Give the first one another shot with a beat thats his type. He really did well and was really confident when recording the "making of" he deserves a beat that fits him
@@CBmakesHits I didn't wanna say that I this is my opinion. I didn't think that aswell. But I think he means that it isn't his type of beat so he doesn't feel it that much and enjoys the result that much
Mad respect to all 3. Do a beat that both the n00b and amateur feel comfortable with. Let them spit their verses then tie in the pro for a verse. Call it Progression.
@@abcdefg7878 I see what you’re saying, but I like seeing the real potential in an artist. If the amateur can’t switch up his flow then he is a one trick pony. Push artist out of their comfort zone to see true talent. That goes for all art though not just music.
All of those were dope. The biggest thing I noticed from this is that as we went from noob to pro, we progressively can hear the artist more and more clearly. What they were saying, the story they were telling, and the emotion in their tone all got progressively more digestible as a listener. Great experiment!
bro the amateur's verse was the best imo, his delivery was catchy, even like the "cheat day!" going into the verse is like ear candy that keeps you engaged, and the way he mixed his voice made it unique and stood out to me amongst the other artists.
I’m a professional video editor and I want to say that not only are you an amazing producer, your storytelling and editing are actually insane! I know how long it takes to make something like this. Great work man! Keep it up!👏👏
Biggest difference is the lack of fear, first two artists seemed intimated by the slower melodic part of the best where Matt tackled it head first. They just need to build up that confidence
I love shit like this. Just giving people a chance to show that glimpse of themselves to people they’d never otherwise get noticed by. Love your videos bro, hope to be part of one some day. Never stop😤💪🏼
its all stylistic at some point tho. some musicians have made their entire rap career off double tracks, 42 dugg being the biggest name that pops out. He's running double tracks for literally every song n even tho when u first hear one of his songs its off-putting because youre so USED to mono tracks, I don't think its a bad artistic direction to go in. lol just preference of how you prefer to hear yourself on the mic.
The second guy honestly did really well i think the only thing “stopping” it from really being a banger was the vocal chain/mix. Fix that up and it’s a banger
Dude, they were all so talented though. I love your channel so much Kyle, I don't even rap, all I do is play piano but man I love the collaboration you do with these ARTISTS. Much love to all of them, you did fantastic and Kyle, mix all three of these dudes together on the song. There's your key to making it fire.

All three were great, I love it. And yes it is evident that you can clearly see the difference between experience on all three, but regardless they did awesome!
Something I've never told anyone is I want to start writing lyrics. Never had the courage to pursue it until I started watching your videos. Not looking to produce or rap, its just something I've always wanted to do. Your YT channel got me to start doing exactly that. So thank you for that. Your channel is encouraging and educational.
I absolutely loved getting to hear them explain what they went for and what they did. Also, really cool to hear the difference! I started to get a bit cynical thinking "what even makes a good flow" but you can realllly feel it with mat's version
Props to all 3 guys here. I've seen a few of these vids before, and often the less experienced guys completely miss the mark, or the "pro" dedicates so little time to it that it comes out bad, but all 3 brought some solid hits here. I will say though, the Pro definitely killed it. Despite the fact that he gives out deuchebag vibes, his lyricism was on another level compared to the other two. He did not waste a single verse.
I think the biggest, most easy to notice differences is: - the vocals, mainly the mix and fx - how well the last guy nails the technical skill set on every level (rap wise) Everybody killed it though
I’ve been making music seriously for a year and been watching u from the beginning and I still haven’t gotten a chance, we could make some firreeeee… cmon Kyle
The last four bars of the first guy would make for a pretty fire hook. Matt killed it, but we all knew he would. All were good, but I think the first guy has a lot of potential.
I really liked the last part of the first dude. Use that as a hook for Matt and maybe include a small feature of the 2nd guy cause he had some dope spots as well
