I don’t care what people say this is my dream car
lol who cares what people think. buying this car will bring you peace.
Let’s make the dream come true. I work at a Toyota dealership in WI and have one TRD available. Interested?
I almost bought it but then Elantra N came out, I bought Elantra N !😂
What color?
F people- they're the worst
When will they Redesign the interior like there competitors, I would totally buy this car if they at least gave us a better center console design and a digital gauge cluster
I didn't know about the storage space by the gear shift.😮 I had the car for 4 months now.
No awd option with a v6. Huge miss.
It would have made the camry trd like 45k just like subaru's
This car is so badly hamstrung by the lack of AWD. Really the only FWD car that successfully pulls off “sports car” with FWD is the Type R. In this configuration the Camry TRD is cool, but all things considered just a nicer version of the K5 GT.
With a few months of driving and learning the car you can get going without any wheelspin. Most people aren’t used to it after the first drive.
The GT is nicer, more powerful, looks better, and has a better warranty
Although the TRD should have better engine noise
@@johnshukeireh5804 I believe you, but where I live snow or rain are on the roads 50% of the time. I don’t want a “sporty” daily driver that’s losing stoplight races half the year so FWD is a no-go. Also, besides difficult perfect launches FWD feels like poop on curvy roads, really it feels like poop on all roads but you notice it the most in the turns.
Like I said the TRD is almost a best in class sporty sedan, that lack of AWD is going to hold it back!
The complaint about a lack of AWD applies to all the sporty family sedans. The Camry TRD gets gapped by everything in the segment. IDK how it can be best in class when it's slower and less sporty than everything.
A manual option would be nice
You can't say that enough
So my question is, is that?Should I buy a camry or should I buy a crown for my first legit car? Is anybody have any good advice On what should I do.
Ben Hardy-slow down your delivery especially at the beginning of your videos. Good information though.
I was thinking the same thing. It makes it seem like he snuck onto the car lot, trying to film the car before security asked him to leave.
It's the slowest of all the economy sport sedan offerings lol.
I sell Toyota's. The V6 Camry is amazing.
Needs fog lights, bigger entertainment screen, switch out red gauge otherwise it's a No Sell, Thumb Down!😢😢
Audi RS5 is better in my opinion
Damn still no full digital gauge cluster
Still no sunroof
Still that ugly outdated touchscreen media center
I have the 2020 Camry TRD Red,,I frigging still love it like the first day I bought it. Constantly getting compliments on it.
I own a 24 Camry. The resolution on the 7” screen is garbage. My biggest complaint is a V6 without an option for AWD.
The screen resolution has always been my gripe with camrys, it's inexcusable in this day and age imo
Wait you don’t have awd? Do you have an LE or XLE? I woulda spent a little more for the awd cause the other trims have it
Just a really expensive appearance package. The least they could have done was throw a 6 speed manual in it
I just picked mine up two weeks ago. I went with the two tone white with the black roof. I absolutely love this car. Gets tons of looks on the road too.
I got the xse v6 pearl white black top. ya i thought i seen peeps eye ballin it!
It’s so good, I got mine yesterday. Such a smooth ride
ive always like seeing these ride by on the road. beautiful car.
They never looked at mine
Did you pay full price or financed it? I asked because I was looking to drop 5k down on one just trying to see what the notes is ..
Great car, good reliability and a good review always Ben.
Great car lmao
I used to like the 2.0 turbo Accord over the Camry but nowadays I'm thinking is Camry looks better & BETTER. They look so clean in person!
2023 accord is so ugly I can't even justify it
plus the camry is n/a and more durable than the honda accord turbo cars.
My man is dedicated! Bring us reviews in the rain 🔥
😂
TRD pricing starts at $33,200 and XLE starts at $36,000 surprisingly. Not a big fan of all black rather have silver with alloy wheels but is def a nice car. 301 hp plenty of power used to have a V6 Impala and V6 300S with same HP and was plenty of power.
And you get none of the design flaws that the horrible GM 3.6L has.
I’ve had mine for almost a year now. I love it, the perfect mix of comfort, style, and sport. I get a lot of compliments and have raced a few people lol.
Just got my xse about 2 months ago, im loving it thinking about getting that borla exhaust set up 💯😤
Honestly, I was in the market for a full size truck, preferably a Ram, but man I’m honestly leaning to this or a midsize truck such as the new Tacoma, fits my needs more.
I used to want a full size after I sold my Sierra but over the last year I fell in love w the Tacoma. Plus the new one looks super good
@@SupersetDiego couldn’t agree with you more, I love the look of the new Tacoma!!
that new tacoma looks amazing!
Whey did they name a car “terd” that makes me laugh every time I see one on the road
Test drove a SE today. May pick it up next week.
The boy racer rear wing looks awful
Love my 2011 XLE Camry V6. Sits in the garage polished. White in color, with black wheels. Super Sleeper Dad car. :-)
This is the Ben Hardy I am use to. Professional looking and sounding. In the cold 🥶 and the rain doing his job...his passion...
This is a grandpa car with a type r wing
Good morning everyone where I'm at it's 730a💯💯m but need The ben to start the day
Love my XSE, might have to upgrade to this TRD. This is basically a lexus IS 350 without the badging.
I've had zero issues with the V6 which has plenty of power for a car.
The XSE comes with more interior comfort options, which aren't available on the TRD and the XSE has the very same engine, drivetrain and suspension. The only thing missing is the more aggressive TRD styling.
@donmorris4285 after my comment i thought about it and realized my XSE has dual climate control, sunroof, lumbar support, and probably a few more comfort options that the TRD doesn't have, no need to upgrade after all. 😊
I love my wife's 2021 XSE. It's very comfortable and to use a NASCAR term, it's got a lot of giddy up.
IS 350 is a much smaller car, but it's rear wheel biased all wheel drive
I have a TRD white and black top. Brand new just arrived on the lot. I work at a dealership in WI. Are you interested? Where are you located?
I am the biggest fan of TRD. Just one thing that dissapoints me is there is no AWD option in TRD
Big fan of yours from Bangladesh
Awesome car, that will run forever…that folks is the reason they can’t keep them on the lots… all Camrys but specially the TRD trims bring huge money at auto auctions if you can find one… money well invested
The interior looks pretty outdated compared to the 2024 Sonata N.
As usual for toyota lazy beast relying simple on their reliability 😪
I just got this car 2024 I am in love
The Camry TRD is one of Toyota's most epic misses. It looks awesome, but mechanically, it offers nothing beyond what you can get in an XSE, SE or XLE. The few features that do make it stand out from the other Camry's are minimal and irrelevant. If Toyota wanted to hit this one out of the ballpark, they could have equipped it with a turbo engine, 6 speed manual as an option, and make it AWD. "TRD" stands for Toyota Racing Developement, not Timid Repro-Duction. The TRD should be a high performance vehicle, fit for racing enthusiasts.
The Accord 2.0T is more of a race car than the Camry TRD. Do yourself a favor and buy an old Toyota with 150k miles or something. Keep it maintained for daily driving. Then save up and buy a real sports car where you don't have to worry about its reliability as much. Trying to tick all the boxes is just creating compromises.
Great review, thanks for sharing. The rain wouldn't stop me from reviewing this car either! Love everything about this car, especially the price. If they had a trim with less flashy exterior, it would be an immediate buy for me. I feel too old to be driving a car that looks like that lol.
They have the xle and xse trims with the v6 which still have the same power but look less flashy.
Change the oil every 5000 miles, and it’ll last you for years!
I know it's probably to keep cost down but I think it's weird that for a brand new car at what is a top trim it doesn't come with digital dash
Digital dashes are cheaper
That was for the Avalon, although Avalons are discontinued
Digital dash is cheaper and way uglier.
I would take that spoiler off so fast
hey ben!! what are the differences between the 23 and 24 TRD that you noticed?
Great video i really the Camry forever 💪🏻
It’s just a Camry with an appearance package. Nothing about it would constitute race car. Give it 350 HP and AWD and you could call it a sport sedan.
It’s not just appearance have you seen the suspension setup and brakes ?
I want this car so bad. Street Racers would want to challenge you lol
Like this car but trd needs to be relooked at because its an easy target to call it a camry turd
As an adult this is officially my dream car. I've always wanted a Tesla or Ford focus rs. Maybe the Nissan z nismo I'd have a hard time picking. But nothing compares to this.
This thing solos all of em.
@@JaredGonzales-gv9yh yeah but the new GR Corolla is probably my go to at this point basically around the same price
@@username-xo1ps just be careful as I hear they've been catching fire and toyota hasn't covered them
@@JaredGonzales-gv9yh oh word I didn't know that might sit on that on that for a while. Also don't have the funds to really go out and one anyways lol
@@username-xo1ps oh same lol.
Nice review Ben! Thanks for showing it off.
I’m definitely too old for this car but I don’t care. I want one. This could be my mid life crisis car. 😂
I have one and am on the older side. Love love love this car. It’s fast and reliable. It’s my midlife crisis car. Stella gets TONS of compliments.
FWD, no turbo, and those couch cushion seats. I don't think so.
There wont be a 2025 Toyota Camry TRD so buy them in 2024
Versace a cool looking car Toyota steering wheel always look lame
IM so mad it doesn’t have a sunroof
Just got mine a couple of days ago in the underground color and I instantly fell in love 😍
How much did u pay for it?
@@kimbberry got it for 35
@@Soccerbeast17 what state?
@@kimbberry Cali baby
@@Soccerbeast17 dang how u do that they asking 42 out the door
It's the coolest I have this car....
I’m so ready to trade my car in for one of these. They’ve caught my attention from the beginning. It’s absolutely beautiful
Looks nice only thing i dont like is the spoiler
Ben, your racing cadence of speech is troubling. In the '80's I would speak to people high on cocaine that spoke slower. Do you know why you do that? Just curious. I like your vids and I want to understand your narration, but man it's difficult sometimes. Maybe the coffee.
After getting married and had kids, I bought a 1999 Toyota Camry TRD manual shift black Molly design. I like it so much as a daily driver that I put in 407k miles on it. I stop driving it about 3 years ago when the shop told me stop driving that car as any repair is going to cost more than the car itself! The car I drive prior to this TRD was the Porsche Carrera!
Got a 2024 Toyota Corolla hatchback se upgrade and it’s great and all it’s just not my cup of tea speed wise and sound wise. This is what I’m planning on trading it in for when I have it paid off. Going to be excited until that day.
Not much different from xse except a little red
Car looks really nice except that oversized dumb looking rear spoiler! Toyota should've made that spoiler narrower or something lol! Spoiler just looks too gimmicky/aftermarket looking!
Es lo mismo de siempre 🤷no le veo grandes cambio. Sige igual desde el primer año que salió, para comenzar el motor sigue siendo igual ,an cambiado en colores y unos mínimos detalles
Toyota can you hear me? I gave this a thumbs down not for the guy giving the review but for the stupid 301 hp .-(STILL) What the Hells a matter with you. They should have a minimum at least 350 horse. Then we can start talking!
Camry TRD is a old looking car. No memory seats, old looking gauges cluster. Infotainments look like they came from the 2015 time frame. $34k if that is what is really is then maybe it's a good deal. Not a fan of the red seat belts, but like the red trim. Why Toyota didn't put a 10 speed in this TRD is beyond me. The 10 speed would get you better MPG and faster acceleration speeds. Still a very dated look with less bells and whistles then other manufactures. Cannot wait to see what the next gen XV80 or 2025 Camry. So far the 2025 Camry looks like a 10th gen Accord, which I own. The big question for me is will they put a i-MAX engine in the new Camry, that would be game changer. I could see a 437 HP Camry TRD that gets 35 MPG, slap the 10 speed with AWD from the Lexus IS call it a day. Won't happen, but one can dream.
The lack of interior lighting, heated seats and other features that Hyundai has to their end line is definitely felt here.
I'd probably go with the Hyundai N line. This just seems very boring and barebones honestly.
you talk too fast. Can't understand you,
I just wish there was a way to change the interior lighting on the steering wheel and all the buttons from that ugly blue to a red anyone know if that’s possible? That’s the only thing stopping me from buying one.
Single zone climate ?? That's odd my 2021 Rav4 has dual climate control and heating and cool seats. How this Camry TRD doesn't have that ?
Trading in my 2023 gli Jetta for one of these, I hope I’m not gonna regret the decision lol.
Im actually in the market for a trd. But no turbos or remote start. Tires look too small for the car. I know toyota is a more reliable vehicle.
This car is very outdated, and for it still going for this price is robbery. Kia and Hyundai is really killing it rn.
Has a Honda feeling to it
It's a 4 dr sadam w/ a spoiler.joke,joke. Mumble Mumble Mumble
I wish they made it turbo. I had a srt4 before and that thing was bad azz. This is basically a toyota sienna engine that was tuned to make the horsepower it does
Is there any major difference between 2023 and 2024 camry trd?
No, nothing changed between a 2023 and 2024.
I’m trying to find differences between this and my 2020 TRD
I want to buy this!!
Love my 2023 V6 XLE!
My dream car!!!!
my lease for my trailblazer is up in exactly 1 year… i NEED this to be my next car. i’ll keep it literally forever. i had a scion tc before my trailblazer, and i would’ve kept that forever if it didn’t get totaled
I got mine a week and a half ago. The underground grey. It is really a fantastic vehicle. And although I paid well over MSRP, to me I am happy I have it than not. The color looks amazing. I hope to keep this vehicle for at least 8 years. Want to get the most out of this car.
How much did you pay if you don’t mind telling looking to get one at the end of this month
I have a 24 TRD underground and I garage baby that car. Keep yours forever. It’s the last year of V6, TRD Camry and we have the best color!
am i slacking on trd? did this camry just pop when he rev it?
I would see if you can put sport seats you see in super cars in here anyone know?
They make it look sporty, but the 2.0T Malibu leaves it in the dust. Toyota doesn't let you have all that 305hp.
Why Toyota didn’t put the spot seat to the front like Hyundai and Honda.
All of that money for that lack luster back seating area? No rear A/C, rear charging, hearting/cooling? I’m glad its AWD, but this is kind of disappointing.
TRD doesn’t come with AWD 😢
Is there any difference between this the 2023 and 2024 one ? Seems exactly the same
Thank god a reviewer who doesnt talk as slow as a sloth 🎉 and u get too the point thank u
You could have thrown a small turbo in that easy?
Such a good angle of filming cars .. keep up i like your filming and explanation ❤
It needs to be outfitted with a manual trans.
what is the exact everything in this it’s beautiful
So now I got 4 vehicles to chose from this, Honda Accord Hybrid sport, Toyota Rav4 Xse or TRD and last but not lease the Honda CRV Hybrid L Sport. Help me choose somebody 😩😅😁🙏🏾
Definitely the TRD. This is why. It actually drives, looks and feels like a sports car d/t the suspension and the rear bracing. It corners well and plants itself to the road, you get the sports car look and experience with Toyota reliability. I have a black one. Best car I’ve ever had.
@keenamcdaniel6646 yesss I see that bro. Not to mention I saw this in person when I came from the women's hospital with my pregnant wife and I saw it from the side and I didn't know it was a Camry TRD. It looked damn near like a BMW and I caught the back of it and I was like this is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 It's either going to be this TRD or a Rav4 TRD! Thank you for the help there bro. 🫡🫡🫡🧢🧢🧢
No upgraded interior? 🤦🏻♂️
Where are you at where I live these start at 36k
By the time I own one of theses I'll be dead
I was going to purchase this but not with the dealer $5-7k markup. Decided to purchase the K5 GT for $33k. More options and better price.
And more junk
why are you doing a car review on a rainy day?
So basiythe same car its been the last four years. Toyota is really missing a great opportunity with this car. It still looks completely outdated in the interior. Still comes off as an old persons car. Mid life crisis in full effect. I like how it looks but theres soich more they could do with it.
What does basiythe even mean? Did you have a stroke while commenting? 😂
Also what does soich mean?
I just love this car have i a 2018 se been having for a couple years and the smooth driving, reliability, and aesthetic in my are just amazing once it gets old I plan on getting a TRD of the year ❤
Unfortunately, the Toyota Camry TRD model is ending, and the 2024 model is the last Toyota Camry TRD V6. In 2025 there won't be a TRD version or the classic 3.5 liter V6
