Damn, what a cool kid. You can tell he's genuinely happy/excited to see Kyle getting the speed running down. Years ago, in my teens, I was quick with the shortcuts in Garageband. Nowhere near this level, and it was more the vocal engineering than beat making, but knowing pretty much every shortcut like it was second nature made everything so much faster and more efficient. I'm still new to FL Studio and getting back into making music for the pure joy of it. I'm hoping I can learn this DAW the same way. Like Rob said, just spend the time experimenting, and eventually, you get there.
For all the people stating this is lacking any real art or skill. What major industry studio wouldn't respect someone with the skills to manipulate a DAW so well. This guy could easily work this skill into working with huge names. It shows a mastery in something most of these haters are honestly probably just envious of and will never achieve in there niche.
yeah its mostly old heads thinking hes selling a bunch of 10 second original beats and not realizing theyre challenges he does to recreate hit songs as fast as possible. thats great marketing and self promotion hes a genius for that, but his skills in making original music vs recreating other peoples songs as fast as possible are two completely different things and i think a lot of people are just too slow to get that. on top of the fact that efficiency is important on the business side of things and hes like one of the most competent people on how to do things in his daw. some people just like to find reasons to be mad.
@dxzzydxm5518 Yeah full disclosure I'm one of those old heads and people through the generations always denigrate the next wave of music as something lesser then their own generations music. Sure some new music is arguably bad. But no matter the Era there was always cookie cutter crap pumped out by the metric ton if a demand was there for it.
@@dB_Cooper_Music exactly and the tools to create being so readily available is honestly a double edged sword. i love that people have the ability to make whatever they want but since it can all be put out so easily theres a lot more of the bad and good both and since not everyone is mozart theres probably gonna be more bad. theres more needles but the haystack is bigger too if that analogy makes sense. i think serj tankian from system of a down said something really interesting where he said music lacks curation now. music was an person culture, artists where talked about and pushed forward by people either deeply rooted in that culture or by people inside of the business. now that everyone has access to it you cant expect every l person who has hearing to make worthy decisions on what deserves to make it. weve sort of existed in a culture where something thats not very good can get some traction with people that have bad taste and then its seen as mathematically popular enough to be pushed into everyone else’s faces. but theres the positive side affect of being able to find a lot more artists than you ever have.
@dxzzydxm5518 Your good your point is worth writing in full. I agree that things are somewhat diluted but also there is so much good stuff out there if your willing to look for it.
Bro I started music back in 2017, just happened to make it back to this channel KYLE BEATZ is one of the reasons I started doing beat making 🙌🏾💯🇨🇦well I’m subscribing and continue to follow
Keyboard shortcuts are MASSIVE when using creative software. Definitely something worth learning if you're trying to be more efficient with your work 👍
Kinda surprised you didn’t have on snap to scale. But also another good tip is to get the Logic 502 gaming mouse or any gaming mouse with a lot of buttons. You can program all the shortcuts there. I have mine setup for channel rack, mixer, duplicating, deleting, undo and redo unlimited, and also the pen tool. Shift D is also clutch after you copy 808 to your kick pattern, then option/alt k to get them all lined up. I just started producing five months ago but always master the software first in my past careers. Efficiency is everything as a creative do you can focus on that and not figuring out the software at the same time
No disrespect to the OG producers, but this is actually a ritual we new producers practice. Since 2012, the FL Studio workflow has been evolving with every project release. We always try to find quicker ways to finish just so we can create more, instead of being stuck on figuring out how to get it done. The Apple Vision Pro is going to take this Speedrun thing to a whole new level.
i don't like the speed run stuff but this guy was dope as hell... i'm a short cut guy so it was cool to learn a couple of new ones... But to be honest, i'm really surprised, shocked even, that kyle didn't know (or acted like he didn't know) some of those short cuts... a lot of them are pretty basic...
could download it, or just snip it from the screen same thing much easier, I was honestly expecting more shortcuts from your cheat sheet, I know the playlist seperation of channels with the Right click + S was not on the cheat sheet XD (edit: thank you for the video i did not mean to come off in a rude way) ! :)
Ima quit 808’s and trap drums. This trend is going to over saturate the current RUclips producer community. Going to start being a producer and start thinking of something that sounds different
I wish Ableton was this fast, but I've read the manual so many times that switching to a foreign DAW would set me back too far for comfort. Patcher could make it worth the DAW hop though 🤔
He aint tell you about CTRL + L, he had you stretching those notes with the mouse. haha But I see you've included it in your cheat sheet, I"m just surprised he aint ever mention it.
download the free cheat sheet of shortcuts 🤫 kylebeats.co/FL-Cheat-Sheet
pls subscribe were almost at 50k on this channel 🙌
doesnt work, gave 2 different emails, recieved nothing, scam.
The secret is dissecting and recreating it all beforehand which takes tons of hours, then doing a speedrun when you already know what to do.
Wow you have some insane brain power bro
@@JaeSwift😂😂😂😂😂😂
Or practice?

His reactions are golden, he gets just as hyped when he sees somebody else do a speedrun

He just admitted he practices the same beat so anyone can do it.
