LAFD House Fire: Station 57 (South LA)

At 2130 hrs., Los Angeles Fire Department Battalion 13 companies were dispatched to a reported structure fire in 57’s first-in on the 800 block of W. 76th St.
Units assigned: Battalion 11 (canceled), Battalion 13, Task Force 33, Task Force 66, Engine 46, Rescue 57, Rescue 257, & Rescue 857.
TF33 was first on scene of a single-story single-family dwelling with fire showing to the rear. E33 was fire attack with backup from E46 (both working under LF66 as Division A), LF33 went to the roof for vertical ventilation, E66 was assigned exposures (all clear), then RIC. RA257 was assigned ladders and utilities, RA57 was medical, and BC13 was 76th Street IC.
Companies reported fire in 2 rooms that extended into the attic. Knockdown was called at 2149 hrs. Unknown cause, no injuries. TF33, E46, & RA857 handled overhaul.
