Umair literally just took samples and threw drums over them, thats it
I have no real issue with the concept of throwing drums on a sample, because a lot of amazing beats are just that simple. The two main issues with Umair’s beats are that they WEREN’T simple and every sample is just ripped from popular songs. Like this dude just lives on whosampled starting at what popular producers use and then uses those samples. He’s not being creative (not saying he isn’t creative because idk, but he didn’t show any creativity) and he’s not leaving any space on the track for an artist. He’s just jamming them pack with sounds, which, yeah, sound good, but there’s so much more to production than squeezing as much sounds as you can into a track.
@ I feel like you’re getting unnecessarily attacked in the comments lol I’ve definitely contributed to it by giving my own critique about this style of production (which is clearly good for beat battles because it’s more entertaining than hearing an unfinished song), but I also just want to give you some positive feedback because the beats ARE good. I don’t think we’re knowledgeable about the beat battle scene, so these aren’t the type of beats we’re used to. And it’s one of the reasons you beat Kyle. He didn’t really produce his beats to stand on their own. It’s a just a different style. Producing a track for an artist is different than producing for the music to stand on its own. And you’re, at the very least, amazing at the second style. So congrats on your 10x! I have my own personal opinions about music, but at the end of the day, that’s all it is. You’re definitely a better producer than everyone in these comments with opinions.
Your beats were definitely dope; I definitely understand where the judges were coming from. You are a producer, not a beat maker. Your tracks tells story or album cuts. You leave room for the artist to breath and dope at the same time. That is one thing I had to learn from my days of beat battles. I lost 2 battles back to back and could not figure out what I was doing wrong until I realize that I had to create standalone beats and not beats that needs an artist to make it shine. After I made that adjustment, I won the next Istandard beat battle. I still have your song in my playlist, it was definitely a treat to have been there with them on the same stage.
the types of beats that win these battles are never like actual beats that could be used for actual songs they are beats that are kimda in a genre of their own, like very much sensationalized over the top beats that do way to much and are crowd pleasers but could never be used by an actual artist, and the ones that win would almost NEVER be picked by an artist. its not really an authentic producer battle, as in who creates the best beat for a hit record.

Yes, that is the battle aspect. Hard hitting, dynamic and switchy, like the beat is throqing punches and bobbing and weaving. A beat war is what you're thinking of where you just judge a beat on technicality and sound selection. Think rap battle vs song war

I get what you mean but bro, a beat battle is a beat battle, its a place where anybody can get access to, its even more fair giving that he went undercover so it was a weird white guy in the battle. If the battle was meant for only a certain level of producers, it would be mad unfair, but the guy who won was literally nominated to a grammy so yeah.
I mean... I don't know anything about this stuff, but I agree with Kyle. Seemed like some of the judges kinda hated on him and I feel like they kinda weren't gonna let *that weirdo* take away Umairs 10th belt. I have no proof off but I felt it was sort of hanging heavy in the air (and what's up with that 3rd judge not wanting to make a decision on who to choose????? lol. I felt I was watching a kid. That's your job man xD ). Had both Kyle and Umair been anonymous I'm quite sure Kyle would have won unanimously. Also probs to Kyle for kinda risking it all as a known figure in that community. It's not 1 to 1, but you don't see a boxer with the belt take on the small fishes. It's too risky and not worth it. You have everything to loose and not much to gain... when your in that seat you should technically be better than the others, no? So respect for kinda putting your reputation on the line. @@sbwilkerson His preferences are wack. If he was a "professional", he would realize that the other dude's beats are just rip-off concepts that have been done before a million times over. I STG his 3rd jersey beat was a 1-1 copy of someone else's work with some juicy, speaker-shaking 808's shoved in. Anybody can do that. Dude's not producing. He's not making beats. He's DJing beats made from other people. Anyone who has engaged with the popular music scene since 2020-24 would realize that he's just riding worn-out trends and jacking songs/melodies he hasn't made. Kyle's final beats were literally top-of the line, professional level, HAND MADE productions. The drums, the melodies, the mixing, everything. I don't even like Kyle's style that much because it tends to lean more towards being mainstream (hence the Drake comparisons). But at least his beats are original, display real artistry, and are handled with taste. Kyle could 100% cook up something experimental/knocking, but he likes to keep it classy. He can make top-of-the-line beats in just about any hip-hop genre considering its his profession (and has a decade+ of experience). Even an amateur could slap together a hard-hitting jersey/philly banger with little to no experience. I believe that the judges (aside from the one who was on Kyle's side) are idiots/frauds. The one judge didn't even want to make a decision, like what? It's your job to make a decision. (my guess is that he wanted to pick Kyle but would be afraid of the consequences). In all honesty, I think that this is a case of not wanting to let the white guy win, if not just sheer incompetence or lack of understanding. They wanted the "9x champ" to win for posterity's sake, because letting the weird looking white guy outperform their "star" would be sacrilege. But who's to say.
Your last opponent's beat is more like a common remix, but your beats are classy and clean, bro. They deserve more than just a beat battle. good stuff sir!
If I was there as your wingman I'd be telling you to try to stop touching the hat. It was a signal to others you weren't confident about something. Your tracks were great though. Loved the Purple Rain infused track.

When that first judge talked, there was so much wholesomeness and goodness when he spoke! He was honest about how it was his out of his preference that he lost, and he did that in such an honest and kind way. Then he gives him one of the best and most honest compliments I've heard. It wasn't even like he was trying to let him down nicely, that judge gave him an honest to goodness compliment. Plus, if there was any doubt, he wanted 'Chris Kyle' to send him some of his stuff. It was wholesome all around.
As someone who has never seen this channel or heard your beats before, I think the judges got it right for this type of contest. More variety in each beat is just more interesting when there isn't a lead vocal.
I watched a beat battle recently and I saw that someone incorporated techno into the beat and it blew the judges away. You should try to add some house or DnB aspects to your beats if you do another beat battle.

@@Warframeplayer-s4l yeah, but people like Herc & Flash were innovating & pioneering, these dudes are just lazy & uncreative.
@@varinderparmar8568 yeah hip hop is sampled based music. The point I was trying to make, it’s a characteristic.
You Legit killed Umir your shit was hittin.. never judge a book by its cover..iF u went as you they wouldve called it different.
ayy thank you bro! I thought he beat me with that last one but love the support!
He beat you with a tiktok Mashup?@@KyleBeats_
@@KyleBeats_ he copy pasted someone elses song brotha. don't give that bum credit.
@@casserCOMyea lol. I could make that
@casserCOM it's literally someone he knows friend, you think he's gonna call him a bum? Plus kyle doesn't have that kind of ego as far as I've seen, granted I don't know him personally, but I have never seen any kind of ego creep outta that man
This like a rich guy playing the lottery
I get what you mean but bro, a beat battle is a beat battle, its a place where anybody can get access to, its even more fair giving that he went undercover so it was a weird white guy in the battle. If the battle was meant for only a certain level of producers, it would be mad unfair, but the guy who won was literally nominated to a grammy so yeah.
Im rolling from this comment 🤣🤣💀
@@yinx8903he didn't, the one who won, he says at the end, it's called "blacker than me" and shows a pic.
Super dope to be apart of this!! Always love djing the Beat Battle and seeing all the talent that comes through there!
GREAT VIDEO!
Lastly, the short clip we heard of the winner... he sounded like he brought that good shiet! 17:50
Man I subscribed to you (I don't want to lie, but I'm guessing here) about 2 years ago, and so far you are the most entertaining youtube content creator, you always try to think of something else, never getting stale, and always showing love to everyone involved. You are amazing, keep it up. Much love from Poland.
Thank you!
Yes my name is chris kyle, im here to snipe the competition 😂
Bro ain’t even a beat producer, he’s just a DJ 😂
who keeps competing after already won a bunch of times
Lol his beats were dope. Ya’ll hating 😂
@@MultiPuppypuncher yes that's true cause you already heard it in other people's popular mix vids your brain just recognized the vibes.
I still prefer the other guy great producer his track was fire.
Thats beat on 20min is dope af gives me Nujabes feelings,
Also the 24m track with the amazing sample. Loving it
This was awesome. As a producer that has been in 5 beat battles including 2 in Dallas. I could honestly say this is the best depiction of the battle. U can’t just play your regular beats. U gotta reconstruct the hardest spots that hit need to be put first then crammed into 1 min. I had to learn that also. Have beats specifically for beat battles. Great video. Thank you! #Subscribed
What is the purpose of the battle if not to identify producers who can work with big artists.
exactly because i dont know anyone who doses beat battles and is famous. the umar dude is a 10x champ n no one knows bro lmao. there as a dude w grammy nominations and got kicked in the first or second round
@@zaywop5978he’s a 10x champ???? Howwww
@@zaywop5978 ever heard of Wondagurl? SymbolycOne? Boi-1da? A lot of famous producers start their careers at beat battles.
That second judge was a hater..
Bro was tweaking
Nah man. From experience Eclipse is a complete professional. Don’t be mad about subjective preferences. 🤷♂️
To be fair, it was a beat battle, not a back track listening party. I think his comments were fine.
@@casserCOMyeah and the guy is related to dj Khaled too
this is one of the videos that I most enjoyed this year on god, nice stuff Kyle
Your last opponent's beat is more like a common remix, but your beats are classy and clean, bro. They deserve more than just a beat battle. good stuff sir!
If I was there as your wingman I'd be telling you to try to stop touching the hat. It was a signal to others you weren't confident about something. Your tracks were great though. Loved the Purple Rain infused track.
loving these new style videos, keep it up
Glad you like it! 😊
i saw simon servida do this 🔥🔥
We literally filmed the same video the same weekend without telling each other... LOL.
It's why I waited to drop this, We filmed this back in JUNE! (check the date on flyer)

😅yeah bro got knocked out in the first round
Oh dang! @kylebeats_ that’s really awesome that you let Simon post first
@@dzmo-official we were just slow cause we were getting backed up with filming LOL
That first judge was absolutely right about that beat at 28:32, extremely moving. The guys commentary in the crowd was awesome lmao. Kyle also called out that dude at 33:58 that was funny af.
Third judge was like: “look I already took the $100 to vote for the
Undefeated guy….so, you choose for me so I can say I didn’t vote.”
That prince joint was crazy 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Next time hire someone to do a real undercover disguise on you haha. The hair is crazy
The judge who had your back is a real one
Bro you fire asl. not only for your beats but for your personality to bro. I feel like people dont talk enough about that, but i feel like its not just your music that makes people watch your videos. you truly are an entertainer bro. much love ❤
I don’t know about the beat music industry but this video showed up on my feed and it was very fun to watch
I like when everyone stood there with their music playing and interpretive dancing to the beat
When I heard that first best I would have known it was you because it's the Matt corman song im still waiting for
hahaha , the song is out btw LOL "she a fan"
Hopefully Kyle does better than Simon Servida lmao
Respect to those judges, they fair and even though they judges, they ain't judging.. you know what I mean
"if someone's tried to make music in the past 7 years there's a good chance they'll know me" bruuuuh
Crazy af that he said this about himself unironically
Watched Simon do this, and he tragically lost round 1😂😂
After all this time you still are making such unique stuff. Have to respect your grind
Make a Video with the judge that defended you and wanted to hop on a track!!!!
OMG.. CHILLS when that IWDFU track dropped !!!!! FML cold blooded dawgy! NICE sht! NEW SUB HERE
As someone who has never seen this channel or heard your beats before, I think the judges got it right for this type of contest. More variety in each beat is just more interesting when there isn't a lead vocal.
too many 808s for me
Amazing video Kyle! Get this guy to 1 million folks
Pressure makes diamonds, and diamonds makes more pressure. The way you came into that with 3 days, was savage 🔥💯
Umair gonna get copyrighted for every song that he makes😂
The hands up killed me
9x champ produces remixes not original beats. Cudos ig. The remixes were hard.
I found this video randomly and now a fan, subscribed!!
Appreciate the support, glad you're here! 🙏
I watched a beat battle recently and I saw that someone incorporated techno into the beat and it blew the judges away. You should try to add some house or DnB aspects to your beats if you do another beat battle.
I would love to see dnb and house producers do a battle culture

@KyleBeats_ I like plaqueboimaxs song wars. Get some friends or subscribers and give them a time limit to make a song and then put them against each other. Not sure if you have done that one yet. Also more videos of having people come over and you produce a song for them.
They’re hating b/c of how you’re dressed. You weren’t dressed for the event.
idk wtf beat battles are but that prince beat was fucking sick as hell

I liked Simon's version of this. Interesting to see how yours turned out bro
Simon’s a beast 🤝
Yeah, but Simon lost in the first battle. Lol

You're a well known producer?!?!? I've never heard of you or your music before today... ,🤷🤦🤣
This type of thing I wish more people had time to do. I know being in the business is work and sometimes takes over your life. Everyone started at the bottom and this shows no matter the fame or status, there is always another person waiting to step into and over your shoes.
Great job Kyle, these fun and light hearted pranks, bring a smile to an otherwise tough life to live. Never stop smiling and keep making beats to make the world bump.
