With those Jimmy Page power riffs this is metal! Zeppelin pretty much invented metal! All the way from their album on Dazed and confused at around the 3 minute mark Zeppelin gave birth to metal! That album also had a proto punk song Communication Breakdown! And on the next Zeppelin album Zeppelin did power metal song my favorite Achilles last stand which inspired Steve Harris from Iron Maiden their galloping signature in a lot of their songs!
You jammed the whole album almost!!!!???? Awesome. That's how we ALL evolve man. Also to me Kashmir though heavy, it sucks. Achilles last stand was probably greatest band achievement. And mostly overlooked except to actual musicians.
Here's a fact, this song didn't make it on Led Zep 4, fuck me!!! They never,never, never played this song live until(yes its on physical graffiti) ,,,, Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes live at the Greek!!! I used to bong it, I sometimes rolledl it, I always knew what its for!!!! And think about the verse b4, I knew 2 trip was 2 far!!!!, wondering what they were talking about!!!✌️✌️✌️
