Tbf, that’s the worst they had on their laptop. Idk how long you’ve been producing for or if at all, but in a few years you’re not gonna have the “first steps” on your laptop anymore. Practice makes perfect man 🙏

They all take it in stride, I wouldn’t be able to look at the camera
They all humble kings
I love how humble these producers are, showing their worst beats takes courage. I wish somebody would've told me when I started just how important it is to select good sounds and samples in the beginning of making a beat. If you pick bad ones, you end up with a bad beat. That's exactly why I recommend platforms like Splice or Prodsounds kits, even though Splice does't always have what I want haha
no
#ad
Actually it is the opposite. The better the producer the wiser they are to know how to sculpt and fit just about any sound into their song creatively.

the last two beats were so garbage that it truly bordered on inspirational. I genuinely feel like I got more motivation from hearing something that terrible than I could have from any TED talk or shitty uplifting instagram post. And I say that with the upmost level of love and respect.
I always make some fire loop or melody and then when I make it an actual beat it sounds so shit 💀💀💀

@@gusfringonlyfans same
it always feels good to see how bad the greats once were. it lets us know, we have to start from somewhere
@gusfringonlyfans try removing elements. less is more. keep going back to whatever iteration you enjoyed the most. If there isn't one, maybe it isn't the right time. Just store away that loop and maybe one day it'll make sense.

2:43-2:45 man that "OOHHH" is killing me right there HAHAHAHA 😂😂😂😂 just didn't expect that one 😂😂
Everyone knows that OOHHH too, I absolutely cackled so much during this whole video.
The last guy started out with a song made purely out of one single Autogun glass preset and the default 808 kick from FL Studio, mad respect to him 🤣🤣🤣
I could perfectly recreate that one in FL after hearing it once lmao
What an entertaining concept to have producers play their worst beats 😂
6:46 bro pulled up with the us national anthem type beat
You should do a follow up where you guys take each others' worst beat and see how you can improve it while still keeping the original's essence
That’s a good idea
Yessss
I've always wanted to try and remix my first beat (it was ass lol) would definitely watch that

Hats off to Zippy bro. People like this guy are truly such an inspiration man. Imagine the amount of progress this guy had to accomplish.

It’s a reflex at this point
@@ServidaMusic on god
You just *have* to bop
The striped pants guy tried but couldn't even feel the beat in his own song.
Can't get a feel for the rhythm of I don't do that tbh
If I played my worst beats no one would be laughing, they’d be genuinely uncomfortable
This so wholesome and funny. I love it 😂 helps me not feel bad about the crappy “in between” music I make before I make something I’m proud of. Not every beat you make is gold! Be okay with the crap! It’s part of the creative process!
The second to last producer was definitely waiting his entire life for this moment 😳
Yeah what was that..?! 🤣
I have a suggestion. The game would be one team of producers remake hits while the other team of producers try to guess those hits the producers produced. The point are determined on how well can the producers remake the hit to where the other listener guesses correctly. And the listeners gain point on how many they get right first one to 3 wins. 🤷🏾♂️
Ooooo that would be such a good idea if copyright didn’t exist
@@ServidaMusic That should fall under fair use on RUclips, right?
@@skykrow fair use is for things like ie. news reports, reviews and such and are only snippets. if fair use worked that way you'd see every movie and album bootlegged on youtube (imagine they aren't already), now u know why ppl speed up or slow down or tune audio out of pitch when uploading copyrighted material. even using the artists name w/o permission can get you into trouble if the label so wishes.
hitionary
You could use your hits 🤷🏾♂️
I literally laughed so hard at this 😂
It was inspiring seeing their energy and reactions, because they felt so genuine. Thank you for this it helped me understand that I’m not going to get to my destination right away but it’s the journey I find that will take me there.

entertaining af brings light and shows that every (plat) producere doesnt hit on every track love the content you gained a new fan!
I LOVE content like this, this helps the community greatly. Incredibly inspiring
i was listening to this at work and god some of these made me chuckle out loud. i love the REALLY bad ones so much. also legit expected the second beat's piano to derail into a midi remix of Happy Birthday eventually lmaooo
I'm proud of all these producers, they've come so far! And Simon will go further 😎
It always blows my mind hearing early work of huge producers / rappers and realising they were as bad as me at one point. Props to them for perseverance
This video really helped me. Thank you very much!
This topic definitely resonates with me a lot. Specially when this only started happening after I dug deeper into the whole production process of music. At first it was the mastering and mixing, then it affected my ability to write melodies.... Then it went full circle and eventually beatblock took over and every time I write a melody it just automatically sounds garbage. I have had the most genuine fun making music outside of everything in life but at the same time when it doesn't at least meet your own standards, the negative experiences outweigh the best positive ones. It feels like a rainy sad day is about to arrive sometimes, only to find it out it never ends.
3:30 if anyone is wondering where that vocal is from: Volt & State - Sandcastles
Man that song really throws me back to the old ADE EPs. Golden era of progressive

"Here comes the queen" lol I felt like he was going back in time in his head to the exact thought and feelings that he was going through at the time of the making of said first beat, and he was like "daamn, wtf was I" fucking dope hahaha
Cool to see so many Toronto producers, as I'm trying to follow their footsteps.

7:31 so fire wtf
This is amazing. 2:44 is 🔥🔥🔥
Going back and hearing first beats is always so hilarious. This vid was awesome.
This video tells me that everyone starts somewhere and to keep at it… but it also says my best beats are other peoples worst and to stop trying
man y'all remember the first few months of producing and showing beats to your friends? Like you may have just broken a new barrier or tried a new technique and you wanna show it to ppl but in reality it just sounded like this lmao. "Damn, I mean, it's cool that you made that. It's definitely better than your last beat."
