Ohh Love Olivia Colman -she comes across as such a genuinely lovely funny lady-If not slightly bumbling…which frankly…just adds to her colossal charm and overwhelming grace! One of the few acceptance ‘speeches’ that I laughed out loud at. Enjoyed every second of it. And Meryl’s Cinderella moment with her shoe was delightful too. Now we all know who her Prince Charming is. ☺️

I used to watch Helena's speech on repeat back when I was a teenager but hadn't watched it since. I still love her with all my heart and rewatching this felt incredibly nostalgic but also made my heart very happy :')

As an older woman (and an actress) it is extremely amusing to see the befuddled vacant expressions on the younger female audience's faces when Streep and Bonham-Carter make searing witticisms or state profound truths. The distance between 30 and 60 or 70 is just unfathomable, kids. You have no idea. Life is a trip.

I just watched “the post”. I loved her quirks and little ticks playing Katherine Graham. She decided to print the pentagon papers “let’s go! Let’s go!” This little nervous hum she would do. You know Spielberg found these things and asked her to run with it.
