Great trick
Cool video! Is it also possible to mix vocal tracks to a wav-audio track where all the instruments are already bounced?
You could if you really wanted to... Just mix the vocals and then EQ out the frequencies for the instruments and boost others... On the instrument chain, do the opposite... It should sound half decent...
@@videosbyadhi Thanks!
Great video. I watched this video several times. I still need your help. I’m working on my first cover song. I recorded lead vocals a week ago (Vox A). First verse needed a little improvement so I re-recorded it today (VoxB). I'm using Izotope Music Production Suite Pro plugins. They are working well. Problem: Vox A and Vox B have different tonal and timbre qualities, so the plugins are creating different processing chains (very similar but with differences). When playing the 2 vocal recordings in the mix you can hear a slight difference. I’ve tried setting the same plugins/ presets in the same order on both tracks. That has brought the 2 recordings very close but not 100%. Any tips, tricks or vocal production suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Cheers!!
Hey! Thanks for reaching out! You can get the voices to sound similar like you mentioned but getting them to sound completely identical likely won't happen. Singers voices and vocal qualities can change from day to day or even after a long recording session. This means your voice will sound a tad different. But that can be totally fine! As long as your voice doesn't sound different enough that it distracts the listener from the song, you should be good to go. Unfortunately, there's no plugin or processing tip I can give that will fix that timbre, there will always be slight sonic differences. It's best to get it right in the recording stage.
@@Music-By-Mattie Thanks for responding. Yes, I've been told that the vocals all need to be done on the same day/ session. No worries. I've also been told that the best thing to do is re-record the vocals. That what I did. All I have to do now is re-apply any FX I had on the background, adlib and harmonies like I did in the first session, mix and then master the project. Thanks for all your help. It's greatly appreciated. 👋Keep the great videos coming. I'm learning a great deal from you. 👍BTW, I think you have a great voice and a great singer. Cheers!!
Great content! What about using soothe2?
Too much processing
It's a pop song
