Sure, he’s great at getting under trump’s skin and if he’s so terrible then why does he have the highest ratings for the key demographic age range of any of them in the group? Even more than the iconic “tonight show “ which he beats regularly. It’s clearly not the result of a strong tv lineup leading into his show since abc is clearly a step behind nbc and cbs, even though I like all of them and I personally prefer John Stewart, he remains a close second.
I see all of these four shows (+ Jimmy Fallon), all fantastic. But in my opinion, Seth's show has been outstanding over the last couple of years. You can just watch him talk about anything and not get bored. Thank you, Seth and his writers. You all have a great sense of humor.

He doesn't do a traditional monologue like the others but his is set up more like a weekend update segment. Which is my favorite thing on SNL. He's funny but he is a little bit of an acquired taste for his brand of humor.
I do like how Jon understands that without all of the people behind him, he wouldn't have a show to earn an Emmy. I'm very happy to see that he acknowledges that he's a cog in the machine, and not the machine itself, and really genuinely cares about everyone else he works with. Also, Desi looked amazing and I may have a slight crush on her.
It’s nice to see how the late night shows all get along and genuinely like each other. Versus back in the day when it was about beating everyone else and being toxic, they just respect each other and focus on making their shows better.
Jon, Jordan, Desi Michael and Ronny are killing it on the Daily Show. It’s like old times. I love the daily rotation - it keeps it fresh and exciting.😊

I am so happy 'The Daily Show' won the Emmy. I started watching Jon Stewart on 'The Daily Show' in the early 2000s. I FAITHFULLY watched until Jon left in 2015. I stopped watching 'The Daily Show' shortly after Jon left. The show just was never quite the same. I was ABSOLUTELY thrilled to see Mr. Stewart back in the Anchor's chair this year(even if only temporary). Jon Stewart has been dearly missed! I hope Jon returns to 'The Daily Show' full time. In my opinion, Jon Stewart=The Daily Show!

I wouldn’t watch the show if it weren’t for Dulce, Ronnie, Jordan, Desi, Michael, and the other talented correspondents. I miss Roy and Trevor a lot. I’m still heartbroken that we went from having so much diversity in late night news coverage to it looking kinda homogenous again at least with the main hosts. And im side eyeing some other channels and shows that have forced out Black and LGBTQIA+ journalists too. I bring up the intersectionality of news and the daily show because I genuinely feel like Trevor Noah understood the assignment and understood that he had to cover all the stories of the day because so much of his audience only got the news from him; Jon still seems to think the average viewer reads newspapers and focuses more on the jokes. It’s to each their own, but Trevor’s younger and fresher style appealed to Gen Z a lot more.
I love all the correspondents that are on at the moment. I do have to give a shout out to Jordan because he is the GOAT when it comes to attending the rallies and keeping a straight face while getting people to put their full stupidity on display

Though I love me some Colbert, the right choice was the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I don't know how many of these he's received, but having watched him for over 25 years, he deserves to win it each year. The man has incredible timing and I've learned so much about American Politics while laughing my ass off! The writing is awesome and he was never afraid to ask the tough questions to any of his guests. He has given comedians like Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell a hand up into becoming very successful celebrities. I'm sure it brings him great joy to help everyone that has worked on camera for that show to become stars in their own right. As a bonus his advocacy on behalf of Veterans makes him a hero in my book and worthy of the Medal for Freedom. Congratulations Jon and team. This was very well deserved. 🎉👏

It’s not the first time I’ve heard Jon list the correspondents and not include Dulce. She also hasn’t hosted the show for a long time now. I almost thought she quit the show as well like Roy Wood Jr., but there she is on stage with the team. So maybe she has gone to a writer only role on the show, which if that decision came from the showrunner/exec producer would be a bit odd because she is really funny, but she is the least good at hosting in the current group of correspondents in my opinion.
@@bigbrotherau05 I’ve met Dulce twice recently at comedy shows in the Los Angeles area and both times, as well as during her recent appearance on the Don Lemon show, she has expressed a desire to host anytime she is asked and says she loves having the chance to do so. She had her original hosting run cut short by the writers strike and really deserves another shot to be a long term host of the show. She’s fantastic, funny, and a fresh voice on the comedy scene. She’s also very generous with her time and was so gracious when I met her, even though I totally ambushed her coming off the stage lol because I was so excited to meet her. Unlike other celebrities, she proved the “never meet your heroes” thing wrong because she is seriously just as amazing in real life. I really hope she gets more recognition in the future for how amazing and funny and talented she is and what she brings to the show.

But also news came out recently about the sheer amount of stand up material that Josh Johnson puts up anyway outside of the show, so maybe he had a gig or a prior engagement. But in any case, he remains my favorite correspondent and he's definitely a rising talent to keep an eye on.
I tune into Josh’s stand-up on RUclips every time he puts out something new, he is amazing! He can produce incredibly funny and insightful new material every single week on his own, whatever he does for the daily show….

I found his jokes are only to certain people. as I can get a laugh from other late night shows, especially Conan and TDS
