Chloe’s so sweet. But I wouldn’t be so sure on Chloe and her view on these things, on the Page six interview that’s come out she said she agrees with her mom. Paige and Brooke for sure know the motives and are super close to Melissa’s and the zieglers. They hold no bitternes, and know the show throws shade at the Zieglers, always has tried to make them look bad. Christi still holds resentment to this day and I feel she plotted against them often, they aren’t as bad as Christi makes them seem. They also knows Nia actually planned the party, it makes sense since they were all in same place for once and it was Paige’s birthday.

Producers never liked the Zieglers, yes they were Abby’s faves but not theirs, they’ve always tried painting them in a bad light and that’s where most their trauma stems from. Sad thing is it gets overlooked because we only really saw treatment from abby not producer manipulation. It’s ever likely they didn’t want to go, when you watch this. They weren’t even there to defend themselves. Producers kept dropping seeds, some of the girls were jumping to say stuff , and the moms. It just goes to show behind the scenes, the zieglers didn’t have an easy time and are targets.

Oh my god these producers are evil. The way they are speaking is extremally manipulative but to be completely honest, this is what I expected from them and the girls definitely should have as well! Going back to these horrible people to do a "reunion" is such a bad idea in my opinion because they must know that whatever they say is gonna be manipulated and the producers will do anything to start unnecessary drama. Well Maddie and Mackenzie for sure, with Nia we are not 100% certain. This was filmed in November, a time when final exams for universities and colleges happen and a lot of people say she could not attend filming because of those exams, yet she attended Paige’s party. But even if Nia could have, the producers and Abby were racist towards her. I would not blame Nia if that was the case, but as far as I know, she has not commented.

Maddie has given credit to the show but at some point she has moved on from that and has done some incredible things on her own that have nothing to do with DM. She is a beautiful and talented girl that would be where she is today regardless of that show. The show just gave her a boost and she capitalized on it as anyone in her position should and no one should begrudge her of that. She has the career she has because of her work ethic and determination, not solely because of DM so give her some credit where it is due. The show brought her to the forefront sooner but I feel that she would have gotten there on her own eventually without it. There is no mistaking her talent and to deny that is a pity and just plain callous on your part. She deserves to be treated fairly and objectively and not have it tinged with whatever remnants of Abby’s words that linger in the ether because of her bitterness over her and her sister leaving the ALDC.

As Kristie said in season 3, it's not fair to address someone when they are not there to defend themselves, and it just looks like Kalani, Jojo, and Kendall are using that to their advantage. The Ziegler sisters & Nia definitely made the right decision of not coming back to toxicity . I feel sorry for the trauma ALL these girls went through and the lasting effect it followed them into adulthood….but coming back to a reunion just to prove how grateful you are doesn’t equate to closure to this period of your life. The girls/moms that attended should respect that everyone is different and their time on the show was a different experience for each of them so they should not dictate how one should act or respond. The girls that didn’t attend the reunion have every right to not participate just like that those who did attend have every right to speak on their own behalf. The Zieglers & Nia do not owe anyone an explanation of their absence. I think it is in poor taste that some of these girls & Moms continue the toxic drama by making assumptions and statements that these girls owe everything to Dance Moms. Yes, the show catapulted their careers, but it is their own hard work that brought them success. Honestly, looking back at these clips…the emotional and verbal abuse they went through is absolutely sickening! I blame each Mom that allowed their child to partake in the show & Abby for the sake of fame. Maddie is still seen as the star of the show and Mackenzie is very loved. Melissa and Abby's plan worked. Watching the reunion opens my eyes. Yes, you can blame Abby and the producers, but you also have to hold the moms accountable as well. I understand there was a contract, however, contracts do end, and it ups to them to renew it. The producers were just instigating. This is exactly why the other girls probably did not want to show up. They were damned if they did and damned if they didn’t. Since they didn’t show, they’re being called ungrateful. Maddie had all the support from abby but little from anyone else, even the fandom. Abby was god awful to Chloe, but the producers loved Chloe, and so did the fans. The way the producers have even tried to show Maddie and her family in a bad light now all these years later just proves they always did this. As well as abby using her to get at all the girls back then, but she was just a kid that got caught in that cross fire being used and obsessed over by her teacher. All the other girls see Maddie as the girl who they were compared and treated awful to, because of abby. That’s why I think there is clear bitterness with some of them and their moms. The Zieglers weren’t even there to defend themselves that’s what’s more sad, but the first question production asked when they sat down was about the Zieglers not being there.
I love Christi, she was my fave but why couldn’t Melissa just have wanted to have a reunion since everyone was in town? They weren’t going so it made sense to see them outside of that. I don’t like how people are still painting Melissa as sneaky over something she did YEARS ago… Also I’ve had enough of Jojo in 2024 cause all she does is defend predators and whine about people not being grateful. Like girl Abby literally mentally and emotionally messed with them, she need to worry about the mess she got going on and stop.
it’s completely normal for someone to not wanna be involved with something that brought them trauma.. no matter how much stronger or better it made them.. or no matter who else went through similar and still is involved with what caused them trauma. we are all different individuals. no matter how SIMILAR the experience, the takeaway from it will differ from person to person.

Kelly looks amazing…everyone does actually. I’ve rewatched some of the old episodes recently and have a different perspective on the show than I did when I first watched it. I saw the episode where Abby cries to Maddie because she was upset Maddie stayed with the moms and other dancers in the parking lot instead of coming into the studio. (I don’t remember why) Abby putting that responsibility on a child was toxic. Then I realized why Maddie was the favorite. Maddie and her mom did not have the relationship Chloe and her mother did. I think Abby saw Maddie as her own, which became more evident as the show went on. When the Zieglers left, Abby said something about giving up the studio and continuing to work or be with Maddie. (Exactly what every young girl wants from a mother or a dance teacher in this case). I think she wanted them to have the relationship she and her own mother had. It’s sad how it all turned out for everyone. Chloe did not deserve the treatment she received. I am happy that she and the other girls have become smart and well-spoken young women.

Producers never liked the Zieglers, yes they were Abby’s faves but not theirs, they’ve always tried painting them in a bad light and that’s where most their trauma stems from. Sad thing is it gets overlooked because we only really saw treatment from abby not producer manipulation. It’s ever likely they didn’t want to go, when you watch this. They weren’t even there to defend themselves. Producers kept dropping seeds, some of the girls were jumping to say stuff , and the moms. It just goes to show behind the scenes, the zieglers didn’t have an easy time and are targets.

Oh my god these producers are evil. The way they are speaking is extremally manipulative but to be completely honest, this is what I expected from them and the girls definitely should have as well! Well Maddie and Mackenzie for sure, with Nia we are not 100% certain. This was filmed in November, a time when final exams for universities and colleges happen and a lot of people say she could not attend filming because of those exams, yet she attended Paige’s party. But even if Nia could have, the producers and Abby were racist towards her. I would not blame Nia if that was the case, but as far as I know, she has not commented.

Maddie has given credit to the show but at some point she has moved on from that and has done some incredible things on her own that have nothing to do with DM. She is a beautiful and talented girl that would be where she is today regardless of that show. The show just gave her a boost and she capitalized on it as anyone in her position should and no one should begrudge her of that. She has the career she has because of her work ethic and determination, not solely because of DM so give her some credit where it is due. The show brought her to the forefront sooner but I feel that she would have gotten there on her own eventually without it. There is no mistaking her talent and to deny that is a pity and just plain callous on your part. She deserves to be treated fairly and objectively and not have it tinged with whatever remnants of Abby’s words that linger in the ether because of her bitterness over her and her sister leaving the ALDC.

The Ziegler sisters & Nia definitely made the right decision of not coming back to toxicity . I feel sorry for the trauma ALL these girls went through and the lasting effect it followed them into adulthood….but coming back to a reunion just to prove how grateful you are doesn’t equate to closure to this period of your life. The girls/moms that attended should respect that everyone is different and their time on the show was a different experience for each of them so they should not dictate how one should act or respond. The girls that didn’t attend the reunion have every right to not participate just like that those who did attend have every right to speak on their own behalf. The Zieglers & Nia do not owe anyone an explanation of their absence. I think it is in poor taste that some of these girls & Moms continue the toxic drama by making assumptions and statements that these girls owe everything to Dance Moms. Yes, the show catapulted their careers, but it is their own hard work that brought them success.
Honestly, looking back at these clips…the emotional and verbal abuse they went through is absolutely sickening! I blame each Mom that allowed their child to partake in the show & Abby for the sake of fame. The emotional baggage these girls carry and the obvious hate/jealousy some of them have for Maddie and those that have clearly moved on just proves that the drama just recycled with them as adults.
I’m pretty sure the Zieglers closed that door the day they left, that was all the closure they needed. It should be respected, it doesn’t mean they aren’t grateful, whenever they are asked about the show they do always say they are grateful, they don’t need to come to a reunion to prove that. Especially going back to these producers? Look at how they are being treated when they aren’t even there to defend themselves. They made the right choice in my opinion.

The Zieglers didn't attend because they literally supported Abby and would have looked like fools if they attended. They already got the attention. Maddie is still seen as the star of the show and Mackenzie is very loved. Melissa and Abby's plan worked.

Watching the reunion opens my eyes. Yes, you can blame Abby and the producers, but you also have to hold the moms accountable as well. I understand there was a contract, however, contracts do end, and it ups to them to renew it. They always talk about the yearly contract, and they still continue to sign it even after everything their kids been through. I understand getting fame and making sure your child has the success they have but as a mother you have to understand when enough is enough. Also, seeing how Kendall, Jojo, Kelani, Christi, Kira, Jess, and Jill talk about Maddie is honestly just disgusting. Yet, they wonder when she isn't there. Yes, I also understand Nia and Kenzi isn't there but the way they were talking, you would've thought you were only missing Maddie cause that's all they every brought up. When are people going to wake up and realise Maddie was the victim of the producers, she was Abby’s favourite but the producers did and still do try and make her look bad. Surely people can wake up and see this now? This reunion really isn’t showing alot of the present ones in a good light, and just makes you feel for the ones that didn’t go. Brooke and Paige are so sweet and they are so close to Melissa and the Zieglers. That’s why they had a party, and they probably wanted to show the girls them not going the reunion isn’t anything personal to them. The producers planting that seed asking if there was a ulterior motive is awful, and Christi has always been bitter, people need to see that, she wasn’t always just sticking up for her kid, yes sometimes she was and had every right, but sometimes she just gunned for them out of spite and jealousy. Years later and shes still trying to make them look bad? They aren’t even there to defend themselves. A lot of the reunion seemed really passive aggressive towards the zieglers, I think this tells us a lot about their experience behind the scenes on the show, and how they tried painting them out to be on show. The commentary from some of the girls and moms throughout just made me feel bad for them, it’s ever likely they didn’t want to go.
To be honest, I think everyone was or is a victim of the producers at one point... even dare I say it, Abby . I said before on another video if watching dance, moms teaches you one thing it is whenever a contract is involved, make sure you read it.

Maddie had all the support from abby but little from anyone else, even the fandom. Abby was god awful to Chloe, but the producers loved Chloe, and so did the fans. The way the producers have even tried to show Maddie and her family in a bad light now all these years later just proves they always did this. As well as abby using her to get at all the girls back then, but she was just a kid that got caught in that cross fire being used and obsessed over by her teacher. All the other girls see Maddie as the girl who they were compared and treated awful to, because of abby. That’s why I think there is clear bitterness with some of them and their moms. The Zieglers weren’t even there to defend themselves that’s what’s more sad, but the first question production asked when they sat down was about the Zieglers not being there.
I love Christi, she was my fave but why couldn’t Melissa just have wanted to have a reunion since everyone was in town? They weren’t going so it made sense to see them outside of that. I don’t like how people are still painting Melissa as sneaky over something she did YEARS ago…

Kelly looks amazing…everyone does actually. I’ve rewatched some of the old episodes recently and have a different perspective on the show than I did when I first watched it. I saw the episode where Abby cries to Maddie because she was upset Maddie stayed with the moms and other dancers in the parking lot instead of coming into the studio. (I don’t remember why) Abby putting that responsibility on a child was toxic. Then I realized why Maddie was the favorite. Maddie and her mom did not have the relationship Chloe and her mother did. I think Abby saw Maddie as her own, which became more evident as the show went on. When the Zieglers left, Abby said something about giving up the studio and continuing to work or be with Maddie. (Exactly what every young girl wants from a mother or a dance teacher in this case). I think she wanted them to have the relationship she and her own mother had. It’s sad how it all turned out for everyone. Chloe did not deserve the treatment she received. I am happy that she and the other girls have become smart and well-spoken young women.
I think this just proves that Maddie was the entire show.
