i cant import this onto ableton... it says "only audio effects can be placed in this kind of track"

Hi! I am a high school teacher, I want to use launchpad to record my voice with a few effects (very few), and give students commands like: Be silent!, Seat down, Open your chromebooks, attention to the attendance... etc.. also i want to allow a designated button to my NINJA students... (that means the best students..) I have NOOOOOO IDEIA how to set all that up! I did record my voice but there are some weird effects that i dont want. and no idea on how to record on the designated keys on the launchpad HELLLPPP! please!!!! HAHAHA

This specific rack won’t work in versions prior to 11. I made a video explaining why and how to make something just like this rack in any version of live prior to 11

is there a dry/wet knob for these effects?
On many of the effects in this rack, the knob you are adjusting is the dry/wet knob of each individual effect.
However, if you would like more control over this, you can open up the rack with the “show/hide” devices list and open each individual effect to control the dry wet.

Is this gonna work in older versions of live
This rack will only work in 11 and above. However, I just made a video about how to make your own racks in Ableton Live 10 and below! If you watch both vids, You can create just about the same effect I made here in 11, but in 10 🙂

I have ableton 11 lite, can I use it in it?
Hello, this version will not work with Live 11 Lite because some of the effects are limited to standard/suite.
However, I have made an adapted version for live lite after a few people asked me this question! (its a little different because of the limitations).

Will this plugin work with other daws?
Hey there! Unfortunately no it will not work in other daws, as Ableton's effect racks are not a common plugin file type (.adg file) and they are also very specific to how Ableton works as a daw. You could definitely recreate something very similar to this in another daw, let me know if you'd like to see a video like this! What daw do you use?

@@dhbe Very interesting. If you can make effects racks in Premiere or in Audacity then you can accomplish exactly what I did in this vid. Good luck and let me know how it goes!
Will this work in ableton 11.1 ??
It was built in 11.2, but should be compatible with 11.1!
@@DanMess Everytime I double click it, it doesn't open in ableton. Also I'm on mac could that possibly been an issue also?
@@E-manism sorry to hear it isn’t working. Have you tried dragging it onto a track in an active session?
If that doesn’t work, 11.2 is a free update in case you’d want to update the software
