Seth's beat sounded better. Kyle your beat was good too, but it sounded so stock.. Garage Band is okay on iPhone when you're on a short flight or something. Goes to show you that the right sounds/effects plus knowing your DAW makes a huge difference. Very entertaining video.

GarageBand for iphone is underrated. I make beats on my iphone and ipad using garageband and they are pretty good. Im not at kyle’s level but my beats aren’t that bad.
Of course I mainly record black metal, so “good” production isn’t always the end all be all. But I like to make breakcore and other kinds of electronic music, and I think GarageBand is super user friendly and really versatile for a free DAW. Even on the iPhone, I’m able to do almost anything accept compose midi using virtual sheet, which tends to be a bit easier for me than using the piano roll.
