight years later, witnessing its successful operation feels truly remarkable.
I watched live from beginning to the end. I am sorry you did not continue this vid to show the landing of Starship. It was incredible watching the fin slowly melt and come apart ---- but amazing to see the final successful landing. What I REALLY wanted to see is how successful that landing was .... how much of the ship survived the reentry. Maybe later. BUT: one thing that is a bit annoying is the uncontrolled laughter. One of the women announcers was overjoyed a few too many times. I realize it is very emotional seeing this milestone in flight, for someone that is a part of the project. It was just distracting. Don't call me a suzie-downer, because this is an amazing achievement and perhaps I should just let it go ---- but being a Virgo is difficult at times..... Great Job in spite of my nit-picking.
After you've watched it, I recommend watching again in 2x! Amazing!
33:10 start of 10 sec countdown
Старшип это торжество безумия, дерзости и гения! Илон Маск ты велик!
Insane work by spacex. Next flight with booster catch is bout to be exciting.
So many pieces fell off the booster and Starship that I would say they’re still not ready for a chopstick catch.
The giant flap that could! Amazing work from all the teams at SpaceX.
Congratulations to the team and SpaceX. Spectacular work.!!!!!
History was made today. Congratulations SpaceX. On toward the Moon and Mars!
It's amazing to see how far SpaceX has come! Every flight brings us closer to Mars. Incredible work, team! 🚀🎉
太爽了,我好像见证了历史
Howard Wolowitz would be proud!
Great Job SpaceX Team!👍
Amazing that the flap survived 16k km/h with a hole in it
amazing space flight
Congratulations, Starship! Melhor que qq filme de SYFY! Fenix Flap and Imortal camera....stars of the show!
They are making history. So exciting to watch. I can't even imagine being hands on part of it. Unbelievable. Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉
The little flap that could... Go Star Ship... I can't believe I just witnessed history.. congratulations everyone 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Just beautiful! This is what we should be celebrating and investing time in
Absolutely outstanding
The little flap that could... Go Star Ship... I can't believe I just witnessed history.. congratulations everyone
Congratulations SpaceX, amazing work👍
History in the making, congratulations to everyone involved
First complete succesful flight by starship. Awesome!
What a team, and what a great flight.
That is a whole lot of progress in not so much time. Congrats! Way faster going to space than the local construction crew here fixing a roundabout.
THIS IS AMAZING!!
spectacular step toward space
Congratulations SpaceX launch 4 good job 👍😎❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🇺🇸❤️💯🚀🚀🚀👍👍👍 for A Successful test flight well done ✅ great video and viewing on the rocket 🚀🇺🇲
Future closing in rapidly.....great job guys!!!!
Magnificent coverage and successful mission Starship! Congratulations Elon and team! 🚀❤️
Congratulations Starship is amazing, go ahead 5th Test¡¡¡

Unfortunately you basically got to see how the left wing of space shuttle Columbia failed after missing heat shields
Your a legend Elon musk !!!! From me way down under in New Zealand 👍
Great work
Spacex's work is insane. This is going to be an amazing next flight with booster catch.
AWESOME! Congrats and great work! Keep pushing!
That was legendary! Glad to witness it!
Buck Rogers sci Fi right in front of our eyes. One thing I have to say SPACEX GETS IT DONE! Go Space X light that candel.and Godspeed.
That was incredible! I did not expect Starship to survive reentry and even perform the flip with half a flap missing.
Wow what drama amazing she held together greatbjob what a success
Congratulations! Your spaceflight was 99% successful! Honestly, great work!
This was awesome. In total they lost 2 engines on the booster. One on the outside ring on lift off and one of the middle ring during the landing burn. This was amazing to watch. They get better every time. And the ship survived with half of a flap missing
Congrats SpaceX
Did no one else notice the object travelling upwards at 39:40 -39:50?
I am so proud of you guys this is the only good great thing that has happened this year.
Fantastic work! Go SpaceX!
I love this video, it looks like complete good documentary❤
simply awesome
Great work guys.
The ship and the 1/4 burnt flap that could!
Marshmallow burn was a flex
Amazing feat
WOW! Good job team
Its so beautiful
Exciting. Congrats
I just started weeping for no reason, so exciting 😊
❤Yeah, pure amazement, what we the "crazy apes" can achieve UNITED! 🤗
Brilliant well done
Well done and props to entire SpaceX for IFT-4 Success! The flap was massive hero. ❤
Flappy refused to die before finishing the mission!!!
i love it i love spacex
Congrats space x grrrreat job!!!!👍👍👍
congrats to the huge success
Bravo Zulu, SpaceX ! Well done, Carry on ... ^v^
Super exciting!!! And great improvements and progress between each attempt. I hope they can keep this level of progression going... we'll be landing people on Mars in no time :o)
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Better and better ‼️ good job Space X 👌🏽
一级火箭有一个发动机没点着
The flaps are the most sensitive element in the starship creating a weakness point at the joint axis, even if they placed those small plasma shield at the front & base of the flap the plasma heat still entering that area , those moving flaps are a design problem that need to be Re Engineered...
What a time to be alive
恭喜
launch: 37:04
Wonderful success!
May I ask. How do they intend to land the top portion? Is it still to catch it mid air? Or land on its own like the boosters?
That is great but what affect is the StarBase on the wildlife preserve nearby?
Congrats! 🤩
Congratulations!
One rocket went down right after liftoff, but 32of 33managed to get high enough for okay hot stage separation,
As much progress has been made, it still has a long way to go
Thanks for the wet blanket. NASA much?
It's been a long road....
@@silverstake88 You're welcome! Submarine, deep Submergence, diver, and industrial mechanic much
@@jeffb33 With a much longer road ahead
Why was when the rocket took off there was only 33 motors glowing not 34
Amazing!
Amazing!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO SPACE X!!!!!!
Nice!
The Blue Danube was an excellent touch ❤❤
Amazing mission!
Reentry appeared to be over 15 minutes? How long should reentry normally take? (Hard to tell with a cracked lens when reentry actually stopped)
Did I see green reentry flames???
Also, I think we now know why Starship 3 failed at reentry...
Looks like some remedial maintenance is needed on the flap joints lol
wow amazing and see dome earth when go down see shelf dome amazing ❤🎉😊
I wonder what drone they use for their launch videos. How awesome that would be to be the operator! If SpaceX made a consumer drone, I would die.
Amazing!
Landed like that beat up plane in hot shots
So many parts and pieces flying off the vehicle 43: 43:22
Why no cameras in the golf sea to see the ship land?
we got a starship splashdown before GTA six 💀
