Yes!! Another banger off my personal favorite Zeppelin album! A 4-sided album that begins with a bang! Side A is "Custard Pie," "The Rover," And "In My Time of Dying!" Perfection! ✌🤟
"How can you have so many bangers?" "Oh bacause we great!" In all of the Led Zeppelin reaction videos I've watched, and believe me I've watched millions, that has to be one of the two best two sentence combos in all of the reactions LMAO
The Rover is such an excellent deep cut from Zep…one of dozens never played on FM radio. This tune is yet another example of the perfection that Zeppelin was…and forever will be.
I spent the entire summer of '75 devoting my full attention to this album. At home, in the car, at the beach...swinging in a hammock between 2 apple trees in Canada's Okanagan Valley whilst getting baked in the Sun. A glorious time to be a teenager, growing up with Led Zeppelin since the summer of '69 when I was only Seven! Physical Graffiti is my favourite double-album of all time. IN MY TIME OF DYING, is on every Zepp Fans Funereal Playlist. 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦
Think about this, they wrote and recorded this song around 1972-1973? Still blows my mind. (Ive been to London, I've seen the seven wonders, I always knew to trip was too far, sometimes I bonged it, sometimes I rolled it, I always knew what it was for!!!) All Hail the Mighty Led Zep!!!!! Thank you Jamal!✌️
True, to me no Zeppelin is underrated, maybe underappreciated by the people who don't know LED Zeppelin, but it seems like when people start listening to them they all start appreciating them.
At 3:52 when the riff changes before the lyric "And the wind is crying, from a love that won't grow cold".....creates a mood which is woven into human DNA.
This is absolutely my favorite Led Zeppelin song, with my favorite of Jimmy Page's solos and it is definitely underrated. I didn't hear it on the radio, my first exposure was having a jam session with friends and Joe, the drummer started playing the intro drum riff to this song, then one of the other guitarists started playing that guitar riff and I was dumbfounded.. and hooked. There's a line "my lover she is lying" that hits home with me as I'd met a woman from Poland at work and we started dating, then she had to go back and Poland is almost literally "the dark side of the globe" from my home in Oregon. If I ever met Robert Plant I'd love to ask if "And the wind is crying, from a love that won't grow cold" is a nod to "The Wind Cries Mary"
You got your rappers, your poppers, your bluesers.......then you got your Zeppers. Welcome to the club. Zeppelin and its members killin it since 1968. Lawdy.....Jamel done got BIT yall! Whhhoooooooo......
A MAJOR badass song, one of my top 10. Hell, half of my favorite Zep songs come from this, their best album: Custard Pie, Trampled Under Foot, Kashmir, The Wanton Song, Boogie With Stu. As a guitarist, these were the first songs I loved and learned from the album.
All right hear me out: I’ve been on the Steely Dan train for the past few months and probably never getting of o there. There’s that one song, ‚Gaucho‘ from their 1980 album with the same title, and it’s just amazing. I beg you, you make amazing reviews full of honesty and appreciation for these old songs, you absolutely must have a listen to this one, and I’m tellin you, I ain’t stopping till you see this ! (Edit: I’ve found your channel a few days ago and like you’re the ONLY one reviewing steely Dan, with that type of honesty and not begging for patreon like these others tubers. I'd say under rated. I've been a fan of Zeppelin for 20 years and I just heard it for the first time yesterday. Was blown away that it never plays on the radio. And yes, obviously if I was a huge fan I would've dug deeper in the catalog and listened to it by now, but as much as I like them I haven't felt the need to check everything they did out yet. Nice that this gem was waiting for me.
It took me forever to find this song. It wasn't on the greatest hits. My brother in law was huge fan of Led, and didn't know it. I caught it once on late night radio while driving, and spent years searching for it. Thank you internet.

The further you go down the rabbit hole with Zeppelin you really get to appreciate the fact that they loved playing together.
Zeppelin filmed the entire Seattle Kingdome show on 7-17-77.
That entire show (3 1/2 hours) is on RUclips !
The second song they played was PART of "The Rover", then went into "Sick Again".
Of course I had my arms over the front wall. Was a glorious show. ;-)
“Another nasty one.” What else needs to be said? 😄🔥🔥
Been waiting for this one!!💕
No words to describe the greatness of this song.
It’s heartwarming to see someone discovering Led Zeppline!!
I haven't even started watching yet... But "Oh Lawd!" I know you're gonna love this!! 🤯😎
I used to sing the solo in the car, my then young daughter laughed at me, but hey she grew up to be a great flutist and has a great ear for music. Loved your comment "how can we have so many bangers, oh yeah we great" peace brother ✌
To me one of there best. Thank for recognizing. To me top 5 led songs
“..cause we great...” There is that❤️
Hey Jamel I love Zep, but can you revisit your old friends Deep Purple again. Specifically "Space Truckin" and "Woman From Tokyo". Thanks for considering. Have a nice weekend!
Pictures of Home
YYEEESSS, Let's Go Space Truckin! great tune!!!
Zeppelin has great B sides the rolling stones as well Well keep doing your thing and Keep great music alive 👍💀⚡🌹✌💨💨
EVERYONE loves to "air guitar" to that solo!
LOVE LED ZEPPELIN THANKS FOR THE FANTASTIC MUSIC
How can one band be so good? Greatest rock band in history
and beatles, for me.
Huge Zeppelin fan. One of my all-time favorite albums - perfection! Bonzo was awesome.
Off the top of my head … please consider adding Yes, Scorpions, The Yardbirds, Free, Bad Company, The Kinks (Lola), Blue Oyster Cult (Godzilla), Marvin Gaye, Al Green, and Stevie Wonder, among others, to your repertoire.
Yes!! Another banger off my personal favorite Zeppelin album! A 4-sided album that begins with a bang! Side A is "Custard Pie," "The Rover," And "In My Time of Dying!" Perfection! ✌🤟
Yes! This is their most underated song. Straight out banger!
Am I the onlyone who loves the song "Houses of the Holy"? I haven't seen anyone else request it.
You're right!! Another great song off of - surprisingly - *Physical Graffiti.* 😊
I like the confusing aspect of which album is it on. The real zep heads know.
I told your momma i'ld get you home, but I didn't say that I had no car.
Nope, you’re definitely not the only one! Non-Zep superfans might not be able to find it lol if they’re looking on the HOTH album
"How can you have so many bangers?"
"Oh bacause we great!"
In all of the Led Zeppelin reaction videos I've watched, and believe me I've watched millions, that has to be one of the two best two sentence combos in all of the reactions LMAO
One of their top 3 songs ever. Great reaction.
My favorite Zep song... Since the 70's.
Another lost banger from Zep is Hots On For Nowhere off their Presence album. Guaranteed.
That entire album is sick.
The only Zep song that I can't stand! 😂
The Song Remains the Same.
Best live album ever.
This song and When the levee breaks are my favorite LZ songs.
The Rover is such an excellent deep cut from Zep…one of dozens never played on FM radio. This tune is yet another example of the perfection that Zeppelin was…and forever will be.
I spent the entire summer of '75 devoting my full attention to this
album. 🇨🇦🍁🇨🇦
Very underrated song from them.
Sorry but IMO this right here is the greatest band, when a song like this gets so overlooked is a shame Zeppelin is (GOAT)
Led Zeppelin - D'yer Maker!
I don't know about underrated, this is one of my favorite LZ songs. Then again, they have such an amazing catalog my list of favorites is a long one.
True, to me no Zeppelin is underrated, maybe underappreciated by the people who don't know LED Zeppelin, but it seems like when people start listening to them they all start appreciating them.
Yeah it's like "This is one of my favorites"... along with 99% of their songs...
Jamel...Houses of the Holy, next please!
“How can you have so many bangers? Oh because we great.” That’s is a statement of truth. Led Zep set the bar for the rest to follow.
My favorite song ever created 🕊✨❤️
Hey, man! Please do ‘Gallows Pole’!!!
Underrated? No. This song has sat at the top of the charts for approximately 1,250 weeks (and counting) in my car.
I think when people say underrated they mean underrated by other people.
"Another Nasty One" Yep. That's one of the greatest albums of all time.
And one of the best songs
This whole album is a banger. Have a Blessed Day Brother Jamel.
"How can you have so many bangers? Oh, because we great." Perfectly said Jamel.
AC/DC is another one of them Rock bands that has so many great hits that most people has never even heard, as the radio only plays a handful of them.
This song kicks ass! \m/
Please check out some Robert Plant after Led Zeppelin - Tall Cool One - Heaven knows - 29 Palms - Big Log - Ship of Fools - Sea of Love - In the Mood
Keep on the good work !)
@@elysehfm8797 that ain’t the matter, what’s the point here is that he should review some more steely Dan ;)
@@elysehfm8797 yeah I know, it’s amazing that he reviewed so many of them already, buuuut a few key ones are missing !
